A Bird
The other day, my father sent me photos of a bird. The bird was Japanese white-eye and caught by my cat. My father saved the bird immediately. Fortunately, the bird didn't hurt badly, so flew away with his fellow after a while. White-eyes have a white pattern around their eyes as its name suggests, and their body color is yellow-green. They are really cute birds.

Jouer du violon
Dans mon temps libre, j'aime jouer du violon. Je prenais des leçons de violon à l'école dès l'âge de neuf ans, mais quand j'ai quitté l'école, j'ai complètement arrêté de jouer du violon. Toutefois, il y a quelques années, j'ai recommencé à en jouer pour le plaisir. Actuellement je prends un lecon de violon virtuelle chaque semaine. Je trouve que c'est un bon moyen de rester occupée pendant le confinement. Mes compositeurs préférés sont Bach et Beethoven et aujourd'hui j'ai l'intention de commencer à apprendre une sonate de Beethoven que j'aime beaucoup.

英語と日本語の歌詞
たくさんのアニソンは英語と日本語を使う。私は構わないけどよく変に英語を使うと思う。例えば今日はキャッツ・アイを観ていた。テーマソングの「Cat's Eye」が好きけど、英語は滑稽だ。

面白いことはたくさんけど、3つについて書くと思う。1番目は意味だ。「PASSION BEAT」は何の意味を持っている？どうやってPASSION BEATをグラスに注ぐのか？PASSION FRUITがきらめくのか？ソングライターは「PASSION」を使いたいだけだと思うけど結果は少し変だ。2番目は文で「ウインク」はカタカナに書いているだけど「EVERY NIGHT」は英語だ。（ウインクは外来語からカタカナの理由が分かる。でもアメリカ人としてこの文は少し変だと思う）おまけにこの文はほとんど英語だけど「する」を使っている。何で「Winking every night」とかを言わないで？3番目は大文字の使い方だ。日本語の歌から、英語の文法を使わないのはいいけど、なぜ全部大文字で書くの？
キャッツ・アイの他のアニソンも面白い英語の使い方がある。私にとっていい笑いの原因だと思う。もちろん私の日本語の能力は不十分だから歌詞をよく理解出来ない可能性もある。

Book Review
I'm interested in how big organizations make wrong decisions and lose their power. The Essence of The Failure, which is the 30 years ago's Japanese book about the analysis of Japan's armies during WWII, is drawing attention again. According this book, you would find that Japanese organizations are likely to fall into the same mistakes such as the absence of grand design and too elaborated tactics, and downplaying of logistics.
Even in today's business, thriving companies may suddenly go into unexpected bankruptcy by several ways of failures. Currently I'm reading the Japanese book named Encyclopedia of Global Bankruptcy which introduces the cases of well-known companies such as Enron and Toysurus, and Polaroid.
The decline of Polaroid and Kodak are likely to be attributed to the transition to the digital photography. I guessed that they paid little attention to the digital technology or don't afford to invest to their R&D department. But, the most important things are that no one can analyze non-existing market accurately and throw away their successful business models. Actually, they had abundant resources and developed a prototype of digital camera before SONY released it. This phenomenon is called as "The Innovator's Dilemma" that the large company can't destroy their own present business by exploring new market.

Pan bagnat (receta)
Hoy hice pan bagnat (un bocadillo de ensalada Niçoise) por primera vez. Me encanta comer ensalada Niçoise porque hay muchos componentes: atún tierno, lechuga crujiente, huevos suaves y un aderezo bien agrio. Hace unos meses mi madre compró un libro de recetas para los picnics y había una receta para un bocadillo de ensalada Niçoise. Hoy compré una baguette de una panadería muy buena y decidí hacer la receta.
Voy a compartir con vosotros la receta que seguí, pero la próxima vez que la haga voy a preparar el aderezo como mi padre lo hace (en esta versión no había suficiente aderezo para mojar el pan y además, lo prefiero un poco más agrio). Esta receta es del libro "The Portable Feast" de Jeanne Kelley y es para hacer cuatro bocadillos.
INGREDIENTES:
2 latas de atún
un tomate troceado
un cuarto de taza de aceitunas negras
zumo de un limón
3 cucharadas de albahaca troceada
2 cucharadas de alcaparras
una cucharada de mostaza de Dijon
2 dientes de ajo machacados
una baguette cortada en 4 trozos y partida longitudinalmente
4 huevos duros, cortados en rodajas
lechuga o arugula al gusto
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
una cucharadita de pasta de anchoas
DIRECCIONES:
1. Mezcla el atún, los tomates, las aceitunas, el zumo de limón, la albahaca, las alcaparras, la mostaza y el ajo en un bol.
2. Añade sal y pimienta al gusto.
3. Mezcla el aceite y la pasta de anchoas en un bol.
4. Si las rebanadas de pan son gruesas, quita la miga del pan, dejando un límite de un centímetro.
5. Pon la mezcla de atún en la rebanada de abajo.
6. Encima del atún, pon las rodajas del huevo duro y la lechuga o arugula.
7. Unta la mitad superior del pan con la mezcla de aceite y pasta de anchoas.
8. Cierre el bocadillo y presiona ligeramente para unir las mitades.
9. Envuelve cada bocadillo en papel encerado y cúbrelos con una bandeja.
10. Pon algo con peso encima la bandeja para apretar los bocadillos.
11. Espera 15 minutos, sacar la bandeja y voltear los bocadillos.
12. Recoloca la bandeja y el peso y espera 15 minutos más.
13. Cómelos así o ponlos en la nevera para comer el día siguiente (la receta dice que los bocadillos saben mejor el día siguiente así que he dejado algunos en la nevera para probar mañana).

