Hello again,
Yesterday I didn't have time to write my diary entry, but I'm writing now. Like we said in Spain: "better late than never".
It was my last day of work and after work, we went to lunch the whole department. Well, that's isn't correct exactly because some of my colleague couldn't come because they had to take a plane that same day.
I have not been in this job for so long, so it was a good opportunity for me to know better my colleagues.
We are a small company that develops equipment for military ships and planes. Especially, we develop displays and monitors.
Our main customer is Airbus, and this week we were in a bit of a hurry because Airbus was pressuring us to send some of our equipment, because they needed it for some of their planes, and they wanted it before we went on vacation. In the end, we could send them the equipment they wanted, so we left knowing we did good work, and we earned these vacations.
Thanks for reading me.
Hope you have a good day!

As every positive, there are negatives. A saying from my mother comes to mind, " warm bed only feeds indolence." For an example of my mother's words, look no further than the democratic state of California. Democrats are metaphorically making up this warm bed for lazy people to lay in. They are doing this by increasing the budgets for building utility/apartments that serve the poor and providing free food and more than three hundred-dollars subsides per week for the homeless. As some know, the majority of homeless don't need to worry about their survival. If they pee in front of the offices, they will get what they want. Like what my mother said,“ the crying infant has milk." Some joked that is human progress, I agree. But seriously, with the long term, this situation will become a social malaise.

Cinderella:
Was soll ich jetzt machen?
Kommentar:

These paragraphs are not connected:
1) Two examples of American modernist writers are John Steinbeck and Vladimir Nabokov. In this regard, this essay will contrast these two novelists and their foremost works: The Grapes of Wrath and Lolita. This essay will compare their contexts and influences, always framed under the concept of Modernist Literature.
2)These countercultural writing styles further demonstrate at what level the disintegrated state of society affected the work of writers at that time. In this regard, writers with a voice emerged to advocate for those without power. In this category of writers bold enough to denounce social issues, John Steinbeck arises as one of the most important voices in the America of the early 20th century. A writer whose books tapped into socio-political issues, relevant for his time.
3) On the whole, both writers, the same as their books have transcended time to become everlasting classics. On the one hand, Steinbeck has come to be an icon of rebellion against social injustices, ideas that he imprinted throughout all his work. On the other hand, Nabokov, has transformed in an icon of contracultural literature, not only for the subjects that he covered but also for the innovative resources he included in his books. Both different in style but similar in essence, since both have become a referent in literature and synonyms of mastery.

In my opinion, the younger generation has many options to chose the lifestyle that they want. In their age, the young generation doesn't need to face the burden of hungry in life. On the other hand, today youths who live in wealthy and stronger countries, live with the comfort of knowing where the next meal is coming from because they have a big government to support their life. Compared with the previous generation, they have much time to spend on entertainment, such as spending time playing computer games. Concurrent, for the majority, the responsibility from family is reducing by the undermining of moralities. For the older generation, the majority had to help in the fields, gather wood, fetch water, and do all kinds of odd jobs to eke out the family budget. Cause the teenagers don't have, most of them are without the sense of responsibility for their family, doubtless. Instead, they are intelligent that know has to avoid their duty and satisfy with staying where they are. The generation is lucky living in a safe environment, learning the knowledge online, receiving the newest information from the world rapidly, and enjoying the convenience of the global market that has low prices and high-quality products. These are benefits their parents didn't have at their age.

Alles in ordnung.

