Hier in Kuba sind Fußball und Baseball die meist-gesehen/getrieben Sports. Basketball ist auch von vielen beliebt.
In Kanada sind Eishockey (der Nationalsport) und Basketball am meisten getrieben. Fußball (Soccer) ist auch sehr bekannt und wird besonders von jüngeren Leuten gespielt. Amerikanischer Fußball, Baseball und Tennis sind auch relativ populär.

The Difference between Happiness and Satisfaction
Happiness is a mood that comes early and goes early as well. Satisfaction is a state that comes late and goes late too. Happiness is occurred to you, that is to say, it is a passive emotion but satisfaction ought to be obtained, meaning an active existence. Happy humans are not necessarily satisfied with themselves and their lives. They laugh but deep down their laughs have the bitter taste of boredom and depression. Happiness removes sadness but neither boredom nor depression. At times, satisfaction has a little color of sadness. Satisfied humans are not always happy but they are neither bored nor depressed. Happiness is our emotional reaction to the presence of pleasure. However, satisfaction is the way we are in the presence of meaning. The pleasures of life bring happiness, the meaning of life satisfaction. It is from the weak points of our times that most of us are content with happiness instead of satisfaction.

Exercise
Yesterday was the first time I exercised in a long time. I'm always saying that I want to work out at least three days a week but I never actually do it. I'm quite sedentary, as I sit around all day and almost never work out. The health app in my phone shows that I walk around five hundred steps a day. This is not at all healthy, so I've decided to take exercise more often.
However, I don't like working out because I get very tired really soon and I find it quite boring. Unfortunately, listening to music doesn't help much. I have a treadmill at home so I was thinking about using it while watching YouTube or Netflix. I'm also considering going on a walk every day or jumping rope at home, which seems more fun.
Tomorrow I'm going to set some goals regarding this and make a plan so as to achieve them.
Should I say "jump rope" or "skip rope"? I was taught to use "skip", but I saw "jump rope" more often on YouTube. I also don't know whether to use "phone", "smartphone", "cellphone" or "mobile phone". I would really appreciate it if you could help me with that.

The dish I ate a couple of days ago, and also was very forgetful was braised meat. It was not cooked in a big, decent restaurant, but on a small street by a box lunch store. Its two characteristics are 香和烂. I know 香in English is fragrant, but I don’t know how to say 烂in English. I don't know if it's right to say this: it is fragrant and rotten, but some foreigners said that I was using the wrong word "rotten", because "rotten" means that some stuff, especially the food, is bad or damaged. But what I really mean by using 烂 is to describe that the meat is easy to chew or it makes a melting feeling when it comes into your mouth. That is all for this passage. Can anyone give me the correct translation of the Chinese saying 肉又香又烂?

Me gustan las galletas. Hay tal una variedad que puedes hacer. Mientras las galletas con chispas de chocolate son muy populares, hay literalmente cientos de alternativos. ¡Me siente que cada día descubro una tipa nueva! Especialmente durante las fiestas, las galletas se vuelven muy elaboradas. パッションって何？
最近は将来に何をしたいのか悩んでいて、やっぱり何かパッションとか情熱がある仕事をしたいなと思いました。自分にとって嫌な仕事ばかりしたら、人生で意味がないんだ。何か後悔しないように大学の勉強を決めなければいけない気持ちが頭に溢れていました。でも何に強いパッションがあるのか考えたら分からなくなりました。
自分はいろんな趣味がある人なんです。音楽が好きですし、日本語を勉強するのが好きですし、絵を描くも好きです。音楽の中でいろんな楽器を弾くけど、一つの楽器もマスターしたって言うことと言えません。大学に行くと、今よりのやる気と頑張れる気持ちがもっと必要だと思います。数字にすると、一週間に三回を練習することじゃなくて、毎日数えられないぐらい時間を練習します。自分の中で、数えられない時間ぐらい練習するパッションがあるのか悩んでいた。
そしてパッションって何と聞かれると、自分にはパッションがあることで、やる気がなくても上手くなくても必ず楽しくすることだと思います。今はそんなことをまだ見つけてないけど、いつかパッションがあることを見つけるといいなと思います。

