Voyager en avion
Pour mes vacances avec mes parents la semaine dernière, on n'utilise pas d'avion parce qu'on voyage toujours en Grande-Bretagne à cause de nos chiens. Le trajet en voiture a duré envrion sept heures mais ce n'est pas grave parce que j'ai utilisé mon portable et fait un peu de crochet pour passer du temps.
Avec mon lycée, j'ai voyagé en avion en juin pour visiter Ténérife. Bien sûr, on a dû utiliser l'avion parce que Ténérife est une île près de l'Afrique. J'ai adoré le voyage et un jour je voudrais revisiter l'île. Peut-être, après une ou deux années de l'université où j'éspère d'apprendre l'espagnol (et le français et le russe!).

Une Relation toxique
Il y a beaucoup de signaux avec qu'on peux remarquer si on est dans une relation toxique. Par exemple on est toujours prêt d'aider la personne mais elle ne voudrait pas faire la même pour vous. On a l'air de pas être respecte par cette personne. Elle vous ranconte ses problème plusier de fois cepedant elle n'est pas prêt d'entendre le nôtre. En outre on a peur de la rencontrer, par exemple au chemin d'ecole si on la voit notre ventre fait mal ou quelque chose de cette manière.

Hospitalidad
Yo soy un árabe.
Pues, mitad árabe. Mi padre es árabe y mi madre es güera. Pero yo usualmente me describo como un árabe porque es más fácil. Además, a mucha gente le interesa cómo usted es diferente más que cómo usted es similar.
Bueno, como un (mitad) árabe, yo tomo muy en serio hospitalidad. Si usted entra mi casa, se voy a ofrecerse unas comidas, unas bebidas, unos regalos, un lugar para volver a cargar sus aparatos… Si lo tengo, hasta podría ofrecerse una bebida alcohólica, ¡y no bebo alcohol!
Si usted declina, voy a sentirme culpable. En serio. Hace un momento, dos conocidos me visitaron en casa. Ellos rechazaron todas mis ofertas. Yo sé que es extraño, pero aún me siento culpable. Konvergente Evolution
Für meine Biologie Klasse in der Schule studiere ich viele wissentschaftliche Begriffe und Phänomene, insbesondere die, die mit der Evolution verbunden sind. Evolution ist sehr wichtig, weil es eine Klasse für Anfänger am Universitätsniveau ist. Tatsächlich bin ich noch eine Schülerin, aber meine Schule bietet einige "Dual Enrollment" Klassen an, die man erlauben, Kredit für das Gymnasium und die Universität gleichzeitig zu verdienen. Ein Phänomen, worüber ich und meine Mitschüler neulich gelesen habe, ist konvergente Evolution. Es erklärt quasi, warum zwei ganz unterschiedliche Organismen sich entwickeln können, sodass sie sehr ähnlich aussehen, obwohl sie gar nicht verwandelt sind. Es kommt vor, weil die Organismen in sehr ähnlichen Habitaten wohnen und dieselbe Nische füllen. Natürlich haben sie dann auch sehr ähnliche Merkmale entwickelt.

El nuevo sencillo
Hace unos meses, la cantante pop Rina Sawayama lanzó un nuevo sencillo llamado "This Hell" de su segundo disco. Desde su lanzamiento, me he quedado pensando en cuánto la admiro por haber escrito la canción. La letra nos demuestra la importancia de la comunidad en un mundo que hace que sea difícil tener un sentido de pertenencia para las minorías. En concreto, la canción trata sobre las dificultades a las que se enfrenta la comunidad LGBTQ hoy en día. Además, el pegajoso sencillo es una buena representación de su estilo, que incorpora elementos de diferentes géneros, como R&B y nu metal. Nunca pensé que me gustaría una canción country-pop, pero la he cantado tantas veces que me la sé de memoria. No veo la hora de escuchar el resto del disco cuando llega septiembre.

Une vieille dame excentrique
Il y a une vielle dame qui habite près de chez moi. Elle a environ 90 ans cette année, mais elle est très forte, elle se débrouille très bien, même mieux que les certains jeunes que je sais. Elle fait du vélo tous les jours pour faire les courses, elle cuisine et elle fait la vaiselle soi-même. Elle fait le ménage soi-même tous les week-ends. Son émission de télévision préférée est WWE – une programme de lutte. Quelle dame excentrique! D’un côté, j’espère que je puisse être comme elle quand j’aurai son âge. Par contre, je ne veux pas être comme elle parce qu’elle est très méchante!

