ニーア
先日、「ニーア・レプリカント」というゲームをプレイし始めた。ドラッグ・オン・ドラグーン」シリーズの外伝でもあるが、前作をプレイしなくても大丈夫だ。2010年ごろPS3とXboxで発売されていたが、その時に、アメリカなどではあまり人気を得なかった。なぜなら、ストーリ―がオリジナルで面白いのに、ゲームプレイが面倒くさくつまらないと思われたらしいのだ。
でも、「ニーア・オートマタ」というレプリカントの2017年の続編がすごく受けがいいために、オリジナル版から11年目になった今年、PS4用のバージョンアップ版が発売されている。
ビデオゲームが好きだったら、きっともうニーアを知っているだろうが、知らない人のためにあらすじを説明したらいいかもしれない。
「ニーア・レプリカント」は、世界中の災いの何千年間後、ファンタジーとSFを混じる設定で、不思議な病気に感染された「ヨナ」という妹を救うために、「白の書」という話せる本と一緒にヨナの兄が治療法を探しに旅行することの話だ。
（2010年のニーアには、主人公をヨナの父にする「ニーア・ゲシュタルト」版も、主人公をヨナの兄にする「ニーア・レプリカント」もあったけど、PS4で発売されたのは「レプリカント」だけだ。ところで、出版社は、アメリカ人などが男らしい主人公だけが好きだと思ったので、今までにも「レプリカント」は日本以外発売されていなかったらしい。）
その一方、2017年の「ニーア・オートマタ」は、たいてい魔法などのファンタジー的な要素を捨てて、人類を守るために作られたアンドロイドが、不思議なエイリアンに地球を攻略するために作られた機械生命体との戦闘の話だ。
ネタバレをばらさないように、これほど言わないけど、この二つのゲームの違いを話したいものだ。（ニーアをまだプレイしきれないけど、インターネットなどだからいろいろなネタバレを聞いたことがある）
ニーアファンに「どちらが一番好き？」と聞いたら、答えがほとんど「オートマタ」だと思う。レプリカントがぜひつまらないわけではないけど、オートマタがさらにいいと思っているのだ。でも、オートマタが嫌いわけではないけど、僕は、ぜんぜん感動しなかった。いろいろな「機械が生きる？」のような哲学的な問題がいっぱいある「オートマタ」は、「レプリカント」に比べたら、脳を楽しませるのに、心にあまり感動しない気がする。だから、「オートマタ」のキャラクターに同情したのに、なんとか僕にとても小さな印象ばかり残った。
（ところで、ニーアの「イニシエノウタ」がすごく好きだ。オリンピックで聞こえたらしい？）

9/30 La vie en lycée
L’Diplôme d'Éducation Secondaire de Hong Kong (DSE) est nommé comme l'examen le plus important pour la jeunesse de Hong Kong parce que cette note détermine quelle étude un étudiant peut faire après le lycée. Les places de l'université sont limitées, surtout pour les études de médicine ou de droit, la sélection est donc très compétitive. En plus, les places qui sont subventionnées par le gouvernement ne sont pas assez pour tout. Si un élève n'a pas de note suffisante pour le programme subventionné et il veut continuer ses études supérieures, il doit payer beaucoup plus cher pour d'autre programme dans les écoles moins prestigieux. Alors, il faut avoir de bonnes notes pour d'être admis dans de "bons" programmes. C'est pour ça que les lycéens étudient dur pour avoir sa place au soleil. Mais bien sûr, ça dépend aussi de la capacité de chaqu'un. Pas tout le monde peut avoir la meilleure note, mais pour la plupart de mes camarades, elles ont toujours fait de son mieux.
Et ça m'a parlé. Pendant les trois ans, le jour est rythmé par les cours, les devoirs et les examens. Ça allait mieux pendant les deux premières années, parce qu'on a encore le temps pour faire des activités extra-scolaires qui m'a appris tellement de choses ! Mais pour la troisème année, il faut mettre la vie entre parenthèses. En plus, on avait toujours un sentiment de culpabilité. Si on n'était pas en train d'étudier, on se disait que nos camarades le faisaient et qu'ils auraient de meilleures notes que nous à l'examen. Cependant, on savait que notre rival n'était pas nos camarades de même école mais les autres, on se dont supportait. D'ailleurs, les profs de mon ancien école étaient très supportives. Ils répondaient à notre questions même il était très tard au soir ou même ils étaient très occupés. Ils le faisaient comme nous étions toujorus leur priorité. Ça m'a touché profondément.
La préparation de l’DSE est inévitablement dur mais ça se passe bien avec des soutenus infinis de profs, des camarades et de proches.

