El Gimnasio
En 2014 formé el hábito de ir al gimnasio y levantar pesas. Acababa de empezar un trabajo de jornada completa y por la primera vez en mi vida no estaba físicamente activo. Iba a la oficina, trabajaba, y regresaba de la oficina. Pronto empezaba a engordar y no me gustaba para nada. Siempre sentía cansancio y un día decidí que iba a hacer un cambio antes de que empeorara. Al principio me costaba un poco porque no conocía las técnicas, pero vi unos videos en YouTube y aprendí los básicos. Hace casi 8 años que voy constantemente y ha cambiado mi vida. He conocido a nuevos amigos, transformé mi cuerpo, y para mi es una manera de desestresarme. No podría imaginar mi vida sin hacer ejercicios.

Drag Race España
Una serie de televisión que recientemente miré para practicar mis habilidades españoles es "Drag Race España." Es la versión española de un programa que tenemos aquí en los Estados Unidos que se llama "RuPaul's Drag Race." Es una telerrealidad que se trata de los drag queens. Un drag queen es una persona que se viste como mujer para el propósito de entretenimiento y la cultura de los drag queens es una parte de la historia LGBTQ. Los drag queens necesitan competir para ganar el programa. Cada episodio necesitan hacer un reto en que podrían cantar, actuar, bailar, improvisar, hacer costura, y más. ¡Es muy divertido para mirar! Cuando miraba la versión español, me aprendí mucho de la cultura LGBT en España. ¡Espero que se hace versiones en otros países hispanohablantes!

A girl from Kyrgyzstan
Today, I've talked with a girl from Kyrgyzstan. It was my first time talking with someone from this country, and even I didn't know there was a country called Kyrgyzstan. I learned so many things from her about her country. I thought she was an American girl because her accent was American. Honestly, I enjoyed talking with her because she was knowledgeable and friendly. I love talking with other people online to learn about new cultures and things. I did so many things today, but I don't have enough time to write about them because I'm very tired.

Stormy
Hi, my name is Diana and I live in a small village near the city. I have a lot of friends that know my secrets but not the deepest one.
My bigest and deepest secret is that I am a superhero. I know it sounds crazt but it's true. One day out of nowhere someone threw a bottle into my room and it gave me powers to change the weather. Now I help people in the city and they started calling me Stormy so that became my superhero name and my alter ego. In the city there were no villains until recently, my biggest enemy came to the city, his name is Mangala. His powers are to shoot magma whenever he wants and that is really powerful but I am stronger thanks to my suit. My suit is made from lavaproof stone and its designed to have rockets of water in case of emergency. Honestly I didn't see him in awhile but whe he comes back I will defeat him once again. People in the city even put up a statue of me because of my help. I even have a simbol that people just have to press to call me for any help they need. The simbol looks like a small lightning bowlt. Everyone says that I'm too kind and tha I'm way too smart for being a superhero, but that's now my job and I love doing it its fun.
And thats my deepest secret just don't tell anyone. Stay safe and don't cause trouble!

Doctor Freeze
Hi, my name is Dean but you can call me Doctor Freeze. I'm sixteen years old and I live in New York City. People think I'm just a normal teenager, but secretly I'm more than that.
There is happening alot kinds of bullying around here, and that really annoys me, but that's why I'm here. With my superpowers I can freeze the time and help others. And I don't just help with bullying, if maybe there is a fire or a thief running I can always help. There is one more superpower tha I have and that's super vision. It' s amiy of night vision and super far quality vision. With that I can easily spot animals or people that need help. One time I saw that an elderly woman was being robbed, but then I just frozed the time and gaved her the purse back.

Invierno en Canadá
Me mudé a Canadá hace más de tres años. Soy de un país que tiene inviernos fríos y nevadas, pero ¡me dió miedo experimentar un invierno canadiense! En los años antes de mudarme, había oído muchísimos cuentos de los inviernos que me asustaron. En mi mente lo que me esperaba fue un país en lo cuál hay menos que 0º centígrado durante el invierno, lo cual dura entre seis y siete meses.
En realidad no es así, por lo menos en la provincia en la que vivo. ¡Lo que me sorprendió lo más fue la cantidad de LLUVIA! Casi cada día había lluvia ese primer invierno. Había nieve también pero mucho menos que esperaba.
Con respeto a tradiciones, no me parecen muy diferentes a las que experimenté en mi país de origen, con la excepción de que los trabajadores reciben más días de vacaciones pagados. Eso fue una sorpresa bienvenida.

