Los terremotos
Recuerdo el primer terremoto en que estaba. Yo no tenía más que cinco años, y me asustaba mucho. Había estado jugando en el sótano, cuando de golpe todo empezó a temblar. Las luces parpadeaban mientras gateé las escaleras. Entonces mi madre me cogió y nos unimos con todos los vecinos en la calle. Ahora cuando lo pienso, no me teme puesto que había tan mínimo daño. Sin embargo, no creo que me teman los terremotos tanto como sus efectos secundarios, especialmente los tsunamis.
Los hemos experimentado los terremotos a lo largo del tiempo. Hay registros chinos que nos dicen de terremotos en el milenio uno antes de Christo. Sin embargo, dando que los terremotos provienen de los movimientos tectónicos, es razonable que supongamos que han ocurrido por millones y millones de años. No solamente los experimenta la Tierra, sino también otros planetas como Marte y la luna. Y lo más fascinante, en mi opinión, es que aún hay tanto que no sabemos sobre los terremotos. Aunque llevamos tenidos sistemas de medirlos durante miles de años, aún no los podemos predecir.
Al fin y al cabo, los terremotos son fuerzas de naturaleza poderosas, que pueden destruir mucho en un periodo de tiempo corto. Aunque los hayamos adaptado, todavía no los estamos seguros. Lo mejor que podemos hacer es prepararnos.

Dienstag
Heute gab bei der Arbeit ein eigenartiges virtuelles Treffen. Es war gut, meine Kollegen wieder sehen zu können, zumindest in einer virtuell Art von Treffen.
Wir haben sogar ein bisschen Pokar und anderen Kartenspielen gespielt.
Leider gab es auch kein virtuelles Bier, was ich sehr verwirrend fand 😅.

Mein Lieblingsfilm.
Mehr als 20 Jahren vor sah ich einen unvergesslichen Film. Es hieß „Ermittlungen gegen einen über jeden Verdacht erhabenen Bürger“ und steht unter die besten Filme aller Zeit. Die Geschichte handelt sich um einen Polizist, der die Grenze seiner Macht testen wollte. Er lügte, er stahl, sogar mordete er, alles nur zu herausfinden, ob er je erwischt wird. Es ist echt ein erschreckender, fabulöser Film.

Mon premier boulot
Cela fait déjà quelques années que je suis entrée sur le marché du travail. Comme beaucoup d'autres que je connaissais, j'ai commencé à chercher un boulot quand j'étais à l'université, donc j'avais besoin d'un travail où j'aurais pu profiter d'une schedule flexible. Par conséquent, je suis arrivé à trouver un emploi dans une auberge de jeunesse, car j'avais convaincu la gérante que j'étais un personne amical. J'ai bossé là-bas du début de semestre d'hiver jusqu'aux vacances d'été suivante, et pendant cette période, beaucoup de choses se sont passées, et je vais raconter une petite anecdote de ces temps-la.
Il faut souligner que les voisins n'appréciaient pas la proximité de l'auberge à leurs appartements. Il y a eu une fois que je travaillais le poste de nuit, et dans les écrans de nos caméras de vidéosurveillance j'ai réparé que quelques invités se disputaient dans notre cour. Car je savais que ça ne plairait pas les voisins. et donc pourrait m'emmener des ennuis, je suis monté les escaliers (la réception se trouvait dans le souterrain...) et j'ai dit aux impliqués que s'ils voudraient-se battre, ils doivent aller devant la porte, à la rue, pour que quand les habitants de quartier appelleraient des flics je ne serais pas responsable de la bruit de quelque façon. Cependant, ils ont resolu ses problémes de maniere pacifique, et un parmi eux est parti d'auberge la même nuit, tandis que une autre femme m'a fait des excuses pour son comportament.
Je ne pas s'en souciait beaucoup, j'étais seulement un peu fatigué et agacé, j'aurais voulu simplement regarder quelques séries à l'ordinateur de réception, ou glander de quelque autre façon. Je n'avais pas envie de traiter avec des problèmes des personnes plus âgées que moi, mais qui agissaient comme adolescents quand-même. Ils étaient dans la ville pour une convention de tatouage, si je ne m'abuse. Néanmoins, en comparant avec quelques autres mésaventures qui se sont passées là-bas, cet épisode a été presque agréable.
Au fait, quelques années après, une amie avec qui je bossais m'a dit que l'auberge a été vendu, et puis fermé - apparentement, il était illégal de mener l'activité commerciale de hospitalité dans le bâtiment à cause de l'insuffisante sécurité en cas d'incendie, ou quelque chose comme ça. Au entender cette nouvelle, je n'ai été pas du tout surpris...

The Rain
The sky were dark and out of colors, the shadows of the grey clouds surrender the earth, connecting the sky with the ground across the rain, the water touch the floor where humans walks, reclaiming their spot in the earth, making people to run away, trying not to be touch by the rain.
Everyone were inside, escaping of the clouds gift, except for a girl who was outside, standing, cleaning the tables that others has fouled with the help of the rain.