L’enfance interrompue
Aujourd’hui nous avons fêté la petite voisine de quatre ans pour son anniversaire. Il y avait deux amis qui l’ont fêté. Dans nos lotissement il y a trois familles françaises seulement qui les enfants peuvent jouer encore. C’est la bonne chance que nous avons les autres.
Ça me fait penser à les défis pour les enfants qui vont falloir grandir avec la pandémie. Ses mondes n’ont pas le sense de toucher qui fonctionne comme les mondes de ses parents, par exemple. Ils ne doivent pas deviner combien bises on dois faire pour dire bonjour. Tout le monde porte son masque. Et pour les américains de côté d’ouest - comment dire bonjour sans les câlins?
Mais surtout le change qui me trouble le plus c’est les écoles en lignes. Qui parmi nous savons vraiment les pertes qui partentavec l’enseignement en présentiel? Les compétences nuancées d’apprendre et de vivre avec les autres qui les êtres humains toujours apprenaient par les interactions sociales ne sont pas disponibles pour les enfants de nos jour.
Je reconnais vraiment que nous sommes bien situés dans notre coin de Bangkok. Mais j’ai les soucis quand même.

I Got My First Vaccine
I got my first vaccine against COVID-19 last Sunday. There weren't so many people as I expected, so it took only about fifteen minutes. I had had no sleep the previous night at all (what a fool), so I felt fear about possible troubles from it, but there was nothing but a slight pain in my arm after all. The second inoculation is three weeks later. I'll get it with enough sleep then.

2 months ago, I buy 4 stocks.
Actually, I would say after many years of study about investment.
Finally, 2 months ago I suddenly actually put my money into stock market.
The 4 stocks that I buy is blue chip stocks.
The risk of losing money almost zero.
But the surprise news is that one of the stocks go up nearly 20%.
That is a big win!
Am I happy? Yes!
But that is just pure luck!
Even I am full of knowledge about stock market.
The day that I buy this stock I never know it will go up that quickly!
A smart man won’t make a lot of money.
A lucky man will make a lot of money.

The Counselor
I watched "The Counselor" last night. It's a story of a counselor who gets involved with drug smuggling. Finally, his life is ruined due to retribution by a drug cartel. There're a lot of shocking scenes. This movie reminded me of "Sicario" and "The Mule" because their subject is the war on drugs.

I finished reading a book about superstring theory. It's the latest theory of physics. The book is easy to understand. After all physics has a dream. By the way, the opening ceremony of the Olympic games will be held tonight. I was opposed to holding the Olympics, but I will see the opening ceremony.

Dia vinte e três de julho
O próximo país foi a Tailândia.
A visa da Tailândia foi requintada e bonita.
Todas coisas de Tailândia foram barato, e comidas foram saborosas!
Os culturais foram interessante, e pessoas locais foram legal.
Contudo, no dia de viagem, nós encontramos assalto do terrorismo.
Então, nós cancelamos mais lugares de Bangkok.
Que pena!

Le cortan el pelo a una niña en la escuela
Informaron en las noticias sobre un caso de una niña cuya maestra le cortó el pelo durante un día escolar. A los padres les desconcertaron recibir su hija con su peinado visiblemente alterado. Después del descubrimiento denunciaron el incidente al secretario del distrito escolar para que ponga una sanción a la maestra que le hizo eso a su hija. La hija tenía pelo largo y rizado que exhibía sus raíces africanos, por lo cual los padres consideraban que la maestra estaba discriminando contra ella. Sin embargo, tras realizar una pesquisa, el secretario determinó que a pesar de que la maestra violó unos principios de la profesión de educador, no cometió un acto de racismo. Los padres estaban decepcionados, así que buscaron un abogado para apelar la decisión del funcionario.

