A Mind For Numbers
This is a summary from one of my favourite books called "A Mind For Numbers" by Barbara Oakley.
I hope this will be useful for you :)
Our brain has two ways of thinking: focused and diffuse mode.
Focused mode is placed principally in the front of the brain and whenever we have a thought, with focused mode we repeat a pattern.
To enter to focused mode we only need to put our attention to something.
Meanwhile, in diffuse mode we don't repeat specific patterns, instead, we make scattered neural connections in all the brain.
Diffuse mode gives us a "big picture". That's why using this mode is essential to solve hard problems.
Diffuse mode occurs when we relax our attention.
Examples:
Sleeping, meditating, making art, doing exercise, driving, going for a walk.
Kinds of memories.
We have two kinds of memories, they are long term memory and working memory.
Whenever we are learning something we're trying to go from working memory to long term memory
Working memory.
This kind of memory happens when you're consciously holding the information.
The working memory can hold only 4 chunks and it's crucial to be active and give them energy so your metabolism doesn't use that energy.
For example repeat someone's name until you write it.
Long term memory.
Long term memory is a enourmus storage of information. It's like a giant library. To find any book it's necessary to revisit the path a few times in order to remember it.
There's a way to remember "that path", is called Spaced Repetition System and it consist in alternating recall and rest.
Sleep
It's important because when we sleep toxic products are eliminated because our cells shrink and the space between our cells are bigger so fluids can pass and clean those toxins.
That's why when we don't sleep well we can't think effectively.
Chunking.
Chinking is one of the most important elements to understand anything. When you chunk informations it's easier for the brain to understand it.
Chunking means to divide informations into little pieces and then tie them through meaning.
Pause and recall.
Don't look at the text, ¿what were the principal ideas? ¿How can you use this?.

A dinner with a famous person
If I would have a dinner with a famous person I would like to do it with a famous sociologist Ekaterina Shulman.
She is very clever, open-minded and well-read person. She interprets what's happening in the world. And she does it in calm and eloquent way. I enjoy reading her channel.
She discuss not only political science, but also classic and contemporary literature. She has tree children as I have. And now she lives in Germany. I have a special relationship with this country.
So, if I would have a chance to meet her I would definitely do it.

Dream job
When I was a child, I'd like to be a teacher.
When I was 7, I loved to write in workbooks and made different workbooks for my dolls. Barby, her husband and their numerous children had to learn writing and reading 😄
At the end of the 3rd grade I asked my classmates what did they dream about future job. They said teacher, babysitter, vet, racketeer. Yes, there were 90-ties. As I asked, I thought about myself. Maybe I would like to be a teacher.
After that there were a lot of things I was interesting in: theater, science, design... Now I'm a German teacher and make digital worksheets and workbooks for my students.

Mein Auslandsaufenthalt
Hallo zusammen,
letzte Woche bin ich mit meiner Schule zu einer Buchmesse in Belgrad gereist. Wir sind dort mit einem Bus gefahren. Obwohl es eine lange Reise war, hatten wir viel Spaß. Musik, lachen und schlafen machten den Trip leicht. Wir haben in einem Hotel gewohnt, das "Slavija" heißt. Es war alt, aber nicht schlecht. Wir wohnten dort nur zwei Tage. Abgesehen von der Buchmesse, haben wir viele Sehenwürdigkeiten besichtigt und meine lieblingste war das JNA-Stadium. Dort spielt mein Lieblingsfußballclub. Besonders hat mir das Zentrum gefallen. Es ist nicht zu alt und nicht zu neu. Ingesamt war diese Reise toll! Ich kann so einen Auslandsaufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Insurance Talk
Many different types of insurance are available in ABC country, from health insurance to commercial property insurance. Some are required by law, while others may be "icing on the cake". What type(s) of insurance should I purchase? What are the most important?
To answer these questions, we invited XYZ, co-founder of XXX, to our Thursday meetup this week. She hopes to help the audience better understand insurance plans and avoid unnecessary insurance plans and misleading marketing strategies.

