Deutsche Musik
In letzter Zeit habe ich fast alle Tage deutsche Musik gehört. Das war nicht der Fall zuvor, da ich Musik auf Englisch lieber höre. Auf Spanisch höre ich Musik nicht so oft. Ich mag viele mexikanische und lateinamerikanische Bands, aber ich würde gerne deutsche Musik, statt Musik auf Spanisch, hören, offensichtlich weil ich Deutsch lernen will.
Ich finde, dass deutsche Musik echt toll ist. Und zwar meine Lieblingsbands sind "Die Toten Hosen" und "Die Ärzte". Sie spielen beide Rockmusik und ein bisschen Punk. Ihrer Texte sind super kreativ und habe so viel Spaß, wenn ich versuche, die zu verstehen. Ich meine, ich habe Spaß und lerne gleichzeitige Wörter! Das ist einfach klasse.
Ich empfehle euch, wenn ihr Lust habt, deutsche Musik zu hören.

Consells per viatjar a Sud-àfrica
(Aquest és un exercici amb estructures del subjuntiu del curs de B1. Per a mi, el subjuntiu és molt difícil. No hi ha equivalent en anglès i per això em costa recordar quan i com utilitzar-lo.)
Em demanes que et doni alguns consell per viatjar a Sud-àfrica. La primera cosa que cal que entenguis és que hi ha riscos a Sud-àfrica que no vols trobar a Cataluyna.
No vull dir que tothom sigui lladre, però és un país de pobresa. Penso que pots anar amb seguretat si segueixes el meu consell. El sistema de transport públic és dolent i fer autoestop és massa perillós. Tindràs més flexibilitat i més seguretat si llogues un cotxe.
T'aconsello que mai condueixis amb els finestretes oberts i/o amb les portes no tancats amb clau. És important que posis totes les coses com el móbil, la bossa de mà o la cartera dins de la guantera o el maleter. Mai deixa una cosa de valor al seient de passatger.
Encara que sembli contra el llei, et recomano que no paris a un semàfor de nit. Frena, mira i si no hi ha altre cotxe, no paris. Continua.
No tinguis por, la majoria de la gent és molt simpàtica i te donarà una gran benvinguda!

Binomial Pairs
Today, I learned how to call these words that are made of similar two words: pick and choose, carrot and stick, the hustle and bustle, yes and no, wine and dine, pins and needles, and fast and furious. They are binomial pairs.
Here are some sentences that I wrote for memorizing these binomial pairs.

Music Heals Me
Today I got a bit irritated for no reason before I went to bed.
I tried several things to relax - playing games, looking at some funny things on the internet and listening to the music.
I noticed that I could hear the music instruments clearly through my earphones and that made me relaxed the most!
I’m feeling good now.

FONDUE EXPERIENCE
Treating guests like kings? With our cheat meal, you’re all set to do that!
Fondue1 is a Swiss melted chocolate or cheese dish served in a common dish over a portable stove8 heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping different sweet things into the chocolate using long-stemmed forks or just holding them in your hand. To successfully make it happen you need to have:
dips
chocolate to dip the dips in
special two-section vessel to melt the chocolate in. It has a chocolate cup and a candle cave beneath it.
Chocolate melts in the chocolate cup part of the fondue vessel. It uses the heat from the candle which situates beneath it in the candle cave segment of the fondue cup. Do not be mean and buy some high quality chocolate to melt – the chocolate is the star of the show and it should be really tasty.
Use anything you like as dips: brad straw, dried fruits, fresh fruits, cookies or any other thing.
You may even try mixing tastes – such as using salty chips as dips.
You also need to have the two-section fondue cup to make the experience happen and some specific fondue forks to pick up the dips and dip them into the chocolate. The last thing you need to make the experience happen is to have a tea light candle and matches to light it.
Let’s do it!
First, we assign the lighting and the stirring keepers. The lighting keeper is set to light the candle while the stirring keeper is in charge of stirring the slowly melting chocolate. There is also the dips keeper whose mission is to arrange and prepare the dips with grace.
The sequence of the ritual is the next:
light the candle
start stirring the chocolate till it is completely melted
arrange the deeps to be visually appealing for the people to take from the plate
once the chocolate is melted, put out the candle13 and get to the next step
give everybody a fork and start trying the dish out

Die irische Sprache
Die irische Sprache stammt aus der keltischen Sprachfamilie. Andere Sprachen wie Walisisch, Kornisch, Bretonisch, Manx und Gälisch-Schottisch gehören ebenfalls zur keltischen Sprachfamilie. Am kommenden Montag beginne ich einen sprachkurs in Gälisch Irisch! Ich bin sehr gespannt! (Táim ar bis, auf Irisch).

一番好きなアニメは「ワンパンマン」です。僕は高校3の時、そのアニメは外国でとてもはまっていて、あんまり漫画を読まない僕でも毎週の漫画を楽しみにしていました。なぜそんなに好きだったのかを説明してみます。
多くの人たちはヒーローが好きで、ヒーローに憧れます。なぜなら彼らはただの人間ではないからです。多くのヒーローは強くて、人を助けます。しかし、アニメ『ワンパンマン』のサイタマというヒーローは、他のヒーローと少し違います。強すぎて誰とも本気で戦うことができないヒーロー。彼はずっと強い敵を探していますが、見つけることができません。力があるにも関わらず、Ｃ級のヒーローで知名度がなく、給料が低いので貧乏です。このようなヒーローなのに、アニメのウェブサイトによると、ワンパンマンはアニメ人気ランク七位にランクインしています。なので、とても人気があると言えます。さて、どうしてサイタマは人気があるのでしょうか？
サイタマは人を助け、怪物を倒しますが、自分には全く利益がありません。結局彼はサラリーマンみたいなヒーローになります。更にヒーローなのに私たちと同じような問題を抱えています。例えば、彼は金がないので、いつもスーパーのセールに行って節約しなければいけません。だからこそ、サイタマは人気があるのではないでしょうか。特別な力以外はただの人間なので、人々から共感を得やすいのです。これが人気に繋がっているのだ気がします。ぜひ『ワンパンマン』を観てみてください。

