Twitter has seen some heavyweight tweeters have a major impact on user dynamics as the user mix has changed: A group of 10% of users posts more than 90% of all tweets. In 2010, an information scientist found from a comprehensive data analysis of all Twitter users that only 22% of uses were following each other, while 68% were not followed by any of the users they were following: "People follow others, not just to be social, but it's to get information. The act of following represents a desire to receive all the tweets that others send. RTs and # buttons is utilized by a small number of users to create trendings, allowing more people to become potential followers. However, the most influential positions are not reserved exclusively for users who create a lot of retweets. In fact, skilled users can also have a substantial impact on a variety of topics, as the researchers conclude: "Influence is not gained spontaneously or accidentally, but through concerted efforts, such as limiting tweets to a single topic. I remember I posted a passage a couple days ago talking about having my car served in a Volkswagen 4 S store. Back then, they said the booster pump tubing was broken. They also said the tubing would cost more than 1700 yuan and the man-hour fee to fix it would cost about more than 400 yuan. I was really shocked when I heard the tubing's price and the man- hour fee, so I didn't fix it. Today I went to a private automobile repair shop to fix that problem. You know what? The accessory fee and man hour fee in total was only 360 yuan. The 4 S store is really black-hearted. After listening to my story, do you still dare to go there to fix cars?

Recently, I have really tried during a day.
I assume that it is caused by spring fever.
When I swum or rode my bicycle , I could get rid of spring fever.
But it isn't possible now because of COVID-19.
I try to take a walk more than one hour and eat vitamin supplements.
However, those are not enough to overcome.
I hope my body adjusts the temperature soon.

There are two main points to help me understand Korean culture.
First of all, the professor will show us some videos of eating, drinking and having fun in Korea in class on YouTube, it's worth noting that it's not local to introduce, but from the perspective of foreigners, which will make me feel more empathetic.
Second, I will encounter some difficult nouns in learning Korean. The professor will not only write them in Chinese, but also insert rich pictures to help us understand them. Generally collocation of a word is not less than two pictures, especially when explaining t-money, use nine pictures! At the same time, we shared our experiences and preferences, which deepened our memory.

In the seminar, when professors introduce different cultures, they will have different personal style besides using YouTube video. For example, when introducing Belgian culture, Professor Felicity will compare Belgium's prices with the prices of Hong Kong. When it comes to the pronunciation of numbers, Felicity will flexibly use French pronunciation for comparison. When we understand Belgium's pronunciation, we also understand some words in French. When another professor explained FLAMENCO, She demonstrated how to perform directly on zoom!

It's been a year since the COVID outbreak shook our lives. So far, we all have experienced changes in our lifestyle, mainly in the cities.
I must admit that despite the shocking situation there are some social benefits:
- Criminal activity has slowed down.
- Less traffic, due to digital working.
- Noise pollution seems to improve. We can hear birds singing.
- Since tourist attractions are not crowded and consequently locals can enjoy them.
In the other hand, new problems arose related to general wellbeing:
- Food delivery services have increased and unfortunately some bicycles/scooters are invading pedestrian areas.
- Because of the price, common people struggle to find a house in my city. Small ones are affordable but they become claustrophobic in times of difficulties.
Today I've read in newspaper that 3 of each 10 persons declared they would like to leave behind the city to settle down in the countryside.
It's clear that despite the advantages (plenty of services and shops, huge cultural offer, etc.) cities can be harsh.
I hope that we will see an evolution in the future that leads us to sustainable and fair society.

Souvent je me sens bloqué.

I'm aiming for scoring 4.5 in the GRE analytical writing session. Please make a judgement of my essay and teach me how to revise it. Thanks a lot.
Prompt:
The following appeared in a letter to the editor of Parson City's local newspaper.
"In our region of Trillura, the majority of money spent on the schools that most students attend — the city-run public schools — comes from taxes that each city government collects. The region's cities differ, however, in the budgetary priority they give to public education. For example, both as a proportion of its overall tax revenues and in absolute terms, Parson City has recently spent almost twice as much per year as Blue City has for its public schools — even though both cities have about the same number of residents. Clearly, Parson City residents place a higher value on providing a good education in public schools than Blue City residents do."
Write a response in which you discuss what specific evidence is needed to evaluate the argument and explain how the evidence would weaken or strengthen the argument.
My Essay:
In the prompt, the author argues that Parson City residents pay more attention to the education quality in public schools than Blue City residents do. The author mentions Parson City spends more tax revenues on education than Blue City, both as a proportion and in absolute terms. However, three weaknesses remain before the author's claim holds water.
To begin with, although the author claims that two cities have nearly the same number of populations, s/he doesn't mention the constituents. It is possible that Blue City has much more elders and fewer adolescents than Parson City. Under this circumstance, the residents in Blue City will ask for fewer education chances than residents in Parson City. Therefore, the difference between the money they spend on public schools can't lead to the difference between the importance they attach to education. Blue City just suffer less pressure of offering public education. It may spend more money on medical care instead.
Even though the two cities have almost the same number of adolescents, the situation changes if there are students from other regions. Public schools in Parson City may enjoy better reputations so there will be tremendous students from other cities, maybe Blue City, come there seeking education. These students will not contribute to the city's population because they will go back to their home town after school. Therefore, Parson City will have more students than Blue City thus definitely spend more money on public schools.
Moreover, the development of public schools in two cities may at different stages, resulting in the difference between the budgetary priorities of the two cities. Most public schools in Parson City possibly are under construction and need lots of money for the buildings and equipment while Blue City may already has a very complete education system. So Blue City's only concern is the daily expense at maintenance and salaries paid to the employees. Therefore, Blue City spends less money than Parson City on public schools.
In conclusion, the author fails to prove that residents in Parson City residents place a higher value on providing public schools than Blue City residents do. Unless s/he makes clear that the constituents of two cities' populations are similar, the number of students are similar, and the number of schools under construction are similar, the author's opinion is open to criticism.

My language exchange partner is no more than an American freak, but he can speak Japanese as if he was a Japanese. He is an American-born Chinese, and he used to watch Japanese anime all day long every day, since a mere child. Now he can speak Japanese without foreigners 's accents. Lately, to my surprise, he said to me in a casual manner. He sometimes thought in Japanese while he was working in a lab. When his colleagues said something to him, he noticed colleagues seemingly speak in English. He seemed not to be able recognize his colleagues were speaking English at first.
Thinking something in Japanese in daily life doesn't mean It became like a mother tongue, does it's? Is it really true? Though he can speak Japanese like a Japanese, while I am speaking to English native speakers, I also think in English otherwise, I cannot follow English conversation. Without thinking in English, I totally cannot catch up very fast English conversation at all. If what he said to me is really true, I really wish to know his secret to be able speak like a native speaker.