Toefl essay
I personally believe being genuine is an essential quality to have. Humans need other two qualities too, but genuine is important for yourself and the person who talks to you. Humans are afraid to be judged so they can't be genuine around people they didn't know. There are several reasons why I feel this way, which I will explore in the following essay.
Firstly, how we define genuine. My own definition of genuine is " how you have truthfulness to yourself regardless of other people's opinions or criticism ". My own experience, was when I took credit for a history team project, for doing nothing. Even so, I told the teacher I do nothing to my team. It's a small moment for most of people, but then I know I can be genuine about teachers' criticism. After that, I can be genuine around people. This is so much relief
Secondly, as I mentioned before most people are afraid to be judged. People face pressure from society such as people saying that you act imperfect even though there can't be the perfect person. If we didn't care about other peoples thinking, we will become much happier. This eventually leads to having great life experience than previously do.
Last but not least, being genuine can also help your own environment. Your own circle of people such as friends, family, and classmates is most important to you. What if you pretend to them accidentally or intentionally? This is a horrible thing to do. If someone you know asks your opinion or advice, but you told them with an autocorrected response. Just be yourself and don't wear a mask that hides your true self.
In conclusion, being genuine is hard for most people but it's a handy skill to have. Humans just can't have only one skill, but I prefer genuine over anything.
In this essay, I discuss how being genuine is trustful not only for you but your loved ones. People only look for the real you. Stay truthful to yourself

Un livre intéressant à partager
Il y a quelques mois, j'ai lu un livre qui s'appelle « The Devil's Advocate » de Steve Cavangh.
L'histoire commence avec un homme qui va être executé par électrocution, il s'appelle Darius Robinson, arrêté pour une meurte il y a quatre ans. Son advocat, Cody Warren, ne peut qu'appeler lieutenanat gouverneur Patchett et espérer qu'il va annuler la peine de mort. Sa opposition, Randal Korn, est un advocat qui aime à mettre les gens sous une peine de mort. Malgré ça, Darius a été executé.
Cinq mois plus tard, Skylar Edwards est kidnappé par un homme inconnu. Quelques chapitaires plus tard, cet homme est connu par son surnom « The Pastor » (Le Pasteur), il est très associé avec la meurte d'elle. Après la meurte de Skylar Edwards, Andy Dubois est choisi d'être le bouc émissaire. Puis, Eddie Flynn, un advocat vient de New York va aller à Alabama pour occuper le cas de Dubois et battre contre sa opposition, Randal Korn.
Pendant la préparation pour ce cas, Randal Korn est allié avec un policier corrumpu, Colt Lomax, qui l'aide à modifier les évidences, assure les témoins et le jury disent ce qu'ils sont demandés, quelque soit le façon utilisé. Pour que Randal puisse avoir tous les advantages contre Eddie Flynn. Cependant, après la mort de sa femme, il a changé le camp, il essaye à donner l'évidence décisive à l'équipe d'Eddie qui peut absolutement renverser le résultat de ce cas, et sauver Dubois à être executé. Mais avant tout ça, Lomax a été tué par une balle à la tête.
Pour le reste, je ne vais pas tous gâcher mais c'est vraiment intéressant ! Même si la fin de ce livre est comme la majorité des livres et films.

Chaque seconde qu'il était loin de la maison il le passe à penser à la chaise où il s'agenouille pour dessiner.
Mais bien que le dessin est une obsession, ça ne suffit pas; il y a donc ans qu'il nourrit son cerveau par tous le moyens possibles: langage corporel, sociologie et la liste est très long. Le fait intéressant est que tous ces nouveaux intérêts amplifient l'obsession pour le dessin: les nouvelles idées devaient tôt ou tard sortir de la leur dimension abstrait, et à travers son crayon il les donne corps. Pour lui le dessin est donc le lien entre le souffrance physique et le plaisir imaginaire; une chose comme ça, comme peut-elle ne devenir pas une obsession?
De plus, il était tellement égocentrique que les amis ne l'importent pas; attention, son égocentrisme est le résultat de sa seul nécessité de nourrir son cerveau: en réalité son coeur était plein d'amour qu'il ne sait pas donner.
On peut donc dire que sa intelligence et sa vie sociale forment un circle vicieux, et la seule issue de secours qu'il a trouvé est le dessin.
Peut-être que son coeur a besoin du amour, de l'affection d'une femme qui tôt ou tard tombera du ciel comme une ange? Mais son coeur, sera-t-il prêt pour recevoir autant amour après ans de sécheresse?