Да, я обожаю читать! Я получаю огромное удовольствие от книг и, как правило, я читаю два-три книга одновременно. А ещё, я очень много читаю для моей курсовой работы – книги, статьи, рассказы и т.д. Мне нравится большинство из этих материалов, но это работа, а не наслаждение.
Какая последняя книга, которую вам понравилась? Почему?
В прошлые выходные я прочитала роман Бойцовский клуб, и я была в полной восторге от неё. Книга содержит знаменитую фразу: "Первое правила бойцовского клуба…не говорить о клубе". Я была знакома с выражениям, но я ничего не знала ни про книгу, ни про автора. А потом я была в библиотеке и увидела книгу на полке, и я подумала, почему бы и нет? Вот и я пошла домой, начала читать и никак не могла оторваться. Во-первых, сюжет – весьма уникальный и быстро-развивающийся, и во-вторых, случился поворот сюжета близко к концу, которого я совсем не ожидала. Этот роман, по-моему, настоящий шедевр. Я очень рекомендую его!
Какой жанр книг вам больше нравится, и почему?
Обычно я читаю художественную литература. (Я не уверена, хорошо ли перевела эту фразу. На английском, это – "literary fiction", то есть, романы которые не относятся к определённому жанру.) Мне нравятся детективы в теории, но, по моему опыту, многие из них бывают плохо-написанными. Основное исключение – ирландский автор Тана Фрэнч. Её романы просто замечательные. У меня такое же отношение к научной фантастике. Приключенческие романы меня не интересуют, и у меня нет интереса вообще в любовных романов.

Questions are not always right
Should we answer all the questions that are asked? I don’t think we should, but sometimes we are forced to answer poor questions.
When I was in high school, our class had an activity in which we had to write our thoughts about the given question “Which is more important, work or love?,” a related topic to a novel which we were reading. I had to choose one of these, but I answered too sincerely. I chose neither. This is because I didn’t want to make such difficult decisions in my life, and in the novel, you could see such difficult choices coming up way before the protagonist actually had to make a decision. My philosophy of life is that when making a decision between A and B is difficult, there is always option C which is difficult to achieve, but covers the merits of A and B. That’s why I chose neither and wrote that I would do anything possible to avoid such a hard decision. This answer was the option C for me. Of course, I got the lowest score for that, because the point of the task was to answer what our teacher expected us to. I knew that but I couldn’t answer the way he want me to. It was really difficult for me to lie and write something I disagreed.
I don’t think all the questions are worth answering. Some questions are defective. For example, the question “Why does every organism try to sustain its lineage?” is defective, because actually there is no purpose. Organisms which happen to have a tendency to sustain their life have survived. They are not trying to achieve something by surviving, but this question assumes that’s the case. That’s why this question is defective. There are many questions similar to those that I’ve noted above, which assume wrong premises or have too few options. When answering a question, especially a difficult one, please ask yourself, is this worth answering?

Today I saw an interesting topic: why people living in the south are shorter than people who live in the north. According to the author's opinion, there are the following respects: firstly, the high latitude area has long nights, so the northerners can sleep longer, while the southerners do the opposite. Secondly, the northern area produces wheat, and wheat has a longer growing period than rice, so wheat is more nutritious. Therefore, northerners mainly eat wheat so that they can be taller than the southerners who mainly eat rice. Thirdly, the north is colder than the south, so people there need to eat more (and mainly eat beef, mutton and milk) to maintain their fat and calories to keep warm and this leads that they are tall and big, while people in the South not only don't need fat and calories to keep warm because of the hot weather there, on the contrary, they need heat dissipation, and a short body is very good for that. Fourthly, people are also animals. Their bodies evolved naturally to adopt the local climate.

Der Spagat
Ich versuche jetzt eine neue Übung, der Spagat/Split Um einen zu leisten, denkt vielleicht man, dass man sehr flexibel sein muss. Aber das ist nicht wirklich der Fall. Ich habe viele YouTube Videos gesehen, wo Anfänger einen in einem Monat leisten zu machen.
Sie bestehen, dass es gibt ein paar wichtige Punkte, den man folgen muss.
1) Die Dehnübungen sind sehr wichtig. Es ist ratsam, zumindest sich 10 Minuten vor einem Spagat zu dehnen und sich aufzuwärmen.
2) Man muss konstant dehnen und versuchen den Spagat zu machen (täglich). Die meisten Leute schaffen einen kompletten Spagat in wenigstens 30 Tagen, aber das kommt darauf an, wie flexibel man ist oder Sport macht.
3) Der Rest wirkt auch im Spagat aus. Sich erholen spielt auch eine sehr wichtige Rolle und man muss kein Schmerz fühlen, das ist am wichtigsten.
