IELTS Writing Part 2
Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
My article:
Some people think that governments should prefer to invest more on roads rather than railways. In my own opinion, I don't think it is a good idea.
Firstly, I think roads are more flexible than railways. They can easily go through not only cities but also towns, while railways can't. Furthermore, roads are more suitable for people's daily life. For example, people can drive a car in the road, or they can take a bus, even they can ride a bike. On the contrary, people can't do such things on railways. Also, constructing railways need more room than roads, which is rare in the big cities. Besides, I think it is much harder for building railways than roads.
Secondly, I think the cost of roads construction is cheaper than railways. For instance, when we have built a railway, we need trains, which will cost more. Besides, if few people take the train rather than the bus, the income won't match the require of the railway maintance. Furthermore, while the public transport is not full used, there will be energy waste, which is bad for the environment. What's worse, if there is an accident on railways, it will be fairly enconvinient for people, especially during the workdays.
In conculsion, I disagree that the money from governments should put on railways than on roads. I think roads will be used more than railways because it thr roads are more convinient. I also think that the roads cunstruction will cost less than the railways do.

Jour 35 : Disney +
Je ne suis ni fan de télévision ni de drama, mais j'aime toujours les films de Disney. Comme j'ai toujours manqué du temps pour aller au cinema pour les regarder ou bien c'était très cher pour emmener tous membres de la famille au cinema dans le temps auparavant, il y a quelques films que j'aimerais bien voir mais n’avais pas encore de l’occasion, comme « La Belle et le Bête», «Soul»...... J'ai donc hâte de commencer sur Disney +. Il nous permet d’économiser beaucoup. En plus, comme il peut choisir le français comme narration, je pense que ce serait une bonne chance pour m'entrainer de compréhension oral !

Convaincre quelqu'un
(Le nouveau proviseur a décidé d'annuler le voyage scolaire car il considèree que c'est une sortie coûteuse et inutile. Au nom des élèves de votre classe, écrivez une lettre au provisuer de défendre l'intérêt de ce voyage et tenter de le faire changer d'avis.)
Au nom des élèves de ma classe, je vous écris en réaction d'annulation de ce voyage scolaire.
Je comprends que ce voyage est cher car c'est un voyage qui dura pendant une semaine. Le prix y compris l'hébergement et l'alimentation, mais sachez que notre classe a organisé une petite équipe pour récolter l'argent. Cette équipe peut gagner presque 3000 euros par mois. Avec cette quantité d'argent, je ne pense que ce sera un problème sur l'aspect financier. Je pense aussi l'annulation des billets et des réservations d'hôtel sont aussi très coûteuse l'établissement.
Toutefois, ce qui nous étonne le plus est que vous considérez ce voyage est inutile. Pour les jeunes ici, les voyages sont un important événement pour qu'ils puissent connaissent plus le culture de France ou même connaître plus d'amis pendant le voyage. Le voyage est aussi le meilleur moyen de perfectionner la connaissance de la langue et aussi connaître l'histoire de la langue et du pays. C'est une chance pour eux d'apprendre plus. Si vous pensez que ce voyage est inutile, veuillez-vous réconsidérer.
Avec ces raisons, nous aimerons vous convaincre de maintenir le voyage à la fin de l'année en France.

I prefer to give gifts
I prefer to give gifts, because I love the feeling of helping others.
I hope I am valuable to society. I need more sense of belonging.
People can still find a sense of worth and belonging with time. Some are lucky to find it, but not everyone can find it. Most people only keep looking until they die.
This comes from a story in Natsume's Book of Friends. It is a story about a snowman who finds something he has forgotten. If he finds it, he will die. But the snowman doesn't fear death. He also thinks humans can find something in their life as well. The difference is that humans may not find it until their death.
Death isn't a terrible thing. It is a transmigration of life. Humans are similar to glasses and flowers in the earth. Mother Earth gave birth to us. We all return to the dust.

Weihnachten
Als ich ein junges Mädchen war, freute ich mich wirklich sehr auf Weihnachten. Ich machte mich keine Sorgen dafür. Leider ist das heutzutage nicht so wahr. Manchmal kann Weihnachten sogar stressiger als fröhlich sein! Man muss viel Zeit verbringen, um die richtige Geschenke zu finden, kaufen und verpacken, ohne irgendwer oder irgendetwas zu vergessen. Außerdem sind die Leute rund sich oft so angespannt wie man selbst, die kann zu Problemen führen. Nichtsdestotrotz gibt es andere Dingen, worauf man sich freuen kann. Zum Beispiel ist es ein wundervolles Gefühl, wann man sieht, dass jemand genießt etwas, was man sie gegeben hat!

Writing Practice
To be honest, I never watch TV shows, but I do watch some short English videos to improve my English skills. I used to try to watch movies and TV shows to improve my English, but I found that is not the best way for me. Let me take movies as an example. Actors in movies sometimes don't speak too much, so I have to wait to listen to them. Besides, movies usually have strong background music, which to language learners is just noise. When they say something, they all say it too fast and not clearly, and sometimes they say it too short or too long, so I don't think watching movies is a good way to learn languages. As for TV shows, I think it's mostly the same situation as movies. I think everyone knows the app Tiktok, but they might not know its Chinese version Douyin (In a normal situation, Chinese people are not allowed to use Tiktok, unless you have special IT technology). I have both of them, but most of the time I use Douyin. Many English teachers have a Douyin account and they make English videos there regularly. Those videos usually last only a few minutes and cover various fields. I also have some professional English learning apps, but I rarely use them because I think they have some disadvantages. For example, one of those disadvantages is that they are usually too long, so you can easily get bored. But if you watch English videos on Douyin, you will never get bored. First, they are not so long, so they will stop before you get bored. Second, they are made by different teachers, so they have different styles. Third, they cover a wide range of different fields. Fourth, all those videos have subtitles. Fifth, you can stop them with a light tap at anytime you want. These five features don't get learners bored but bring them enjoyment. Therefore, when you learn English on Douyin or Tiktok, time flies and you never feel bored.