언어를 배우기
오늘 유투브에서 정말 신기하고 좋은 강연을 봤습니다. 세바시 강연 채널에 올린 외국어 공부에 대해 영상였습니다. 특히 왜 사람들을 영어를 잘 못 공부하는 것에 대해 한 영어를 가르치시는 한국인 교수님이 설명했습니다.
외국어 배우기가 처음엔 너무 재미있는데 어려워질수록 더 재미없어진다고 했습니다. 어려움에도 불구하고 그 고생을 버티고 계속 공부하는 사람들이 언어를 잘 배운다고 그 교수님이 말했습니다. 저도 몇달 전에 어휘 공부를 지루하고 귀찮다고 불평했는데 마침내 어휘 공부를 시작한 후에 많은 것을 배우기 시작했고 점점 더 유창해지는 걸 느꼈습니다.
지적과 정서적 성장을 하고 싶으면, 여러분은 편안한 곳에서 나와서 별로 좋아하지 않는 것들을 하면 좋습니다.

Ce soir, je suis très découragée par mes progrès en français. C'est tout à fait ma propre faute de ne jamais étudier. Quand mes parents habitaient avec moi, j'ai utilisé les excuses que je devais s'occuper, donc je n'avais pas de temps pour le français, mais maintenant, ils ont déjà déménager à leur nouvelle maison depuis un mois, et je manque des excuses.
Pendant mon cours de conversation en français ce soir, je n'ai pas participé que deux fois. J'ai à la fois perdu à cause de la vitesse des interlocuteurs et aussi du sujet. Si le sujet de la conversation porte sur la science ou sur les sport, alors je m'ennuie complètement. J'écouterais patiemment, mais je ne peux pas y ajouter de valeur. C'est dommage, comme presque tout le monde adore la science et le sport. Mais si les sujets portent sur la haute couture, les cultures du monde, la cuisine, la musique, la géographie, les voyages, ou la lecture, alors, je participerais plus. Depuis mars dernier, notre cours de français se passe en ligne par Skype. La plupart des étudiants sont très polis, et ils écoutent et participent même quand ils ne sont pas intéressés, mais il y a deux étudiants qui sont un peu distraits. De temps en temps, ils quitteront entièrement la salle pour aller chercher quelque chose à boire ou faire autres choses pendant le cours. À l'autres moments, ils feraient taire leur haut-parleur tout en parlant à quelqu'un d'autre chez eux. Très souvent, quand ils se lèvent de leur siege, je dois regarder leur dos ou leurs jambes. Je suis patiente, mais aussi très agacée, a tel point que je ne veux plus m'inscrire a ce cours. Je n'ai pas envie de regarder les fesses de quelqu'un sure l'écran pendant une heure entière, surtout avant le dîner. C'est à la fois drôle et dégoûtant.
C'est peut-être pour cette raison que mon niveau de français a atteint un plateau. Je ne suis ni meilleure ni pire. Je ne veux par partager mes pensées avec ceux qui quittent la salle tout le temps. Je ne comprend pas pourquoi le professeur dit rien. Ce serait plus efficace si elle pouvait réitérer les règles du cours et souligner que tout le monde doit être respectueux quand les autres parlent. Ou peut-être j'utilize ce cours comme une autre excuse pour laquelle mon français ne s'améliore pas.

Les plages de Rio de Janeiro
J'adore me balader dans les rues et les plages de Rio, especialment les matins et les soirs. Dans ces moments-là, le soleil n'est pas trop fort et le ciel est plein de couleurs magnifiques. Je me promene avec notre petite chienne, pretinha, qui adore aussi les plages. Il y a toujours beaucoup de personnes qui jouent volley, qui jouent au foot et qui font du jogging. On trouve aussi des vendeurs d'eau de noix de coco, des vendeurs de maís et de acaí. Le seul problème est que je ne me sens pas trop confortable ni sauf les soirs, quant au nombre de vols armés qui passe dans cettes regions. Toutefois, je suis très reconnassainte d'avoir l'occasion d'être ici pendant cet été trés beau.