La crise de Coronavirus a bouleversé touts aspects de nos sociétés. Spécialement à l'Ouest, où il devient évident que la confiance à la politique et aux hommes politiques est gravement corrodée. En France, la plupart des citoyens expriment leur méfiance politique et leur sentiment d'avoir être infantilisés. En plus, l'épuisement et la désillusion gagnent le jour.
Les problèmes façant les pays de l'Ouest sont multivariés et sans doute entrelacés. Que la perte de la confiance aux décisions politiques soit la seule! Malheureusement, le manque de perspectives d'avenir s'y ajoute. Si nous trouvons l'idée de la société dans laquelle nous voulons vivre, le sens - dans les deux connotations du mot - de nos quotidiens et de nos vies réapparaîtra.

Diary: Childfree (pt.2)
I'm pretty sad to see these numbers. But I think the main problems come from the policy and the finance.
In policy, we have a one-child policy and a divorce cooling-off period policy. A cooling-off period before divorce, unveiled in a newly released law, means that people need to make an appointment at the relevant department before divorce firstly (because there is a limit on the number of pairs per region) and then have a 30-day cooling-off period before they can actually get divorced. It increases divorce costs. And the one-child policy, has changed into a two-child policy. But this policy still affects people's minds. Because of this policy and the Chinese culture of filial piety, it results in young couples needing to support their parents (4 people), as well as their grandparents (8 people), both materially and spiritually. It's a very heavy burden on their shoulders.

Diary: Childfree (pt.1)
Last week I corrected a journal written in Chinese with the same name as this one, "Childfree." Writing about the situation in Russia. Today I saw some data from China about last year, and I wanted to write it.
In 2020, a total of 10.035 million newborns were born and have been registered with the public security authorities , compared to 14.65 million in the previous year. The number of newborns from 2016 to 2018 is 17.86 million, 17.23 million and 15.23 million. The number of newborns has fallen sharply over the years.
At the same time the number of people getting married is decreasing. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the number of first marriages in mainland China decreased from 23.86 million in 2013 to 15.99 million in 2018 and 13.8 million in 2019, and the number of marriages between the ages of 20 and 24 plummeted from 9.53 million in 2011 to 4.36 million in 2018 and 3.65 million in 2019.

Starenschwärme
Der Star ist ein einzigartiger Vogel. Er ist hübsch, seine schönen Farben im Gefieder sind eine Konsequenz von Irisieren, was von der Struktur der Federn und keine Pigmente stammt. Er ist auch ein kluger Vogel und kann den Klang verschiedener Vogelarten nachahmen. Aber das Coolste über Staren sind die Schwärme, wenn sie gebildet werden, kann man erstaunliche schöne Muster sehen. Wissenschaftlern wissen nicht genau warum sie gebildet werden, aber man glaubt, dass es eine Schutzmaßnahme sein könnte und auch ein Weg, Informationen auszutauschen. Dieses komplexe Verhalten kann simuliert werden, und ich habe sogar einmal mit einem Programm namens BOIDS gespielt.

Wer ist der Dieb?
Hin und wieder essen mein Mann und ich einen Salat mit einer Art Nuss. Um einige Zeit zu ersparen, breche ich die Nüsse einige Stunde vor dem Abendessen in Stücke. Kurz vor dem Abendessen braten wir sie in dem Ofen. Oft, bevor wir sie in den Ofen legen, scheint es wie es gibt weniger Nüsse als ich gebrochen habe. Das heißt, dass einige Nüsse irgendwo gehen müssen. Es macht natürlich Sinn, dass sie gegessen werden waren. Aber von wem? Wer kann der Nussdieb sein?
Ich bin der Nussdieb! ;). Obwohl ich versuche, die Nüsse nicht zu essen, sie sind so winzig und lecker, dass ich nachgeben muss. Ich glaube aber, dass mein Mann anfängt, mich zu ahnen. Darum muss ich in der Zukunft vorsichter sein.
P.S. ich bin auch der Käsedieb :)

Emperor's Birthday 「天皇の誕生日」
February 23rd is a national holiday when the Japanese people celebrate the reign of the present emperor, Emperor Naruhito.
天皇誕生日は、日本の国民の祝日の一つであり、2月23日は現天皇「徳仁」の誕生日です。
This holiday was established in 1948 (Showa 23) after World War II and has continued to the present.
この祝日は、第二次世界大戦後の1948年「昭和23年」から制定されて現在に至っています。
As a general rule, the birthday of the successive Emperors are not holidays, but since the Meiji period, only the birthdays of Emperor Meiji and Emperor Showa still remain as holidays.
原則として先帝誕生日は休日になりませんが、明治時代以降で、明治天皇と昭和天皇の誕生日だけが今でも休日として残されています。
However, the name of Emperor Meiji has been changed to "Culture Day" and that of Emperor Showa has been changed to "Showa Day".

Favourite TV Show
Recently I've been re-watching Doctor Who. It's a British Sci-Fi series dating back to the 1960s. I don't watch a lot of TV but if I must pick a favourite show, Doctor Who would be it. Last time I watched it was during Peter Capaldi's run as the titular Doctor, sometime around 2015, and I only caught up to the 9th season. This time I'm going to start from the beginning of Modern Who again. Actually it's surprising how little I remember from my first time watching. I'm now only at season 2, but there has been many times where I went "No way! Did this actually happen? I have no idea!" I'm wondering: am I lucky in a way because I'm getting to enjoy the show like it's new for the second time? Maybe having bad memory isn't so bad after all.