Role of computers in human life
Some people think computers are making everyone lazier. Whereas others believe these devices provide notorious benefits in human life. I, myself, agree with the latter. Computers have made life easier and more convenient for three compelling reasons.
First of all, computers are able to provide a plethora of invaluable information. Through the internet, which can be accessed using a computer, an individual has the opportunity to research a particular subject. For instance, there are highly reputable open-access scientific journals such as Elsevier or IEEE which are available online. Thus, people can research from their lab or even their home without going through the burden of going to a library or waiting for a journal to arrive home, as it was done before computers.
Aside from that, more and more humans are communicating with people all around the globe thanks to the sole existence of computers. Through these devices, I have interacted with people of other countries, which helped me learn about their culture and language. Using computers, I have communicated with my sister who lives in another country. Not only computers have allowed me to learn about new cultures, but also helped me to communicate with my sister in Europe.
In closing, certain jobs have got easier since the existence of computers. For instance, spreadsheets are largely used in almost every department in an enterprise. Moreover, an artificial intelligence is being trained to detect and deal with mild diseases. This allows doctors to focus only on the hard cases and patients to get faster and more accurate treatment for common maladies.
To sum up, I firmly believe that human lives have been absolutely improved by computers. People have access to a vast amount of information written in open-access scientific journals. In addition, through computers, humans can interact with each other from any part of the world. Finally, these machines have made jobs easier for people.

もう治ったかな
数週間前に、ハイキングをしていたとき、どうやってか分からないんですけど、膝を怪我をしまったようです。そのとき、全然気づいていませんでしたが、その次の日、起きたら、「あら、何かおかしいんじゃないかな」と思もいました。歩きながら、動きが変だったし、すこし痛かったんです。「まあ、いいか」と思って我慢してしまいました。数日後、もっと痛くなってきて、動きも難しくなりました。それで、病院に行ってお医者さんに診てもらいました。結果は抗炎症薬をくれました。薬を飲んでから、痛みがだんだんなくなってきています。
昨日、バス停までにまだ着いてなかったとき、バスを見ました。思わずに走りだしてしまいました。バスにのって後のみ、膝のことを思い出しました。もう膝が治ったみたいですね。

La aldea
Decían que el sonido del viento contra la arena es las voces de las almas perdidas, atrapadas para siempre en el infierno que es el desierto. Si es que se pueda decir que vivimos en el desierto, que la sustancia que nos rodea es arena. Yo sé que no. Sé que hace mucho este lugar no era desierto, sino una ciudad en medio de un bosque, que lo que nos rodea no es arena sino lo que queda de los millones que murieron, que fueron matados durante la Noche de Luz, que desaparecieron un instante después de que todo se prendiera en llamas. Sé que no siempre hemos vivido en el infierno. El infierno nos ha venido a nosotros.
La niña contempla las colinas que alzan en la distancia, como gigantes de una época olvidada hace mucho. El sol brilla en un cielo turbio, lleno de polvo y dolor. Suspira la niña antes de empezar a caminar de regreso a la aldea que queda a su espalda, con edificios apenas de pie, con gente desilusionada, una aldea en que solo viven mendigos y en que no existe ni un centavo de sobra.

Les impatientes
Je viens de terminer ma lecture du roman « Les impatientes » de l’écrivaine camerounaise Djaili Amadou Amal, lauréate du prix Goncourt des lycéens en 2020. Et quelle lecture bouleversante !
Le style simple et dépouillé de l’auteure m’a initialement attiré vers ce livre, mais ne vous trompez pas : cela n’a pas été une lecture facile. Inspiré des propres expériences de l’auteure en grandissant au sein d’une famille peule au Cameroun, ce roman traite de la dure réalité à laquelle les femmes au Sahel doivent faire face dans leur vie quotidienne. Violences conjugales, viols, et mariages forcés règnent dans une société obstinément attachée aux traditions religieuses et hostile au moindre changement, au détriment des femmes qui sont exhortées à accepter leur sort sans se plaindre, ou comme le dit un adage peul, à être « patientes ».
Mais au moins trois d’entre elles - Ramla, Hindou, et Safira - n’ont plus de patience. Celles-ci vont tenter à tout prix de s’affranchir de leur condition, de se libérer de ce système qui les condamne à la soumission. C’est un récit brut, souvent choquant, et farouchement féministe, dont le retentissement donnera peut-être une voix à ces femmes dans la vraie vie qui, autrement, se retrouveraient démunies.