毎年台風がたくさんあります。後件を軽減するため、何をしますか。
フエには毎年いつか大小の台風があります。台風が過ぎるたびに多くの深刻な結果を残っています。建物が倒したり、木が壊れたり、尊い命を奪ったりすることさえあります。結果は本当に深刻です。
後件を軽減するために、自治体だけでなく、一人一人台風を防ぐのは責任があります。さまざまな方法があります。たとえば、台風に来る前に、丈夫な建物に動くとか、慎重屋根を支えるとか、木を剪定しなければなりません。それは台風に来たとき、みんなにもっと安全になっています。大切なことは台風中に絶対に外に出かけません。大変危ないです。
台風はとても恐ろしいものです。全てのものを奪うことができます。それで、真剣に考えて慎重行動した方がいいです。

Mon téléphone
Mon téléphone est vraiment vieux. C’est un iPhone 6s Plus et je l’ai depuis six ans. Évidemment, il est en très mauvais état. Le bouton principal et la caméra ne fonctionnent pas. De plus, il a beaucoup de rayures sur l’écran et le haut-parleur est si doux. Et pour couronner le tout, l’état de la batterie est très mauvais. Je déteste dépenser de l’argent pour électroniques mais j’en ai eu assez! Je vais acheter un nouveau téléphone bientôt.

Die Hochzeit - Von Berlin nach Pamplona
Meine Freundin hatte ihre Hochzeit vor einem Jahr geplant: Samstag, der 1. Oktober 2022. Es war meine erste Hochzeit im Jahr 2022, und ich war natürlich begeistert.
Obwohl ich in Berlin wohne, wollte ich mit ihr feiern und dabei für ihre Hochzeit. sein. Also, habe ich meine Reise sehr gründlich geplant:
Ich wollte zuerst am Donnerstagabend nach Madrid fliegen und danach nach Pamplona fahren. Die Schwester meines Freundes würde mich am Freitag Morgen abholen und wir würden zusammen mit ihrem Auto nach Pamplona ankommen.
Alles vorbereitet, ging ich zum Flughafen und ich war total enttäuscht: mein Flugzeug war gestrichen! Meine Stimmung war total schlecht. Ich konnte es nicht glauben, weil es sehr spät war. Und leider hatte ich nicht viele Möglichkeiten zum Fliegen, deshalb musste ich ein alternatives (und teures) Reisen buchen.
Was habe ich gemacht? Am Freitag habe ich ein neues Flugzeug gekauft, nach Frankreich, in Bordeaux. Das Flugzeug war dieses Mal pünktlich und ich bin gut angekommen.
Danach habe ich einen Zug nach Hendaye gebucht. Hendaye ist die letzte Stadt in Frankreich, bevor man in Spanien dabei ist. Ich musste am Freitagabend in San Sebastian ankommen, damit ich auf der Hochzeit sein konnte.
Trotzdem hat sich der Zug verspätet und ich habe die letzte S-Bahn nach San Sebastian vermisst. Ich hatte keinen Bock mehr zu reisen oder Alternativ zu buchen. Ich war total genervt. Aber ich hatte eine Unfall: ich bin zu Fuß über die Grenze gegangen und ich habe die S-Bahn in Spanien mitgenommen.
Schließlich bin ich am Freitagabend in Spanien angekommen! Und am Samstag habe ich sehr mit meinen Freunden gefeiert! Die Hochzeit war großartig!

La Voix au Parlement
Le premier ministre d’Australie, Anthony Albanese a déclaré qu’il a l’intention de tenir un référendum l’année prochaine. La question qui va être posée dans le référendum est, si les peuples indigènes d’Australie doivent être représentés dans la Constitution. Ce dont j’ai honte, c’est qu’il n’y a aucune reconnaissance des peuples indigènes dans notre Constitution. Bien entendu, ce sont les gens qui étaient ici avant les Britanniques.
Le référendum est surnommé le Voix au parlement et dans un annonce, le ministre d’affaires indigènes, Linda Burney a déclaré que ce sera une occasion unique d’apporter des changements structurels à la Constitution et d’améliorer leur vie.
Je suis pleinement conscient qu’ils n’ont pas les mêmes avantages que les autres Australiens : ils sont marginalisés. Si on regarde les statistiques, l’état de santé, le bien-être, le niveau de l’éducation et les résultats d’emploi sont inférieurs à la moyenne australienne. C’est malgré l’aide du gouvernement et les programmes spéciaux.
Bien que j’apprécie que la Voix au parlement sera un pas dans la bonne direction, il y un groupe de personnes qui veut plus. Ils citent l’exemple de Nouvelle-Zélande où les Maoris ont un traité pour protéger leurs droits. D’après ce groupe, la Voix au parlement ne va pas assez loin. Quoi qu’il en soit, seul le temps le dira.