Full-Time Job
Yesterday I talked to one of my language exchange partners who wants to take an MCAT Exam next year. It seems to me that he has lost interest in readying for the MCAT Exam lately. When I talked with him, I was surprised to hear that he got a full-time job in a lab, He's just graduated from University. Actually, he skipped a year to graduate. When he's a third year student, he just graduated from University this year, and began to study for the MCAT together with his classmates through an internet. I wish his long-cherished dream comes true. However......
It's so hard to believe that he'll begin to work full-time. According to him, he'll begin to work in a lab which is affiliated with the Harvard University. Next week, he is moving to a flat or a shared room in Cambridge. When he said that he's skipped a year successfully at the University and he'll study at home preparing for the MCAT Exam, then, I was afraid that he'll maybe fall by wayside's possibility based on my experience.
Self-study is much harder than you might think. I suppose that he'll may end up giving up to take the MCAT Exam. It seems to me that he's being swept away by the flow or avoiding to face reality. Basically, he is no more than a geek, fortunately, he is not a nerd. After he'll move and work full-time, he said he will study for the MCAT Exam at the same time. It seems to me that he is trying to shorten his time of study. Anyway, I hope that his long-cherished dream comes true.

This weekend I was kind of busy. On Thursday I learned my older brother’s family returned to my village to attend the funeral of my older brother’s mom in law. According to our local tradition, I should attend the funeral and bring some money to show my sympathy as relevant, so I returned to the village on Friday. According to my older brother’s trip plan, I went to my hometown to pick them up to Fuyang to see my mom. After lunch at my mother’s house, I took them to my hometown again. When I returned to Fuyang, it was already dark. Today is Sunday, so far there are no planned things to do, but I need to go to my office once because I have an official business trip to Hefei tomorrow, and some stuff that the trip needed was left in the office.

How would your life be if mobile phones didn't exist?
If mobile phones didn’t exist our lives would change drastically and our lifestyle would be completely different as it is now. Everyone has a phone, and especially young people use it on a daily basis. There are even some people who cannot live without it!
If someday phones disappeared our daily lives would be similar as they were a decade ago. Personally, it would save me a lot of time. I would wake up without checking and scrolling through Instagram and other apps. You don’t really notice it, but you can easily spend up to an hour just looking at your phone, wasting time. I would also enjoy doing activities outside or spending more time on my hobbies, which I often abandon since I can’t find time for them. My attention span would also improve notoriously, given the fact that my phone distracts me from whatever task I’m doing.
Even though mobile phones bring us amazing opportunities and makes our lives easier, we’ve become too dependent on them. We should find balance and learn to use them wisely in order to make phones something useful and positive for us.

Meine Katze
Als ich ein Junge war, hatte ich beide Hunde und Katzen. Heute habe ich nur eine Katze, weil ich in einer kleinen Wohnung wohne. Sie ist eine schwarz-weiße Katze. Ihr Rucken ist schwarz und hatte auch einen schwarzen Fleck auf den Kopf. Sie heißt Cosima und ist etwa vierzehn Jahre alt. Leider ist sie nicht so verspielt as früher. Im moment, schläft sie auf dem nahe gelegenen Sofa. Bald ist es Zeit, Cosima zu futtern.