Il caldo d'estate
Non direi che il caldo d'estate mi da energia, ma almeno non me rende stanco. Quando studiavo a Firenze molti altri studenti erano sempre stanchi perché faceva circa 38 gradi ogni giorno. Invece non ero mai stanco, nonostante io non avessi aria condizionata o ventilatori. Gli altri studenti con cui stavo erano molto sorpresi quando hanno visto che usavo una coperta quando dormivo. La mia temperatura ideale è probabilmente 26 gradi, ma qualunque temperatura da -20 a 40 va bene con me.

Life is short, art is long!
How should a man live, if he knows his life is short?
We all know intuitively that human life is short, at least when we get older and have to recognize that we have significantly less time ahead of us than behind us. Physicians are also aware of this and try to do their best to make their patients’ lives as long as possible. It is a great physician, a contemporary of Socrates, Hippocrates, who first expressed his idea:” Life is short, art is long!”
It’s easy to understand the first sentence, the second half of the aphorism is justifiable, and what does it mean to say “art is long”? Perhaps art requires a considerable time to achieve competence in it. Here it takes so much time for Hippocrates to learn how to master the art of medicine to cure patients, compared with the brevity of life!.
We can apply this aphorism into our modern life: life is short, let…!
Actually time is just time, neither short nor long, we can measure it by second, minute and hour or even so called life. Time is a concept which is projected by thought, the thought creates a sense of shortness or length of time dependent on one’s emotions. Imagine that you have been waiting so long for the person whom you fall in love with, how long time it is, it seems not to matter to you, you would joyfully say that you could have spent your life, willingly just waiting for your lover, because it is a kind of psychological time, but what happens if that is the person you hate, will you wait for? Absolutely, no! Therefore, time really only exists parallel when thought is there: No thought, no time!
So how a man should live, if he knows his life is short. I remember a saying of Confucius “生不知, 死何帰” it means to live (you) do not know, to die (you) go to where? When you live you really don’t know your living, and if you die now how can you know where to go? He placed an emphasis on the way that you are living now, rather than you are having worries about your death. It means exactly how you live and you will die! Turning to the aphorism, life is short we all know, but the art of living is long to achieve!
If a man does not recognize the value of time to lead a “right” life, we can see how carelessly people spend their time, being constantly busy is what makes their lives slip through their fingers, but not only for them, life is in fact short, and precisely because they themselves make it so short. Even no matter how long their lives are they do not know how to live with it, useless! I tell you a true story of my friend who was studying Ph.D in Taiwan, on his summer vacations he visited his home, at about 9 pm, a thief intruded in his room through a window and stole his laptop, at that time he caught the thief and by instinct he chased after him to get back the laptop, his house was located at a little bit high mountain, unluckily, he fell from a not too high steep cliff and he got a stroke of heart then died away there. I got this message from a friend when I was in Burma for an intensive retreat of meditation course with a broken heart! Nobody knows the reason why he died of, it’s just a laptop? No, not really! I thought it would be his documents that he had accumulated and stored in it, and maybe his not finished Ph.D writings. (sleep well!, I told my friend): life is short in deed! He got attached to his studies, but he didn’t know about it even until he gave out his last breath, is it worth costing such a young life? We all fairly have just a short life: choose it wisely, friends!
For the wise, they spend their precious life-time as profitably as possible, by making use of every day as though it were the last. They fully live in the present moment with alert and awakening mind, a mind shines brightly within and without, not remember the past, or chase after the future. He fully lives with an in-breath, he clearly knows an in-breath breathes in, short or long. And he fully lives with an out-breath, he clearly knows an out-breath breathes out, short or long til he can achieve his pointed mind with composure and calm. Leading such a life is no need to worry about anything, one thing that he needs to care with heed for this present moment and this moment only, there is no future moment, if there were a future moment that comes to right now and also becomes this present moment. this is beyond life!