What can we do to improve our teachers?
Teaching is like any other job, we can learn from what other colleagues do. But it is really difficult for a teacher to see another teacher in action in a classroom. Teachers are used to listening to other colleagues talking about their experience in the classroom. However, these courses have to be very general because it’s impossible to train for all the subjects.
On the other hand, it’s said that good practices about your own subject have the most impact on your work. In other words, mathematics teachers learn more from other mathematics teachers.
But how to solve this problem, how to provide good practices for all the subjects ?.
One way might be to use publications in an educational journal. I propose to imitate the system of university journals.
For example, imagine you're a history teacher and you have achieved a good result with an original way of explaining the Second World War. You could then write about this experience in an article. The article should be read by other history teachers (peer reviews) to decide on its publication. It is very important that published articles are rewarded with points for promotions, specific jobs, and so on.
Teachers want the administration to recognize the work in the classroom. This would be an efficient way to achieve this. “I wish the administration would reward the most active teachers in the classroom” is an oft-repeated idea. I'd rather see education politicians doing concrete tasks, rather than sterile plans and projects. This idea is concrete, inexpensive, and achievable in a very short period of time.

L'espace, l'ultime frontière/Espace, frontière de l'infini
L'un de mes outils d'apprentissage du français est de regarder Netflix en français avec sous-titres français. Pour le début, j'ai choisi « Star Trek: The Next Generation » ou « Star Trek : La Nouvelle Génération » au français. Je sais que je devrais regarder « Au service de la France » ou n’importe quoi à l'origine en français, mais je ne pense pas je suis prêt pour ça.
Le langage de cette série s-f est un peu artificiel, mais la prononciation est très claire et les sous-titres devraient m'aider.
Mais ils sont différents ! Le titre de cette note est un exemple.
Je suppose que je n'ai pas le choix en ce moment. Je l’aime bien quand même. Sinon, comment j'apprendrais qu'on peut dire « Appuyer sur le champignon ! » à la place de « Engage ! »

Salut! C'est moi
Bonjour, je m'appelle Mar et je suis une fille espagnole qu'est en train d'apprendre français. Je voudrais ameliorer mon niveau du français parce l'année prochain je veux vivre en France pendant 4 mois. J'aime le français mais il est difficile d'apprendre pour moi. J'etudie le français depuis 4 ans mais l'anne dernier je n'ai pu pas apprendre des nouveaux choses. Grace a une amie j'ai découvert cette page, et je pense qu'est trés utile. Pourquoi je me teins les cheveux bleus?
Aujourd’hui, c’est assez normal de voir les jeunes aux cheveux teints; souvent, dans leur cheveux, toutes les couleurs d’un arc-en-ciel ont résident. Mais moi - je ne suis pas si jeune. Donc pourquoi je choisis de me teindre les cheveux? C’est pas (forcément) car j’ai envie de revivre ma jeunesse!
Au début, c’est mon amie qui m’a donné l’idée et qui m’a aidé à le faire pour la première fois. Au premier confinement, nous nous sommes ennuyés et nous avons voulu de faire quelque chose différente. Je me disais que, si je détestais mes cheveux bleus après un mois, je les changerais à nouveau. Mais beaucoup des mois ont passé et je n’ai rien changer.
En fait, je me suis rendu compte que, avec mes cheveux bleus, je ressens plus sur / assuré (which would be better?) de moi-même, d’ailleurs parfois quand je vois mon reflet dans un miroir, je pense que je ressemble à une personnage qui viens d’un monde fantastique (ou plutôt un personnage de jeu vidéo…), et ça m'amuse beaucoup. De toute façon, je suis contente d’avoir la chance de m’exprimer ma créativité, en sachant que la vie est courte et il faut que je prenne la chance de vivre en dehors les règles sociales un peu.

