Every time I go to my office, I have to take the elevator because my office is on the fifteenth floor, and people around me in the elevator are all younger than me. They look in their twenties or thirties, and you can rarely see people in their forties. This makes me very moved. Of course, they are all working in some private enterprises. If you are working in a government office building, you will not see this kind of situation. I think if I worked in a private enterprise, I would probably already get fired at my age, but if I am still at work at my age, the only possibility is that I must be a big boss on my own. We will never ever know why there are significant differences between the two different fields, but I always believe that the young are hope, the young will do things better than the old, so the old should give way to the young. If you break this rule, you will get bad results. Like the United States, two presidential competitors are all in their seventies, one is almost in his eighties. Can't America find a younger person to be president? So I bet the United States will go down in all aspects sooner or later.

In the letter, the author argues that employing electronic monitoring system in the workstation is necessary as this will prevent the employees from wasting work time, thereby increasing productivity. While this argument may seem plausible at first, the argument is strongly predicated on several unwarranted assumptions. The VP’s recommendation can have several implications if these unjustified assumptions fail to be accounted for.
Firstly, the author falsely assumes that there will not be any backlash from the employees if the company is to start the monitoring measure and possibly punish the employees. In fact, some employees may feel that their privacy is widely breached and think that the management is unfairly probing into their private space. If this turns out to be the case, some dissatisfied employees might even go far as to quit their job or denigrate the company to outsiders. These might even cause some fresh competent workforce to seriously reconsider joining the company. After all, it seems reasonable that few people will be willing to work for a company with such rigid measure. A lack of competent workforce means that the company could suffer from even lower productivity or profitability. In sum, the VP’s presumption that there will not be any repercussions from the changed measure is shortsighted and unwarranted.
Another possibly problematic presumption of the author is that forcing the employees not to rest will lead to enhanced productivity and profitability alike. In fact, a modicum of refreshment is essential for everyone in a work place to work productively. If the workers cannot relax at all due to the new monitoring system, it is more likely than not that the productivity will in fact decline, causing this new policy to backfire. Even when one concedes that reducing rest time indeed will lead to higher productivity, there is no guarantee that this will lead to improved profits. As discussed in the first paragraph, there are other possible consequences of the measure, such as dissatisfied employees spreading negative words about the firm or some quitting their work, etc. In such cases, even higher productivity is likely not to lead to higher profits. In short, the presumption that forcing the employees to only work, without any refreshment, will lead to improved productivity and profit is not only unjustified but also can lead to unexpected repercussions.
Lastly, the vice president assumes that there is no other means for the employees to avert monitoring from the management. This assumption is attributed to the vagueness of the statement. In other words, the VP does not account for the possibility that the workers will engage in recreational activities via means other than the workstation. In fact, there could be other numerous ways that the employees could engage in these activities, such as by using cellphones, personal tablets, laptops, etc. In order to rule out these possibilities and strengthen his argument, the VP should specify the extent that the monitoring will take place.
As discussed in the above paragraphs, the argument, in its current presentation, rests on several unwarranted assumptions. These are assumptions that there will not be any repercussions from implementing the monitoring system, that less rest time will lead to higher productivity and profitability, and that there are no other means, other than using the workstation, for the employees to engage in recreational activities in the work place. These unwarranted assumptions can lead several negative repercussions. Therefore, it is necessary for the company to address these issues before the company serious considers implementing the new measure.

Sometimes, I feel this is one of the happiest periods of time in my life: no need to buy houses or cars, no need to make money, no need to think about how to get promoted, no need to maintain official relationships. When traditional Chinese festivals come, I only need to visit my parents. No matter people who are rich or in a higher position, they all have nothing to do with me, of course, no matter how pretty ordinary a person I am, I have nothing to do with them. I am not good at dealing with complicated interpersonal relationships, and I also don't have much time to do it or I am indeed not into it, so for me, the simpler, the better. Even if all people ignore me, look down on me, I can still live happily because I have things I like to do, and I won't ever feel bored.

I watched Masterchef Brazil. It's a cooking show. On Masterchef, they cook animals but I watch even being vegan. Every time that I watch, I feel hungry. The show encourages me to cook too so I take some new recipes to cook on Saturday.
The show always takes a sentimental atmosphere in the beginner. I hate this part and if I watch it on YouTube, I jump it. I don't like the part that the people change suddenly as the show does you to believe.
Well, think about it, I don't know why I watch this. Maybe, see how the members will make things or resolves problems is the fun part. And the agony from the counting down too.

When I saw this title, I did confuse a little.
I mean no offensive, I like there curry.
Even in Hong Kong I will go to their shop to have lunch.
Some people may found their curry is not too spicy.
Anyway, to me I sometime will think India equal curry.
Or, if you talking about India food, curry is iconic food.
They should be the master of curry.
So, open a curry restaurant in India.
To me that is a very risky attempt.
Anyway, I may be wrong.
Hope they become popular in India.

No matter if I go anywhere, I generally don't buy things to take home. Because I think it is very inconvenient to take it home and I don't really know the stuff's quality and price. In addition to this, I think I can buy these kinds of goods in my local supermarket. In fact, I didn't ever buy some famous non-local products in my local supermarket. I think the simpler method is that: if you go somewhere, learn about some famous local products and you really want to try it, OK, the best way may be getting to know the famous brand and factory first, and then, you buy them online. This way, the quality and price are guaranteed, and probably, the stuff you bought can arrive with you in your home town at the same time. Isn't it the best way to buy famous local products when you go to a strange city? I used to buy Harbin red sausage and Hulunbeier cheese this way. Of course, everyone has their own different ways to buy famous local products and this is only my own way.

I occasionally talk to language exchange partners, who are native English speakers. One of them who is now studying to take the MCAT Exam is just graduated. He's said that he would take the Exam in September, but his preparation for the MCAT Exam was not so enough that he postponed until next year.
Actually, he skipped a year in his University, when he was third year, he could graduate this year, because his University's dean acknowledged his Advance Placements. There's a system of the APs in America for high schoolers. The high schooler can make the most of self-study to take University's Credits in high school such as AP history, AP Chemistry and AP Japanese, etc.
The high schoolers can take the APs'a exam as many as possible. Of course, you don't have to take any APs' Exam, if you like. The my partner's gotten 60 or 70 credits by APs' exam, so the total of APs' credits could fill the regulation in relation to the condition of graduation. Then, he could graduate from his University at 3rd year. He is now studying to get high score on the MCAT Exam next year.