Je suis malade
Récemment, je suis malade. Au debut de janvier, j'ai eu deux attaques de panique. La première fois, j'étais chez moi. Je me suis reveillé d'un rêve très mal, et j'avais la sensation d'être étouffé, et mon battement de coeur était tellement rapide. La deuxième fois, j'étais à mon boulot, dans la salle de classe avec des étudiants. Ce jour, après que j'ai quitté l'école, je suis venue à l'hôpital, mais le medecin m'a dit qu'il n'y avait de problème avec mon coeur. Comme j'avais peur, je suis allée à d'autres hôpitals, mais tous les docteurs m'a dit la même chose. J'ai raconté ce qui m'a passé à ma grande soeur, et elle m'a dit que les symptômes que j'ai eu étaient ceux d'une attaque de panique.
Plusieurs jours plus tard, je suis allée un psychiatre qui m'a donné du medicament qui faire beaucoup de bien pour moi! Mais maintenant, j'ai mal à la gorge et je ne peux pas parler très bien! Pauvre moi...

A YouTube comment I wrote
Quizzing from English to Japanese sounds like you're training your translation skills, not necessarily your comprehension skills. Using a language in most day-to-day settings involves immediate understanding, not careful (maybe deliberate sounds better?) thinking about what was just said or read. In that sense reviewing from Japanese to English while focusing on the general meaning WITHOUT trying to translate seems like the right way to go about it.

INFLATABLE SWIMMING POOL
Have a tough time taking an inflatable swimming pool back home having no fastening equipment? Not an issue until you have your children beside!
Today we are going to find out about Jennifer Yeager, 49. She is from Dixon, Illinois and she ran into some problem. She needed to inflate her swimming pool although she didn’t have any equipment to do that. That was when her friends came in handy since they had an air compressor to get the swimming pool inflated. She took off to visit her friends on Tuesday, July 9th in 2019 in the morning but was ultimately arrested in just a couple of hours. What was the reason you ask? Well, let’s just say she used something weird to hold the pool down to the car as she drove her way back home. Now, logic creatures as we are, one reasonable question would probably cross our mind. The question is: “Why the hell you need to take your swimming pool on the other side of the city, get it inflated and, being inflated, take it back home?” Can’t you just borrow an air compressor for a while? If you wondered this very question, great news! That wasn’t the worst thing she did that day. Because she used both of her children to hold the pool down as she was driving her way back home! The witnesses quickly called the cops and she was pulled over and arrested on two counts of endangering the health or life of a child and two counts of reckless conduct at 3 pm that day. During the investigation, it was also discovered that her two daughters were juveniles – one was of the age of 8 and the other was of the age of 16.
You had better think every side of your inflating swimming pool operation all the way through before using your children instead of a fastening mechanism!

Kaos i Iowa
Vid det här laget borde vi redan ha fått reda på resultaten från gårdagskvällens nomineringsvalet i Iowa. Men ett problem med hur resultaten samlas in har lett till fullständigt kaos inom processen som vanligtvis är ett viktigt del i nomineringsvalet.
Det Demokratiska partiet gav lokala representanter en mobilapp för att rapportera sina resultat men många hade svårigheter med att använda appen. Många bestämde sig för att ringa in istället men telefonlinjerna kunde inte klara så många samtal samtidigt.
Det Demokratiska partiet i Iowa säger att appen hade ett tekniskt fel, som innebär att resultaten som skickades in var felaktiga.
Det är tänkt att en del av resultaten ska släppas senare under dagen.

Cacti poaching
I read an article about a growing menace of cacti poaching. Apparently, for some national parks, it's a thorny issue. Some cacti species fetch a hefty price which results in succulents being stolen from parks and national lands. The problem is so pervasive, that the rangers and other park workers had to come up with a solution. They have started inserting chips into plants. They hope that the chip insertion will be an effective deterrent and will help them to catch the thieves red-handed.

Advantages and Disadvantages of The Cities
First I begin this post with the advantages. So the advantages of the cities are you can buy easily food on every corner unlike in a countryside. You get more informations of the world because in a big city there are lots of school and you can get easily newspapers. You can go everywhere because in a big city the public transport is better than in a village. And you can get job more easily than in a village. The disadavantages are the smogs because it's unhealthy. The cities are usually loud and dirty. In a crowded city the number of the crimes are higher than in a village and crimes usually happen every day.

Коронавирус
В декабре прошлого года вспышка пневмонии, вызванная неизвестным ранее типом коронавируса, была объявлена чрезвычайной ситуации. Вчера в Китае число зараженных новым коронавирусом превысило 17 тысяч человек. Из более 17 тысяч подтвержденных случаев заражения, 361 пациентов скончались. Судя по предыдущим двум дням, за сутки число заразившихся увеличивается на почти 3000 человек, а смертельных случаев — на около 50.
Вчера во всем мире за пределами материкового Китая число заболевших пневмонией, вызываемой неизвестным ранее видом коронавируса, достигло 182 человек.
У нас на работе отменились занятия. Так как это последняя неделя работы для меня, занятия не перенесутся.
