Las estaciones
Vivo en California, donde el clima suele ser bastante templado. Yo lo considero una bendición, ya que nunca tengo que conducir en la nieve, hay poca humedad y siempre hace frío por las noches, incluso el verano. Pero, dicho esto, todavía prefiero el otoño y el invierno. La lluvia es tan bonita que no me molesta mojarse cuando voy afuera, y las tormentas tienen una belleza casi poética. (Hace unos años leímos la obra teatral "King Lear" en la escuela y desde entonces, veo mucho simbolismo en el tiempo.)
La niebla también me gusta. Me hace pensar en Hogwarts o Escocia. Desafortunadamente, llueve aquí, pero no muy a menudo. Otra sequía acaba de empezar, y se recomienda reemplazar los céspedes con césped artificial para ahorrar agua.
Ahora es junio, obviamente, y hace un calor terrible (más de cien grados a fahrenheit). Normalmente no me gusta encender el aire acondicionado, pero acabo de mirar el termostato y vi que hace 78 grados adentro. El verano apenas ha comenzado, y ya estoy esperando el otoño.

Je porte les vêtements bleus le plus souvent !
Je pense le couleur que je porte le plus souvent est bleu. Je crois que les vêtements bleus sont très chic et aller avec tous les choses. Particulièrement, les jeans bleus ! Après tout, il faut qu'on aie à moins un jean bleu, n’est-ce pas ? Aussi, plus métaphorique, le couleur de bleu représente un essence de calme, tranquil et sympa. Le bleu est un parti de la vie quotidienne, à mon avis.

Mon Nouveau Appartement
J'ai déménagé a une nouvelle ville le mois passée. Le chose plus important quand on déménage est l'appartement ou maison dont on restera. J'ai cherche pour un appartement pour quelques mois et j'ai pense que maintenant j'ai trouve l'appartment idéal. Premièrement, le quartier est jolie et près de le canal. Les gens ici sont jeunes mais ils ne sont pas étudiants. Il y a beaucoup de restaurants, des parcs et un chemin a cote de le canal. Aussi, les gens consistent de francophones et anglophones. Aussi, l'appartment a deux étages. Il n'est pas un appartement grand meme si c'est utile d'avoir un étage pour dormir et un étage different pour travailler, cuisiner et se relaxer avec les amis. Finalement, l'appartment et le location et ideal pour ma chienne. Elle est petite alors il y a beaucoup d'espace pour elle. Il y a un petit chemin avec des arbres juste a cote de l'appartement ou nous promenons. C'est une bonne place d'avoir un domicile!

Las fiestas juninas
Solo faltan tres días hasta que sea el veintiuno de Junio. Me pone un poco triste que no celebremos las fiestas juninas en Estados Unidos, especialmente porque son muy importantes en muchos lugares. Tal vez sea porque tenemos nuestra propia fiesta en el cuatro de Julio. También es posible que la gente dejara de practicarlo cuando inmigró aquí. Durante mucho tiempo (y desafortunadamente aún hoy en día), las fiestas ajenas se despreciaban. Sin embargo, aunque no tengamos celebraciones grandes acá, en los países escandinavos, como la Noruega y Suecia, hay fiestas por todas partes.
Como muchas otras tradiciones antiguas, las fiestas juninas, al menos en países como la Irlanda, Noruega y Suecia, son de origen pagano. A pesar de esto, como ya lo sabes, esto no le haya parado a la gente de celebrarlo. Muchas veces, la Iglesia Católica, además de muchas otras iglesias, han intentado terminar estas celebraciones una vez por todas, pero no tenían éxito. No es de extrañar, la verdad, ya que es muy difícil convencerles a las personas que necesitan dejar de hacer algo que han hecho durante siglos, si no milenios. Sencillamente, no va a tener éxito. Aunque a veces creamos que la cultura se cambia sin fin, la realidad es que hay muchos aspectos de nuestras culturas que son muy antiguos. A pesar de que se cambia constantemente, es muy difícil destruir una cultura, lo cual creo es bien para todos.

Meine letzte einkaufsliste
In meinem letzten einkaufsliste waren vielen Dings. Zuerst, Muss ich vielen Milchprodukten kaufen. Ich kaufe vier oder sechs Stücke Johgurt, sechs Stücke Quark (5% Fett), und frische Milch (3% Fett). Manchmal kaufe ich auch Mozzarella. Ich kaufe auch Preiselbeeren und verschidene Obst und Gemüse. In meinem letzten einkaufsliste waren auch Gniocchi und Pizza für meinem Mann.