One of most challenging things about leaving your country is not fitting into the new nation, and this may bring out a great fear and uncertainty in the exchange student. Also, the documentation process might be complex and stressful depending on the student's original country, and in order for the traveller to be granted with the visa is required a greal deal of money and time.
It is worth mentioning that if the student is leaving for country where his/her native language is not spoken, it is needed a basic knowledge on the target language so that the student will be able to get by with essential activities.
It is widely common for incoming students to be concerned about not having many friends or any friend at the beginning of their time abroad. I can relate to that since I have been to The USA over a year, and I had not made any close friend during the first four months due to lack of abilities with English and confidence.
Another reason for students to feel beside themselves while living abroad is the unfamiliar climate, which can be really harsh on the body and complete alter what clothes one wears. But, to someone who has never seen a snowy weahter before, it can be quite enjoyable to make your first snowman and draw an angel on the ground covered with snow.
Furthermore, once you come to realize how much you have improve your target language, you will put a grin on your face, right off the bat. You might begin to feel like you are at home, and after the first semester you will have made friends where you least had expected. When the time to leave comes up, a feeling of indecision about whether you want to depart or not will kick in, and you will have to say farewell to all your new friends with the hope of coming back soon.
In the end, you will return to your country better than you were and with more experiences and stories to tell, so enjoy your time abroad in your best way.

In a small town not far from where I live, a stroller called the fire brigade because he was observing a bird hanging upside down in a tree and making noises that sounded to him like shouting for help.
The fire brigade arrived on the scene with its turnable ladder. Under the watchful eyes of a large crowd of crows in the trees and curious onlookers in the street, a fireman was able to put the bird back into its nest.
The fireman reported that the young crow had tried to fly out from its nest, but one of its legs was trapped in plastic garbage its parents had obviously used for building the nest. He wished to thank the resident of a neighboring house for lending a nail clipper to cut the garbage, as the fire truck was not well equipped for this kind of delicate rescue activities.
The commander of the fire brigade commented that volunteering to be a fireman means offering help to whomever was in need of it and that this offer is not restricted to humans.
I am happy to contribute to a society where sending a large firetruck to help a little bird is absolutely normal. On the other hand, it is a shame that the convenience we enjoy by the large amount of disposable plastic items we use every day means danger or even death to other creatures.

Liebe Neela,

I have been asked to give a 3-minute speech on the subject of helping people learn English for company training, and I would like to introduce LangCorrect. I've written a speech draft and I hope you can point out any errors to me?
---
Good morning, everyone, this is Onodak. I'm a little nervous because I'm not used to giving such speeches in English. so please go easy on me.
Today I want to introduce a social networking service that will help you learn English, especially writing English.
It's called LangCorrect.
LangCorrect is a language learning web service run by the community.
It's a service where you can get help from native speakers who will correct your writing in the language you're learning. You can also correct sentences that were written in your native language by other users who are learning it.
In my case, my native language is Japanese and I am currently learning English. This is my composition in English I posted to LangCorrect. It was titled "My Story - My Least Favorite Food".
Then users who are native English speakers corrected my sentences. Here, users corrected and commented on my writing. Each sentence is corrected and you can see what was corrected.
For example, I wrote, "It smells like a stink bug and feels like grass in my mouth". He corrected the sentence to say "It smells like a stinky bug and feels like grass in my mouth". With the comment, "A stink bug isn't a valid noun in English. The noun you have used is 'bug'. The adjective 'stinky' describes the bug". Another user responded to that comment, "A stink bug is a valid noun in English. It refers to a species of insect that is native to places such as Japan, China and Korea. The original sentence is correct".
You can get corrections like this.
On the other hand, if a user who is learning Japanese posts sentences, users, including me as a native speaker of Japanese, will receive a request to correct it. Then we can correct their sentences and reply to them. The user who was corrected may thank you for the correction.
Having a native speaker correct your writing will help you practice writing more natural sentences.
LangCorrect is completely free to use. But if you like it you can donate. Your donation will be used to pay for the cost of running LangCorrect's servers.
I started this LangCorrect in July 2020 and I have posted 6 sentences on it. I want to post more sentences and improve my English skills in the future.
Okay, this is the end of my speech. If you are interested in LangCorrect, please register and use it.
It has a function to allow becoming friends with other users, I would be happy if you could add my account, Onodak, as a friend. Thank you for listening.