Pompei
He visitato el sito archeologico di Pompei prima della pandemia. La Pompei antica è stata fondata dagli Oschi, un popolo che viveva nella penisola italiana. A confronto della sua fondazione, è stata romanizzata abbastanza tardivamente, quando il dittatore Silla ci ha installato una colonia romana. Era prospera quando è stata distrutta dalla eruzione del Vesuvio, nel anno 79.
Una mischela di particoli e di gas vulcanichi ha ricoverto Pompei. Un tale fenomeno si chiama "colata piroclastica". Questa colata ha pietrificato la gente, che assomiglia a sculture fabbricate da stompo. Perciò, e possibile vedere queste persone nelle loro ultime azioni. Si può anche passegiare nelle vie, vedere i graffiti sui muri, visitare i "thermopolia", che erano luoghi di restoro dove si vendevano vino e cosette per mangiare. Credo che siano i precursori dell'osterie moderne.
A causa de questi tutti elementi, mi sembra che Pompei sia la più viva di tutte le citte morte. L'eruzione l'ha inoltre protetta dai sacchaggi, e perciò, ha guardato molto tresori. Tutto in Pompei dà il sentimiento d'essere immerso nella vità quotidiana di un popolo che ha vissuto millenari fa. Una esperienza appassionante !

A free thinker but not to let thinking be free!
I have just come back here for about two weeks in no connection with the Internet, and today I read a saying of Aristotle by chance on timeline of my Facebook:”Be a free thinker and don't accept everything you hear as truth. Be critical and evaluate what you believe in." Then I make up a title to put my spontaneous ideas into this writing now.
Firstly, we all have our own thoughts freely to think about or of what, that we really want and wish for life. As a great philosopher in Antiquity, Aristotle is also aware of this, suggesting that one should be a free thinker. And as a human who has a right at least for their wanting out-expressed by thoughts without being controlled to full freedom. By this our intellectual skills will be positively developed and created. However, this kind of thinking should be wholesomely oriented because our mind has its function as a-to think about whatever it wants both negatively and positively: if a positive thought generates a pleasant emotion and comfortable bodily sensation. Contrarily, an unwholesome thought triggers a bad result for our body and mind too. We can see this clearly on our mental process every time our mind are thinking of something good or bad, relevantly we feel good or bad feelings right away there, that’s why one should be a free thinker in order to think about our positively oriented thoughts, but do not let the mind be free to think of whatever it wants, negatively, meaning that this thinking will control and give rise to sufferings to us.
Secondly, don't accept everything you hear as truth. Be critical and evaluate what you believe in. This advice sounds convincing. We should not easily jump to any acceptance because of our hearing as truth, only to hear from someone’s information is not enough for us to justify something that is true, rather that should be seriously investigated with a critical mind. Such an open attitude will help to have an extensive vision and to be self-confident in the way we are in life.
In conclusion, it would be great to be a free thinker who can challenge their life with deep investigation of what is happening around and be always willing to learn more!

¡Hola a todos!
Desafortunadamente, hoy tengo que hablarte sobre una tema muy seria, una pelea con mi amigo. ¡Es muy estresante!
Básicamente, durante el noviembre, mis amigas (todos de mis amigas son niñas) y yo hemos sido planeábamos viajar a Japón, sin embargo ahorita no sentimos seguras porque Japón hay muchas restricciones y es muy caro.
Por lo tanto, los dos días pasados hemos sido planeábamos viajar a México en lugar. La problema es que mi mejor amiga Celina es media japonesa y australiana, así que no lo hay las restricciones mismas para ella.
Por lo tanto, todavía ella va a viajar a Japón con tu madre y mis dos otras amigas y yo vamos a viajar a México. Ella no está tan feliz.
Pero, creo que es bueno para nos pongamos en primer lugar. Durante los dos años pasados, hemos estudiado como locas y sin descanso, aún durante las vacaciones.
Ser honesta, no queremos esperar un mes o más para volverle. Queremos viajar en el primer momento de libertad.
Adicionalmente, debido al mis estudios, no he trabajado hace mucho tiempo, y si tomo más tiempo del trabajo, es probable que mi jefe me despedirá/despediría. Me encanta el trabajo en la panadería local, así que tengo miedos, pero la quiero a Celina.
Claro que sí, sentimos muy malas pero es una oportunidad única, el precio y el tiempo serán perfecto.
Definitivamente, mi otra amiga y yo vamos a hacerlo. ¿Qué crees?