Meine Lieblingbücher
Eines meiner Ziele für dieses Jahr, ist ein Buch pro Woche zu lesen. Das habe ich bisher geschafft. Einiger meiner Lieblingsbücher sind: 1984 von George Orwell; Rayuela von Julio Cortázar; und Cien años de soledad (Hundert Jahre Einsamkeit) von Gabriel García Márquez. Ich mag lange Bücher zu lesen, weil ich finde, dass gut strukturierte Geschichten besser sind als kürzere.
1984 handelt von ein Paar, das gegen ein Regime ist, in eine utopische Welt. Das Ende des Buches war meine Lieblingsstelle (das werde ich nicht hier spoile).
Rayuela handelt von ein Mann, der sich für Kultur interessiert. Er ist aus Argentinien, aber er wohnt jetzt in Frankreich. Er hat eine Geliebte, die ein Kind hat. Ein tragisches Ereignis eintritt, und er kommt zurück nach Argentinien. Es ist eine sehr interessante Geschichte, denn man kann das Buch auf tausend verschiedene Arten lesen.
Cien años de soledad handelt von eine sehr größe Familie, die in ein kleines Dorf wohnt. Eigentlich, sie haben das Dorf gegründet. Ich finde, dass dieses Buch sehr unterhaltsam ist, aber verwirrend auch.

Juneteenth
Tomorrow is likely to be a newly established federal holiday in the U.S. after being signed by the President. This is very sudden in that Just after signing it, the very commemorating date will start soon. But as a person trading in the U.S. stock, I am happy to take a holiday. I can go shopping and study something such as English.
A year or so earlier, I said about Juneteenth in an online conversation. But, the reaction was I should say it June tenth. And today, a woman announcer even probably from the U.S. also first took a mistake calling it June tenth. Yes, this is an absolutely confusing word because it is held in June 19th lol
I incorporated a gold into my portfolio, while adding other aggressive hedges, however selling a hedge against Russell completely.

El problema con los cursos de idioma en las escuelas
Yo creo que la manera en la que las escuelas enseñan los idiomas es una receta para el fracaso en muchos casos, ya que al enseñar a fuerzas cosas que no les interesen a los estudiantes y acompañándolas con exámenes que a menudo no tienen nada que ver con la habilidad de comunicar, lo único que los estudiantes logran aprender es el pavor al idioma, ya que asocian el estrés de los exámenes y la tarea con el proceso de aprender idiomas. Lo mismo está pasando con las clases de español para comenzantes en mi escuela, ponen demasiado énfasis en las puntuaciones y los exámenes, y nunca aprenden ni a hablar ni a querer hablar. Por lo tanto, estoy desarrollando un curso de japonés para usar en mi prepa el próximo año, centrado en lenguaje coloquial, y en demostrar al estudiante como aprender por sí mismo lo que quiere aprender, y en vez de enseñar la gramática usando términos lingüísticos, enseñarla por varias oraciones de ejemplo, parecido a lo que hace Tatoeba, el proyecto al que pertenezco. No me gusta cómo el japonés siempre se enseña de una manera formal, rigida e sistematica. Entiendo que en muchos casos es necesario saber cómo poder tratar a los superiores en situaciones de negocio o la escuela, pero fuera de eso, aprender vocabulario que parece que nunca van a tener que usar se les hace una pérdida de tiempo, y se desinteresan, y por eso quiero hacer el idioma más relevante para ellos, y tomar ventaja de sus intereses que tienen que ver con el uso del idioma.

Mi lista de las compras
Ya no tengo mi última lista de las compras, así que voy a escribir sobre mi lista de las compras actual.
He escrito que necesito cebollas, mozzarella, arroz y guisantes, y solamente los he escrito así que no olvido comprarlos. Este finde mi esposo y yo vamos a ir a un viaje pequeño. Por eso no escribí más cosas porque no voy a ir de compras hasta el lunes y tengo tiempo para pensar que quiero cocinar. Pero voy a comprar más de que había escrito. Por ejemplo, tengo que comprar más verduras y tal vez pollo o pesca.

A Movie Review
The last movie I saw was My Octopus Teacher which won the Oscar for best documentary this year.
It’s about a South African filmmaker who after filming and working with a tribe in the heart of Africa feels a strong call to reconnect with nature. So, he turns to the ocean and starts to go free dive regularly.
He becomes obsessed with an octopus and decides to visit and film the octopus’ life and routine for a year.
They start to bond as he establishes this connection with this marine animal without interfering in its habitat or routine. Trust me you can learn so many things from observing closely.
Did you know that an octopus' lifespan is about one year?
It’s very short.
The movie is fascinating and very moving. So, if you are an emotional person like I am, I advise you to have your Kleenex box at hand. You will definitely need it.

