"A death in Tokyo"
I bought an e-book titled "A death in Tokyo" on Amazon two weeks ago when I was browsing the books by Keigo Higashino, my favorite author there. It seems that the book has recently come into the world.
When I first saw the English title, I thought it was too vague and obscure since the original title is "麒麟の翼"(Kylin's wing).
Anyway, now I'm enjoying reading it on the Kindle app on Android with the help of Wise Word. I can't stop reading!

N'as pas peur d'être blesser
La vie est plein de souci. Il y a beaucoup de choses qui sont hors de nôtre controle, par exemple le méteo, le fait si quelqu'un nous aime ou pas, les échec qoutidien et cetera. Ça arrive a chacune peu importe qui tout le monde a ses propres problèmes dans sa vie. Pour quelques leurs problèmes sont pire que de l'autres. Malheureusement il y a des gens qui se laissent decourager de cette défis dans la vie et ils commencent à tous éviter. Cependant ce n'est pas le bon moyen, on doit accepter qu'on a les problèmes et les confronte. Ce qui nous tue pas rend nous plus forts.

La liste des dangers du patrimoine mondiale
L’UNESCO tient une liste des dangers du patrimoine mondiale. Il y en a 52 endroits qui se trouvent partout. Quelques exemples sont la vielle ville de Jérusalem, les forêts tropicales de Atsinanana au Madagascar et les Monuments médiévaux au Kosovo.
Un rapport publié par l’UNESCO a recommandé que la Grande Barrière de Corail est mise sur cette liste. La contexte de cette histoire est qu’en 2021, une délégation de l’UNESCO avait visité la corail et avait suggéré qu’elle était inscrite sur la liste. La délégation avait été préoccupée par l’état du récif : le corail mort, le blanchiment important et le manque de poissons. C’était un appel à l’action au précédent gouvernement australien qui devrait faire face à la situation. En plus, le reportage de 2021 avait sensibilisé la crise face au récif.
Le gouvernement de l’époque avait promis de mettre en place des mesures pour le protéger et par conséquent il n’avait pas été mis sur la liste. Cependant, après une deuxième visite d’une délégation de scientifiques en mai 2022, un deuxième reportage a été publié. Encore une fois, il a recommandé que la Grande Barrière du Corail est mise sur la liste puisque la température de l’eau continuait à augmenter, le blanchiment était plus que jamais et le récif était menacé par le changement climatique. En plus, le rapport a décrit les principales mesures à prendre pour le sauver. Ça sera intéressant de voir ce qu’on va faire le gouvernement actuel.

９：父がいないクリスマス
普段、クリスマスには家族全員と過ごしていました。プレゼント交換はもうしないけど、僕たちはいつも大きな晩ご飯を一緒に食べていました。でも、今日初めて父がいないクリスマスを体験しました。
数日前、父は帯状疱疹にかかりました。最初はあまり重症ではありませんでした。父は平気と言ったばかりなのに、金曜日で症状は急に悪化したので、父は入院してしまいました。幸いなことに、父は病院で働いているから、素早く医者に診てくれました。医者によると、病気は耳辺りまで感染してきたので、脳に入る恐れがありました。そのせいで、クリスマスに父は病院で一人で過ごしていました。
ここ数年で、末の弟が祝日に晩ご飯を作るようになりました。彼の料理はかなり上手くなったから、父はその料理を期待してたと思います。父はそう言いませんけど、末の弟の料理を食べると、いつも笑います。でも、次の学期が始まる前に、新年がありますから、父はきっと末の弟の料理を食べられます。それに、父はよくなっているみたいですので、近いうちに退院できそうです。そうなるように願っています。

Nochebuena
No sé porque no, pero el año pasado no paseó una la nochebuena. Esta vez, un poco antes de la madrugada y con Sun y mis suegros, descubrí que es un escenario encantador. Muchos apartamentos tienen la luz de las fiestas de nochebuena, y las voces de los niños, emocionado con la novedad acostarse tarde. Algunas tienen el sonido de canciones de navidad (canciones estadounidenses, las letras sobre nieve y el tintineo de campanas un poco incongruo en el verano).

