I read "Convenience Store Woman" today. The story was interesting but not exhilarating. I felt somehow grotesque. The main character is a sociopath and she is working a part-time job at a convenience store for 18 years. Her all lifestyle is determined by the job. Another main character is a man who hates society. His attitude and behavior were selfish and disgusting. However, I finished reading it without a break, so the book is good.

When I got my drive license, I thought I would be able to hop in the car and start driving nice and good. However, instead of getting more experience with driving the car at slow speed, I drove on a highway which led me to feel pretty nervous about driving in general since my body was not accustomed to high speeds.
From that point on, my legs would shake out of fear even with the mere thought of driving. I acquired my drive license back in 2017, but never really drove with consistency. As the time went by, I began to think that my incapability of driving could keep me from getting the job that I aimed.
So, I decided to build a plan in order to overcome the fear of conducting a vehicle. I started off just by sitting in the driver seat so that the car would become something familiar and not foreign. Over the course of two weeks, I just had sat in the car until I asked my father to help me out with driving. We began slow, and little by little I was driving longer distances.
Since in my country most of the cars have a manual stick, I needed to improve coordination when manipulating the stick. I would occasionally misplace the stick or not step on the clutch properly. But over time this became less often, and I started to drive on highways again.
But only this time, I did not feel the pressure and was doing just fine despite being a little tense. Now, two months down the line, I can tell have no unreasonable fear of driving. With that all being said, I believe the best way to get over a fear is to just gradually face it as you get more comfortable.

Le meilleur arrêt était New Orleans.

Today I read a news that a group of Golden Snub-nosed Monkeys were coming down the mountain to stop cars on the highway. It's not because the environment they living has become better, but feeding food makes wild animals lose their natural fear of people. It adds the possibility of animals be hit by moving vehicles or might try to enter vehicles in search of food. Besides, human foods aren't nutritious enough for animals and may cause serious health problems. Remembered when I was a kid, once I went to the zoo and threw a bag of chips to peacocks to show my love. It sucks. I wish someone would have stopped me back then.

Hi Wolfgang,

Today is China's traditional holiday, the Lantern Festival. Nowadays in cities, there are fewer activities to celebrate. At least for me, it seems that I have never attended any activities related to the lantern festival or learned about activities related to lantern festivals. However, young people may not be in the same situation as mine. When I was a child living in the countryside, the lantern festival brought me a lot of beautiful memories. When lantern festival comes, it means that Chinese New Year's is completely gone, so we usually celebrate it grandly. We bought various fireworks, firecrackers and colorful lanterns. During the lantern festival night, we set off fireworks and firecrackers, and carried a lantern to go with little fellows around the whole village to have fun. The most interesting thing during the festival in my memory is that you always see someone's lanterns catch fire and burn out. You know what? It's because our lanterns then were all made of paper and its core was a burning candle, so those lanterns were really easy to catch fire. The Chinese lantern festival is on the lunar January 15 th. All the activities include setting off fireworks, enjoying various lanterns, solving lantern riddles and eating rice balls and so on, and all these activities are launched at night.

There are many reasons why I want to apply the pre-master programme in International Business at Munich Business School in Germany. Firstly, Germany boasts a superior education system with many qualified teaching resources and universities. Secondly, Germany owns the most advanced technologies, rigorous academic attitude and international exchanging atmosphere. Thirdly, as a prestigious private university for business in Munich, MBS is not only accredited by state but also by German Council of Science and Humanities. And it has always been offering globally minded, entrepreneurial personalities an inspiring and international academic environment to develop into the responsible leaders of tomorrow. Most importantly, the well-designed curricular and various seminar provided by this programme enable me to lay the solid foundation for my future career path. Specifically, in addition to general business administration and courses in international marketing and international finance, it offers specific focal points like Digital Business Management, International Marketing, and Corporate Strategy & Innovation etc., which gives my studies an individual aspect. Besides, with an interdisciplinary structure, the core modules allow me to work on joint projects with students from the other Master’ s programs as well as exchange ideas and experiences. Moreover, by completing the electives, I will round off my profile and set further individual accents.

The other day, I watched the news that a man fell into a hole, which depth was one meter (about three feet), and dead. The hole was in a construction site, so the construction manager was accused of this accident. Because of this accident, I remembered a slogan for safety: "One meter deprives a life." In Japanese, both "one meter (1メートル)" and "deprives a life(一命取る)" are the same pronunciation, so it's catchy. Is there a slogan like this in English?

Recently I learned thata double major and a double degree were completely different, I have thought that the both matters were exactly same. If you study the double major, as a matter of fact, you will obtain a double degree at end. If I considered it, It could be understandable for sure. It's a kind of a piece of cake. Actually, to date, I have never met any person who could implement these double major and double degree at a university in Japan. A unversity in Japan is not so flexible like an Australian university. According to an Australian friend, some Australian university offers a student a double major system and a double degree system and would take only five years to implement them. Five years is not long enough to obtain them, shorter than expected.
Actually, a person with a double degree seems to me so advantageous that a person with a double major to get a job. Obviously, a person with a double degree must get a job much earlier than a person with a single degree. On the contrary, I cannot find any advantage on the person with the double major in Japan. The Australian make an assertion that the person with double major can emphasize it's advantage point agains an employer. Employers in Japan are not interested in an employee's major so much in general.
If you want to be a specialist or want to be a researchers at a labo, at least, it is necessary for you to have a master's degree. You can get any job without previous experience in genaral in Japan. Recently Industrial leaders make a assertion that graduate of university have to have practical knowledge and skills, in accordance with the opinions, there are some universities which can offer students the practical knowledge and skills. In fact, it seems to me that practical knowledges and skills at universities in Japan is clearly behind the times. Nobody dare updated it. There is no excellent leaders at universities and a national consensus on educational systems in Japan.