I accidentally spill coffee on the table and the cup fell down on the floor smash into pieces.
So, best way to start “big house cleaning” and I get to buy a new cup too.

Существуют разные определения выражения "world language/мировой язык". Я это отпределяю языки, которые говорятся на некоторых континентах (вне начальных культурных зон родных носителей) и у которых большое значение в дипломации, экономике, обучении и в научных областях. По этому, можно классифизировать без никакого сомнения только единственный язык в эту категорию: английски. Испански, арабски, французски могут быть мировые языки, даже если вазность этих языков в научном мире не может совраниваться с важностью английского.
Например, я немного говорю на персидском и хинди, которые родные языки миллионов людей, а у них почти нет значительного влияния вне стран, где их носители живут. Даже в южной Индии, много людей не говорят по-хинди, который язык северной Индии. Они предпочитают английски когда им надо использовать лингва франка.
Русский язык - всё ещё лингва франка зоны бывшего Советского Союза, но я совсем не бы описал русский язык как "mainstream", хотя его популярность начинает увеличивать в иностранных университетах. Здесь во Франции, очень редко столнуться с кем-то, который умеет поддерживать разговор на русском. Для многих, это трудный язык. Более того, у русских (и у славянских в общем) есть репутация "чемпионов языков". Французы считают, что русские изучают очень просто все языки, и что каждый человек в России свобоно говорит на 4, 5 языках, так, они не понимают полезность выучить "трудный русский язык".
Я решил учить русский язык по личным причинам, и решение мне очень удовлетворяет. Я жалею, что большинство интересуется только широко распростанёнными языками, но это так. Люди свобоны, и никто не может их заставлять.

Un Día en una Vida de un Estudiante de Español
¡Hola! Soy Turtle Roll, y soy de Estados Unidos. Acabo de terminar mi primer trimestre de "Repaso de Español Básico" (y otras clases), y ahora estoy disfrutando de mi descanso de invierno. ¡Gracias a Dios!
He estudiado español por tres años en escuela secundaria, pero todavía no me siento muy seguro en mi oratoria de español y... bueno, nada más. Usted puede ver que estoy "escribiendo" español en la pantella, pero ese es todo. Aun hoy, estoy usando un diccionario para escribir este diario.
Es un esfuerzo para mí porque al final del día, quiero aprender Tagalog. Es mi lengua nativa, y es un parte de mi familia. Deseo que mi universidad tenga una clase para este, pero dudo que la escuela vaya a hacerlo.
Bueno, tengo una clase de español para este trimestre, y otra más para el próximo trimestre. Espero que escriba español sin usando un diccionario (y empieza aprender Tagalog algún día). Dígame si me fue bien para mi primer diario, y no puedo esperar para escuchar su feedback.

D'abord, je voudrais m'excuser à tous les correcteurs qui m'ont corrigée la semain dernière. Je suis maintenant au Japon, saine et sauve, mais classée comme cas contact avec mon mari, et confinée pendant 14 jours. Je serai libre après le 1 janvier.
Il y a beaucoup de règles à suivre, des applications à installer, ce qui est fatigant. Je voudrais écrire à propos de cela demain, et répondre aux corrections et aux commentaires.

ありふれたやるべきこと
長くて苦しい授業が終わったら、何をしたいだろうか。私はベッドに飛べ込みたい。着たコート、散っているゴミ、洗わないお皿を気にせずに、休みたいと思うばかりだ。時間がたつと、このような ”やるべきこと” がだんだんあふれていってしもうだろう。この問題はなかなか解けないだろう。
ではなぜ、タスクあたり5分ぐらいかかるのに、すぐやって休めるのではないだろうか。仮にそんなに簡単としたら、みんなは経営者になってしまうにちがいない。実は、人間は思ったより複雑な生き物だ。人によって言い訳は同じではないだろうが、私はやるべきかというと、やるべきだが、ただ 「時間がかかる」と思って、嫌だ。
昨日まで来ると、「五分法則」という仕事効率化の方法を見かけた。それはタスクが5分でやれるなら、すぐやった方が積もらないという助言なのだ。例えば、ゴミ袋を捨てるに必要な時間は5分に過ぎないだろう。だから、今すぐやって。
もう一つの方法は、「復活のタスク」のリストを作成することだ、すなわち、そのような小さいタスクを収集して、一度にやるつもりで、リストを作ることなのだ。こうして、暇なときに全部やれるが、家事のようなことをしていると思われ、時間がかかると思わないだろう。
みんなはこういった退屈なやるべきことがあるだろう。私たち自身がやらなければ、誰かが手伝ってくれると思わずに、すぐやろう。

A Fruit
Today I am going to talk about my favourite fruit. In general, I like all the fruits, for that, always I have thought that they are a gift from the Gods. The fruit that I love is the lychee. It is small, round, and with a red, rough, and slim skin. The inside is white and sweet with a brown bone in the center. The taste is some mixture among pineapple and peach. At the end of year, in december, normally I go to the market of the Boqueria in Barcelona. It is a beautifuy market to walk and buy something, for example lychees.