La coupe de Melbourne
La coupe de Melbourne est la plus grande course de chevaux en Australie. Chaque année, il a lieu le premier mardi de novembre. La course se déroule à l’hippodrome de Flemington à 15h. La première course a eu lieu en 1861 pendant la ruée vers l’or : 161 ans en arrière. Comme j’ai mentionné déjà dans une autre écriture de journal précédente, à ce moment je fais un cours d’histoire de l’art et j’ai vu nombreuses peintures de cette première course. Même à l’époque, l’atmosphère était festive avec beaucoup de spectateurs.
On m’a dit que l’atmosphère est similaire à celle de l’Ascot en Angleterre. Je suppose, peut-être que la coupe de Melbourne a été influencée par l’Ascot, après tous les colons britanniques étaient ici à ce moment-là. Quoi qu’il en soit retourner à l’atmosphère du carnaval, il me semble que les gens, en particulière les femmes s’intéressent plus à la mode que des chevaux. Toutes les dames sont très bien habillées et elles portent toutes un petit chapeau, parfois des gants comme la famille royale en Angleterre. Les dames flânent, parlent de tout et rien, boivent du champagne et mangent des petits sandwichs : en effet très haute couture. C’est le point culminant du calendrier de la mode.
J’admets que moi aussi, j’ai regardé ces dames aux infos, j’ai apprécié leurs robes et j’ai aucune idée quel cheval a gagné la course !

下周
在下个礼拜一，我会去诊所打COVID和流感预防针。这会是我这一年半以来第五次打的COVID针，而且是三年以来第一次打流感针。希望一次打两针不会让我有太严重的后遗症！
周二是选举日，但我已经投票了，所以没必要当天排队投。当天晚上和第二天早上我会查网络新闻看投票结果。
周三、四我会照常工作。
礼拜五不用上班，因为我的公司规定每个月的第一个礼拜五放假。周六、日也是照常放假的。我还没计划要怎么过这次的连休三天的长周末。
English version:
Next Monday, I'll get COVID & flu shots at a local clinic. This will be the fifth COVID shot I've had in the past year-and-a-half, and the first flu shot I've had in the past three years. I hope the side effects from getting these two shots together won't be too serious.
Tuesday is election day, but I've already submitted my ballot, so I won't need to stand in line to vote that day. I'll work all day and check the election results online in the evening and the next morning.
Wednesday & Thursday are normal working days.
I don't need to work on Friday because my company gives all employees the first Friday of each month off as a "balance day." I haven't yet made plans for the three-day weekend.

Странно, озадаченно, нечётно: Эти являются только некоторыми из слов, использовавшие экономистами, пытав понять небывалое падение продуктивности работников в этом году. Продуктивность упала на 4 процента в первой половине 2022-ого года. Это было самое крупное падение с 1947-ого года, когда началось исследование таких данных, которые экономисты сейчас считают неотъемлемой метрикой в экономическом области. Как сообщает статья, продуктивность не только важна для роста предприятий, а также для того, чтобы обеспечить блестящей экономиею стране, поскольку чем выше уровень продуктивности, тем шире будет набор доступных товаров и услуг.
Эксперты списывают эту тенденцию на разнообразные факторы. Тем не менее, все подчеркнули, что никто не знает наверняка, что происходит. Во-первых, рынок труда чрезвычайно узок в этом году .Это побудило работников для того, чтобы заняться "тихим увольнением" (quiet quitting?).
Другими словами, это значит, что они сосредоточится только на необходимых задачах , чтобы доказать, что они завершили свою работу, считая, что их начальники не могут допустить себе уволить ещё одного работника. Ситуация в 2019-ом году совершено отличается от настоящей. В то время, правило было такое, что у работника был только один шанс, а если совершил опять ошибку, то был бы уволен на месте. Сейчас ситуация совсем изменилась, поскольку у работника есть 10 шансов, и даже потом, увольнение не гарантировано.

Hola chicos, como va todo con ustedes. Ahorita, esta la primera vez que esta lloviendo aqui. Asi que, no puedo salir mi casa en la mañana, pero despues es mejor. No hay mucho nuevo, el sabado fui a un meetup de alemán. Esta un poco confundiendo para mi por que en alemán todas los sustantivos son capitalizado y en español no. Entonces mis diarios son un poco ... incorrect. En mi trabajo, epecemos unos nuevos proyectos que se significan mas documentos y reuniones. Afuera del trabajo, he hecho ejercicio y corriendo cada dia. Si pudiere mi tiempo por kilometro mas corta gustaría una carrera el proximo año. Es total, nos vemos pronto amigos.