We would like to improve the information for new students on our college website. At present, the website has lots of factual information about courses. We would like to include more advice for new students.
We would appreciate your views on topics such as study skills, living in a new city, dealing with finances and making new friends. Please write to the website director, explaining what sort of advice new students might find useful.
Dear Sir or Madam,
It is a pleasure to contribute with some of my thoughts to your college newsletter magazine.
As I have been a student myself at your renewed institution I suppose I can offer some useful tips and interesting suggestions to freshman students.
Although moving to a new city can be seen as something exciting, it’s essential to feel safe and do a quick research about the city before taking the leap.
Students might be curious to know about the city’s cost of living, weather, food, and how they can get around. It’s also critical to make sure they bring enough money to get by at the beginning. Not only will this help students settling down faster but it will also provide them sufficient time to learn how to deal with their finances.
In addition to feeling comfortable during the semester, students might encounter some difficulties getting used to their new college schedules. Providing students with some great studying tips such as how to organize their study time, establishing a health study routine, and learning how to take clear, concise, and organized notes in class will definitely make their first semester more relaxing.
After so much study it is time to unwind, students might find it very handy to get some information about the college's surroundings and the most famous places to have some enjoyable time with their new friends. Something that might help is offering a tour of the city upon arrival.

Juin I7ėme, 2021 « Le café chelou »
Aujourd'hui je me suis réveillée à 10h et demi grâce à hier où je me suis couchée à 2h ... En tous cas ce matin, papa m’a fait du café au lait avec du chocolat en poudre. Au début, il goûtait génial mais après quelques instant, le goût à commencé à devenir un peu bizarre. Pas bizarre dans le sens d’amertume ( car ça c’est normal ) mais il a commencé à goûter assez aigre. J’ai regardé en bas dans la tasse en grimaçant. Puis, j’ai crié à mon papa « Pourquoi ce café est si aigre ? - Ah ? Il a répondu - Ouais, reviens et goût-le » Après avoir pris une petite gorgée, il a froncé les sourcils. « Peut-être notre lait a tourné ? - Mais on vient de l’acheter ! - Je sais, ah je trouve ça bizarre, tiens, essaye ce café sans lait. » L’instant que j’ai avalé la liquide sombre, je savais ... c’était le café tout ce temps ! Notre café à expiré mais ne t’inquiète pas. Tout va bien maintenant et personne est morte haha. On a fini par ouvrir un nouveau sac de café à torréfaction moyenne ( le meilleur ) et maintenant le goût est formidable !

Negli ultimi messi è stato annunciato dal propio dittatore del paese che c'era una mancanza di risorse, qualcosa che ha sorpreso il mondo, dal momento che di solito non lasciava male notizie, in modo di preservare la sua reputazione e anche la del paese, anche se sappiamo che non c'è per quanto riguarda l'ultima.
Personalmente credo che prima o poi la dittatura si crollerà. È non sarebbe da forze esterne, piuttosto dei cittadini. Già bastava che alle famiglie mancasse la libertà. Ora con la mancanza di cibo, non potranno nemmeno sopravvivere, a causa delle imminenti fami. Nel caso dei lavoratori, senza materia prima non potranno lavorare, implicando che non avranno un lavoro. Non dobbiamo sottovalutare la potenza della forza collettiva dei cittadini.

Quali cose ci sono state nella tua ultima lista della spesa?
Vivo ancora con i miei e per questo faccio raramente la spesa. Però gli dico sempre i cibi che vorrei da comprare loro. Per esempio, mi piacciono molto ogni tipo di tagliolini: la pasta, il udon, la soba, e specialmente il ramen. Lo mangiamo spesso per pranzo o cena. Mi piace anche il gelato, ma i miei non lo comprano spesso perché pensano che sia troppo malsano.

Zeitreise
Als ich ein Kind war, hatte ich manchmal ein wirklich seltsames Gefühl, wie ein Gefühl der Existenz oder des Bewusstseins oder so. Ein Gefühl so wie "ich bin hier, ich existiere, das passiert jetzt". Vor ein paar Tagen schien mir dieses Gefühl zurückgekommen zu sein. Es ist seltsam zu erkennen, dass wir uns ständig durch die Zeit bewegen.

Progreso con estudios de mandarín
Hoy es la séptima mes que he estudiado mandarín. ¡Wow, el tiempo has pasado muy rápido! Estoy agradecida por la oportunidad para reconectar con mi cultura.
Muchos estudiantes que tienen un fondo de herencia lamentan que su mandarín han deteriorado después de ellos no practicar esta lengua por un rato.
Ahora yo estoy tratando mejorar mi mandarín con el método que se llama "language stacking". Empecé usar este método para explicar algunos conceptos o palabras de mandarín en español.

Letzter Einkaufszettel
Mein letzter Einkaufszettel hatte viele verschiedene Dinge darin. Ich habe gerade Besucher, also kaufe ich mehr als üblich. Ich habe viele Essen gekauft, die ich keine Ahnung habe, wie sie auf Deutsch heißen, einschließlich Gemüse, Brot, und Fleisch. Ich habe auch Nachtisch und Port gekauft. Port ist eine Art von Wein aus Portugal, die sehr stark und auch süß ist.
Seit der Coronakrise, habe ich gelernt, Einkaufen und Kochen zu lieben. Es ist etwas albern, aber ich bin immer quasi begeistert, einkaufen zu gehen