Lo más importante que he aprendido en mi vida
Lo más importante que he aprendido en mi vida es la importancia de vivir la vida al máximo. Creo que hay que vivir cada día como si fuera el último. La vida es corta y se puede acabar en cualquier momento.
Además, no estaré joven y en buena salud para siempre. No sé lo que podría ocurrir en el futuro. Se puede que caiga enfermo o que tenga un accidente de trabajo o de auto y que luego no pueda hacer todo lo que quería. Seguro que si no haga todo eso cuando lo pueda, me arrepentiría mucho de no haberlo hecho.
Hay que recordarse de que el tiempo sigue pasando, no importa lo que hagamos. Lo único que podemos hacer es disfrutar de la vida lo más posible y tratar de no olvidar este consejo.

Writing Challenge, Day 85
Today is the day 85th day of my daily English challenge. Yesterday I send all my friends card to celebrate Merry Christmas. I wanted to share with them, though we have not the same culture. I was delighted to do it!
Today I didn't do anything else, because I am in a pain and it's a strong. I juste cooked dinner to my sister.
When I haven't pain; I feel happy and I see the world pink, but when I am in a pain; I see the world black.

Mon neveu apprend le français à l'école .
Salut !
Le jour d'autre , j'appris que mon neveu apprend le français à l'école . Il est très excité pour ces leçons et je veux parler avec lui en français . Hier soir, en aident mon frère à endormir ses deux fils , je demandé de mon plus ancient neveu s'il pouvait dire "Sweet Dreams" en français. Quand il a répondu , " Non " , je pourrait partager de lui un nouveau phrase . Je lui ai dit "Fais de beaux rêves" .
C'était un bon moment .

TOEFL Writing| Custom in My Country
Topic:
Describe a custom from your country that you would like people from other countries to adopt. Explain your choice, using specific reasons and examples.
My essay:
If a custom in my country, China, would be introduced to other countries, I would choose firework in the Spring Festival as the one. The reasons for my decision are as follows.
First of all, taking firework has historical and special meaning in China. According to the tale, there was once a fierce monster named Nian in the valley outside the village. Every year, it came to the village and brought disaster. For example, it ate people and their goods, destroy the houses and facilities. In order to threaten it and defend themselves, villagers made fires and put bamboos on it. As the result, the flame and crack sounds protected them from the monster. Today, we use firework to substitute the fired bamboo and the custom has become popular in rural area when the Spring Festival comes.
Another reason that I'd like to introduce firework to foreigners is that it's interested and thrilled playing it. As you can see, playing firework require a little courage and the experience is exciting. Such a custom will absolutely increase the joy and happiness in the grand festival. For example, when I was a kid, I liked playing firework very much and always wished it as the year came to the end. When I fired the firework, I kept shaking but put the match steadily to fire it. After the powder ignited, I ran away as fast as I can to avoid the bombing. It was the most pleasured and enjoyable time all year around.
Last but not least, I think the scene and sound of firework cracking are splendid. The flames and sounds in the Eve of Spring Festival are symbols that stand for people's good luck. Flying fireworks are best wishes from normal family for a better tomorrow and the happier year. Every people have made the preparation for firework and finally contribute to the scenery. For instance, when the time is 12o'clock in the Eve of New Year, every family in the community will launch the firework prepared about a month ago. The sky with colorful light is a beautiful picture which consists of thousands of family's wishes and hopes.
In conclusion, I believe that playing and admiring fireworks are the fittest custom for Chinese people and foreigners are welcomed to adopt it and have fun in their own festival.