SCHLAFLOS
Letzte Nacht habe ich gar nicht geschlafen. Eigentlich habe ich nur Final Fantasy 5 auf Deutsch gespielt. Deswegen fühle ich mich total schrecklich. Ich habe zwei Energiegetränke und einen Kaffee getrunken. Ich muss noch 5 Stunden wach bleiben um morgen Früh aufzuwecken und aufstanden können. Wenn alles gut geht denn wäre mein Schlafrhythmus wieder in Ordnung! Ohnehin muss ich etwas auf Deutsch schreiben weil ich jeden Tag schreiben möchte, um endlich einwandfrei Deutsch zu können. Vielleicht werde ich öfter Fehler machen weil ich so müde bin. Zumindest habe ich eine Ausrede!
Heute habe ich nicht so viel geschaffen, muss ich zugeben. Ich habe ein Video auf Youtube geschaut indem einen Schwede ein Haus gebaut hat. Es war sehr beeindruckend und ich habe es für über drei Stunden geschaut. 2014 bin ich nach Schweden gegangen und ich fand er wirklich Märchenhaft. Ich habe in eine Walde gewohnt und abends konnte man die Sternen richtig gut sehen. Ich habe auch einen Raumschiff gesehen, aber weiß ich den Name des Raumschiffs nicht mehr, denn ich kann mich er einfach nicht mehr erinnern. Schreiben ist definitiv schwieriger wenn man sehr müde ist. In Schweden war es sehr Kalt, aber im Sommer war das Wetter schön. Ich könnte nicht in Schweden wohnen, weil ich eine ganz neue Sprache lernen müsste und für mich wäre das sehr schwierig. Glücklicherweise habe ich schon ein bisschen Deutsch in der Schule gelernt und habe ich die einfachste Wörter schon gelernt. In meiner Schulzeit habe ich sowohl die Nummern als auch die Monaten und einige Verben gelernt. Jedoch musste ich die komplexer Grammatikregeln selbst lernen und das ist noch anlaufend.
Wenn ich in der Universität nicht akzeptiert werde, dann hoffentlich kann ich einen Englischlehrer werden um in Deutschland zu unterrichten. Ich finde, dass Spracherlernen sehr interessant ist und wenn ich in Deutschland leben könnte dann würde ich schneller Deutsch lernen!
Jetzt höre ich langsame Musik, aber vielleicht sollte ich nicht. Ich sollte schneller Musik hören um länger wach zu bleiben. Ich habe zu oft um 3 Uhr Nachmittags aufgestanden und ich wüsste, dass ich etwas ändern musste. Ich habe schon die ganze Nacht durchgemacht und deswegen kann ich sehr stolz darauf sein.
Ich kann kaum erwarten, ins Bett zu gehen und einzuschlafen! Wahrscheinlich werde ich komische Träume bekommen.

Firstly, my superher's name is Akilos. He has a blue armour all over his body, he has a little yellow hair and and ice crystal on top of his stick. He als had a shield in his left arm.
Next, he has a lot of incredible superpowers which help him when he is battling agains villians. Some of them are, that he can fly, he can throw out ice out of his crystal and taht he has a superspeed.
He is here to kill villians. Because they kill other people in city.

Il y a une créature dans « Harry Potter » qui peut se transformer en forme qui provoke le plus grand peur. En se défendant, on doit le transformer en quelque drôle et éclater un grand rire. Moi, si j'étais face à cet object, je pense qu'il pourrais se transformer en forme d'un feuille papier qui me dirait que j'ai tout raté. Oui, j'ai toujours eu peur de rater un examen, mais j'ai aussi peur d'avoir des blessures ingérables. Je ne sais pas comment je peux les transformer en quelque choses drôles mais ce que je suis certaine, c’est qu’il faut toujours garder l'espoir.

Using an App for Practicing Speaking
I get started using an app about practicing English.
As I checked my practice history of the app, I used it two years ago.
At that time, it was very hard to practice the way 'shadowing' because I was not used to English.
So I gave up to use the app.
But now, it is time to practice 'shadowing' to improve my speaking skill.
That's why, I use the app again.
If I study hard using this app, I will be good at speaking English.
I hope I will get there.