The Dollar's fall
The Dollar's fall took by surprise all the investors working on wall street during the last few months. Old guys in the industry and some important economist have foreseen that dollar are able to fall even more. The upheaval behavior of the currency can bring important changes to the economy of the world and even could redefine which will be new powerful countries.
China seems to be the main competitor of the United States in this times, which is a pity because i don't want to learn mandarin language and It could even worst, China have one of the most repressive way of government that today exists and backwards countries usually tent to emulate or use the same political structures of the developed countries.
I would rue to live in a world with a restricted freedom and today our freedom is threatened by countries like china or some others Asiatic economies, because of that i decided not to buy Huawei anymore, because I want to defend my freedom and I cant use google play store in Huawei phones and that is even more disgusting than lose my rights.

Mi primera classe de español
El lunes que viene, tendré mi primera classe de español. La classe será online, en 'preply' con un profesor dominicano. Empecé a aprender la lengua hace dos años y alcancé un buen nivel. Pero, me mudé para Brasil el año pasada, comencé a aprender el portugués y hablarlo todos los días. Desde entonces, no he hablado casi nada de español, y me siento como me he olvidado mucho. Por eso estoy muy emocionada para hacer una clase y hablar español de nuevo!

Lebst du gesund?
Ich denke ich lebe nicht gesund. Ich esse oft nicht gesundes Essen, weil ich faul zu kochen bin. Ich trainiere selten, aber ich fahre gerne Fahrrad. Vor dem Covid bin ich jeden Tag mit dem Fahrrad zur Arbeit gefahren. Ich wohne auf einem Hügel, also war der Weg zurück schwer. Jetzt ich arbeite von Zuhause und gehe selten nach draußen.

Why it is so hard to plan
The more time you invest into and attention you pay to planning a project, the easier it will kick off. Often the main project will even run automatically if it was prepared diligently. And if you also introspect a project directly after its finish, you can avoid mistakes next time. This is true for complex software projects and big events with hundreds of participants, but also for small errands like washing the dishes. And this example also tells us why planning and introspection is easy to understand and hard to master: You get to the kitchen, and it looks like a mess: Dishes are scattered every and cutlery is mixed with bowls. It's a very dismaying outlook, and you loose enthusiasm and just start and wash the first item you get a hold off. It takes a lot more energy to take a deep breath and first sort the items and first wash things that are only slightly dirty, so you can see progress quickly and keep the dishing water cleaner longer. And even harder: If you ask yourself after you finished cleaning the dishes what went really well (like: clean all glassy things first), you will be even faster next time. But that is another investment that needs mental energy and easily skipped.

Ce que j'aime faire pendant la pandémie c'est organiser des voyages dans le futur. Ça me garde sain d'esprit et me rend heureuse.
À ce moment là, je suis en train d'organiser un voyage en Patagonie. À mon avis, c'est le plus bel endroit du monde. C'est vraiment vaste et isolé, et pas facile y aller. De Californie, on doit prendre un vol à Dallas ou Miami, puis on prend un vol direct à Buenos Aires. Pour mes amis d'Asie, ils devront également prendre un vol à Dallas. Pour eux, ça sera un long voyage. Enfin, pour mes amis d'Europe, ils ont plusieurs choix en fonction de leur pays. Il y a des vol de Londre, de Frankfurt, d'Amsterdam, de Madrid, etc. Mais, pour la plupart, mes amis en Europe habitent au Autriche, en Allemagne, en Danemark et en France. À cause du décalage horaire et des pays différents dans lesquels nous vivons, se retrouver à Buenos Aires sera un peu difficile.
C'est toujours une bonne idée d'arriver à Buenos Aires deux jours en avance avant de descendre en Patagonie, parce qu'il n'y a que deux vols par jour à El Calafate. Moi, je préfère commercer le voyage en Argentine et j'essaie traverser la frontière entre l'argentine et le Chili seulement une fois, parce que le passage des frontières peut être très fatigant. Une foi, nous avons dû attendre deux heures pour la traversée. Une autre raison pour laquelle j'aime commencer en Argentine est le paysage, qui devient de plus en plus spectaculaire à mesure que l'on rapproche au Chili. Cela ne veut pas dire que le paysage en Argentine n'est pas incroyable, mais les montagnes Andes deviennent plus dentelées et plus majestueuses au Chili. Certains des endroits que nous visiterons sont El Chalten, pour monter la montagne Fitz Roy, El Calafate pour faire du trekking sur un glacier, Torres Del Pines pour faire du randonner sur les sommets et pour faire nombreuse des autre sports, comme le kayak, l'équitation, le placement d'animaux, etc., et Peurto Natales pour voir les fjords chiliens.
Pour moi, ce voyage sera une super réunion pour tous mes amis après Covid. J'espère que la plupart entre d'eux pourront y aller.