L’amour des langues
Je m’intéresse beaucoup aux langues. C’est un peu pourquoi j’apprends le français ; j’avais toujours le sentiment que, bien que j’appréciais les langues, je ne faisais qu’en dilettante. Du coup, j’ai voulu apprendre à connaître une langue plus profondément. Je trouve l’orthographe et les sonnes du français très joli, et je me sens accompli quand j’arrive à utiliser un morceau de grammaire correctement. J’ai l’impression que les Français aiment se plaindre de la complexité excessive de leur langue ; pour moi, ça puisse avoir quelques bizarreries, mais ce n’est pas l’amalgame bâtard de plusieurs autres langues qui est l’anglais ! En plus, la façon dont une langue exprime quelque chose donne une fenêtre dans leur culture et leur manière des pensées, sans parler des médias et contenus qui s’ouvrent.

¡Hola!
Esta noche me gustaría hablar sobre un videojuego lo que me encanta jugar. Se llama ‘The Sims’ por la partida ‘Artes de Electrónicas’. Se hizo durante el año 2000 y desde entonces tres otros videojuegos han publicado: ‘’The Sims 2’, ‘The Sims 3’ y ‘The Sims 4’.
Mucha gente no sabe la razón para la popularidad de esos videojuegos, pero, creo que la mantienen porque hay un elemento innegable de escape.
Me encanta jugarlo después de estudiar, así que suelo jugarlo durante la noche. Puedo pasar tiempo jugándolo durante horas. ¡Ya lo ponía divertirme!
Sin embargo, recientemente no he sido lo capaz de jugando porque tengo un montón de deberes. Ves, estoy en la ultima semana de mis exámenes e hace falta dos meses mis exámenes finales del bachillerato.
La próxima viernes, también tendré que actuar una composición de piano para mi clase de música. Elegí tocar la obra llamado ‘Romance’ por Siberlius, un compositor nacía en Suiza (¡pienso!). Todo de los padres de los estudiantes en mi clase, incluido mío, asistirán.
Me sentiría nerviosa, pero debido al hecho que desde que tenía cuatro años toco el piano, tengo mucha confianza en lugar.

Die Geschichte Montags. <- ist das möglich?
Jetzt habe ich zwei Yogaklassen in meinem neues Fitnessstudio gemacht und ich finde es unglaublich, sich wie gut ich danach fühle. Yoga ist so entspannend, aber manchmal kann es auch eine Herausforderung sein. Leider ist die Klasse morgens total ausgebucht, nichtsdestotrotz werde ich das Fitnessstudio besuchen, um ein Rudergerät auszuprobieren. Heute regnet es in Aberdeen. Ich vermisse das Wetter Italiens sehr. Als ich in Italien war, war das Wetter so schön, dass ich einen Sonnenbrand bekommen habe. Ich habe Flipflops getragen, deswegen sieht meinen Sonnenbrand auf meinen Füßen sehr komisch aus. Es gibt noch weiße Streifen und mann kann sie deutlich sehen, als ich Yoga mache. Heute werde ich Würste mit Käse, Zwiebel, Paprika und Spinat essen. Ich habe auch scharfe Soße, was vielleicht mein Lieblingsessen ist. Heutzutage esse ich kein Frühstück, anstatt trinke ich zwei Kaffees. Meine Brieffreundin hat mir einen Mokka geschenkt und ich trinke jeden Tag einen Espresso. Nach ich meinen Espresso getrunken habe, trinke ich eine Tasse Instantkaffee. Kaffee ist mein Frühstück und ohne Kaffee würde ich nicht funktionieren können. Seit meinem Urlaub bin ich sehr produktiv geworden. Ich hoffe, dass ich mit der Produktivität weitermachen kann. Bald werde ich bereit sein, griechische Sätze auswendig zu lernen. Im Moment kann ich nur einfache Geschichten lesen, aber das ist noch einen großen Fortschritt. Italienisch ist noch schwierig, aber ich kann ein paar einfache Ausdrücke verstehen. Ich finde es interessant zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich die drei Sprachen sind. Ich vermute, dass wenn ich drei ähnlicher Sprachen lernen würde, dann würde ich mehr Probleme haben.
Wenn es nicht mehr regnet, werde ich nach draußen gehen, um einen Spaziergang zu machen und einen Smoothie zu trinken. Ich hoffe, dass es dir heute sehr gut geht! :)