Deux vaccins contre la COVID-19
Dans les semaines dernières, deux entreprises pharmaceutiques ont annoncé les résultats préliminaires de leurs essais cliniques. What are the key things to get right when designing services
Customer satisfaction & Performance management
When designing services in order to delight customers in service organizations, one of the key external metrics is customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is the difference between the customer’s expected and perceived performance of the service. (DCU, 2019) Through questionnaires and surveys, or mystery shoppers to measure customer satisfaction is the used way to be assessed. If we know more information about customers' expectations, the more we would know what the firm might need to do to improve their services. Moreover, through those exact data and comments, it provides evidence to help managers to make action plans.
From inside of service organizations, the key operational performance objective is to achieve consistency of outcome for customers. (Robert et al., 2016) Customers couldn’t directly know how your organizations worked, but they can feel about what you say and what you do. Therefore, effective performance management is the key factor related to measuring customer satisfaction, cost-effective and maximising profit. Lord Kelvin (1885) stated:” when you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it”. Especially if you can manage your service performance through numeric metrics.
If we further refine how to control performance, we can break it down to the strategic level and operational level, even societal level. Day to day operations include quality, speed, dependability, flexibility and cost. Organization’s strategies include risk and resilience, capital utilization, service and revenue, efficiency and cost and capability for innovation. (DCU, 2019) In general, we use a balanced scorecard as a framework to develop metrics and cover every aspect of operations. And then we also can through benchmarking as an approach to continuously measuring products, quality and services, we can adapt our operational approach to achieve high-quality performance, to align with advanced market standards, to maintain the market leadership.
Service operations improvement
Services need to be a continued improvement to delight customers. Never changed services couldn’t follow the change of the era and aren’t able to satisfy customers. Then how to improve the service? Based on real situations organizations can choose different improvement strategies: continuous improvement or radical improvement. The mature approaches include total quality management, six sigma and business process re-engineering.
In order to provide faster and more efficient services, we need to continually improve service system design. For example, through cross-training of employees to request employees to do additional things when they are waiting for the customers, it can reduce setup times, and also create more values for the company. Based on service blueprinting, it’s easy to see which parts will directly serve to customers, which parts are the internal process. The goal is to provide good services to customers and focus on internal process efficiency.
Lean thinking is original from services, mainly focusing on process improvement. Through the lean concept, we can synchronize and balance information and workflow, increase total visibility of all components and processes, eliminate waste, increase flexibility in the use of resources.

Zocken
Heute ist endlich die Grafikkarte, die ich seit mehr als 2 Monaten bestellt habe, bei mir eingetroffen. Deswegen will ich den ganzen Tag auf meinem Computer Computerspiele spielen, leider wird das nicht passieren, da ich immer noch Rückenschmerzen habe.
Aber, es geht mir schon besser, zumindest im Vergleich zu einer oder zwei Wochen vorher. Die Schmerzen, unter den ich leide, sind z.B. heute nicht so stark. Trotzdem will ich an den Wochenende nicht so viel vorm Rechner verbringen. Na ja, irgendwo muss es eine Balance zwischen Spielen und Entspannen geben.

我的生活故事 （第二篇）
在奥地利，我们小学学完之后要选一个初中学校。一般来说，我们有两个选择，普通中学和高级中学。大部分的孩子去普通学校，成绩比较好的孩子可以申请去高级中学。因为高级中学也称为文理中学专注于学术道路，所以大部分的文理中学生（或者他们的父母）打算以后去读大学。高级中学分为两类：公立学校和私立学校。学校能够接收的学生人数有限所以挺难申请到。你通常要有一个亲人在这个学校读过，不然的话就很难申请到。虽然我没有被私立学校录取但是公立学校录取了我。与许多其他国家不同的是，在奥地利，公立和私立的差别不大。我收到的教育很好但是我还是觉得我们国家的教育系统让孩子做选择太早。即使你普通中学读完之后还可以申请到高级高中但是很少人能做到。几年前，我们政府改变了我们的教育系统可是我对这个变化的影响或者效率不太熟悉。我怀疑这个政策有预期的效果，但是我不是专家。好，这一片我说道这里吧。

Que faites-vous pour réduire l'anxiété ?
1) Je fais de l’exercise presque chaque jour, soit je cours soit je vais au gym (mais pas maintenant à cause du virus). Cependant, parfois l’excercise est une source d’anxiété pour moi parce que quand j’ai une blessure et je peux pas courir, ça me rend très triste.
2) Je fais de la méditation, mais souvent j’oublie à le faire ou j’ai pas la motivation. Mais, je devrais le faire plus régulièrement parce que ça me calme beacoup.
3) J’écoute a la musique. J’aime beaucoup de genres, de la musique classique à la musique pop.

Une maison abandonnée
Je faisais une randonee quand, tout à coup, j'ai trouvé une maison abandonée. C'était très grande avec beaucoup de salles. Il y avait des muebles aussi commes des armoirs, des lits, et des tapis. Il y avait une grande escalaire aussi. Mais, il n'y avait pas un trace de vie. Je n'ai vu personne ou aucunes animals. Je n'ai entendu un seul son. Rien n'était propre et il semblait que personne n'a veçu la pour un très longtemps.