25 décembre 2022 - un château de thé
Le dernier jour au Japon de ce voyage, mon amie n’était pas libre pour m’accompagner alors je suis partie au Kawagoe seule. Quand je suis seule, je suis plus concentré sur les choses autour de moi et j’observe ce que les autres font. Comme j’avais envie de goûter le matcha traditionnel du Japon, j’ai toujours voulu visiter un château de thé. C’est comme café en Europe mais c’est l’endroit tranquille pour se reposer. Quand je suis y arrivée, il y avait un couple et deux femmes. Ils étaient tranquilles et ne faisaient pas beaucoup de bruit, même s’ils se discutaient, le volume était bas et ça ne dérangeait personne. Mais la tranquillité a disparu quand un groupe des anglophones étaient venus. Ils parlaient forts comme si personne n’était pas là. Une d’entre d’eux a fait sign pour que les autres se tuaient mais même si leur volumes se baisaient, je pouvais entendre leur conversation très clairement. En réfléchissant, peut-être à Hong Kong, je suis comme ça aussi alors je ne leur blâmais pas. Je voulais simplement faire une comparaison et noter ce phénomène intéressant.
Néanmoins, j’aime beaucoup la tranquillité des Japonais et leur politesse. Une des choses qui me plait beaucoup pendant mon voyage, c’est que dans le métro, personne ne parle fortement et c’est comme si je suis à la bibliothèque.

Retourner chez elle pour Noël
Abi est d’origine africaine. Elle habite en Australie depuis 2015 mais son mari et trois enfants vivent à Nairobi en Kenya Abi est une réfugiée et elle est déménagée en Australie dans le cadre du programme humanitaire. L’Australie a un programme humanitaire très généreux et chaque année, le pays accueille environ 25 000 réfugiés.
Dès le commencement de la pandémie, en 2020, elle n’a pas pu rencontrer sa famille puisque nos frontières étaient fermées et le voyage en étranger était interdit. Au cours des trois dernières années, elle travaillait comme soignante dans une maison de retraite. Elle s’occupait des personnes âgées. Elle économisait de l’argent et cette année, elle va rendre visite à sa famille. Elle est absolument aux anges.
Pendant ces dernières semaines, Abi a fait beaucoup de shopping. Elle est allée à toutes les ventes comme Black Friday et le Cyber Monday. Elle a acheté des cadeaux pour sa famille : une poupée pour sa plus petite fille, une caméra pour son fils et une horloge pour sa fille aînée. Pour son mari, elle a acheté un téléphone portable. Sans doute, son sac déborde de cadeaux. J’imagine que ce sera le meilleur Noël de tous le temps.
Elle partira le réveillon de Noël et elle arrivera le jour de Noël. Ce sera un trajet assez long. D’abords, elle prendra l’autobus de Canberra à l’aéroport de Sydney. Ensuite, elle volera avec la compagnie aérienne Emirates à Nairobi. Cependant, il faut qu’elle transite à Dubai pendant 9 heures. Elle n’a pas prévenu ses enfants qu’elle sera avec eux pour Noël. Ils seront vraiment étonnés et plus heureux que jamais : qu’elle belle surprise !

CPU Cooler
The CPU cooler in my main desktop PC died.
My PC suddenly started to shut down constantly yesterday.
The CPU fan spins but air coming from it is not warm at all.
This means that it doesn’t cool the CPU.
I checked its temperature and found out that the CPU was damn hot even when the PC was not active.
This is the worst timing.
There are a lot of things I want to do during the upcoming holidays.
I can’t do any of them without a PC
Of course, it’s already affecting my content creator activity too.
You can’t get a new part immediately even if you are an Amazon Prime member in this season.
You have to wait a few days to receive a product you buy.
So, I had to bring out my old PC and set it up.
I am glad that I didn’t sell it for small money.
It's been less than two years since I bought the new one, so it’s too early to break.
The old one is really nice actually.
Of course it’s not as powerful as the new one, but it’s so quiet and has never broken before.
It has a better PC case too.
I should have gotten the same one for the new PC…
I have been spending a lot of time dealing with this situation this weekend.
I still have a lot of things to say, but I will save them for future posts.
