Back to childhood
My mother is going to visit me this Friday.
It’s kind of wired for me to say “my mom will ‘visit’ me”. She lives in our hometwon which is a small countryside. I work at the capital of the Province. Although we almost chat online everyday, I hardly meet her in reality except the holidays and festivals after I graduated.
Time goes by, I grow into an adult, my mom back to her childhood. I care about my mom like a mother cares about her daughter. Actually, it is that she acts like a child.
In our hometown, there is a little of infrastructure like bus and subway. My mother seldom travels far. She only went to Beijing once at her thirty with my cousion and me. It was a celebration for me because I went to my grade 7 from primary school. Her another trip was going to Shanghai. Of course, it’s because of me again. I got my college degree at there. Before I left Shanghai, I invited my parents to have a travel in Shanghai.
I said a lot for proving that she was lack of the experiences of living in morden city. She cannot order the train ticket or the hotel through the smart phone APPs . She never take the subway alone. Like a child. That’s the reason I worry about her.
I have to go to work at Friday which means my mom should take the subway from the train station to my house alone. She said it’s OK but I still get nervous. It seems that she is a little girl who exicted to go to school by herself, I am the anxious mother.
Was she worry about me when I am a little girl plan to go to school by myself?lol.

¡Compañeros de intercambio!
¡Hola a todos! Espero que les vaya bien.
Estoy en la parte de mi aprendizaje del español dónde tengo que hablar con nativos con frecuencia. Así que me gustaría utilizar este diario para pedirlos si les interesaría en hacer un intercambio semanal conmigo por la aplicación Discord. La pregunta es ¿qué puedo ofrecerlos como una compañera de intercambio?
Es probable que han recibido mis correcciones antes. Puedo darlos correcciones muy claras y detalladas. Además, puedo enseñarlos la jerga de inglés y la cultura de mi país Australia si les gustaría aprenderla.
Asimismo soy comunicativa y entregada a aprender español, así que sería muy flexible con la hora de hablar. Puedo explicarlos gramática específica, sólo corregir las áreas que son relevantes a tus objetivos del aprendizaje, por ejemplo sonar natural, hablar como nativo o simplemente son capaz de hablar con nativos sin problema.

One month one topic II
Last month I decided to only reading one topic of book within that month.

Journal
Today is the last day I was in this training session. It lasted for four days from February 28th. After every Chinese communist party congress, government employees need to learn the spirit of the congresses.
This training session is to train the spirit of the 20th CPC congress and is held in a district party school. All the teachers are from a municipal party school and the central party school. But the lessons given by teachers in central party school are videos.
The training times are from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning, 2:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon, and 7:00 to 8:30 at night.
All trainees are not allowed to leave the campus during the whole training period. I feel that I am in another lockdown like I once had in the pandemic.
I think no one really wants to attend this kind of training, but as government employees, they have to.
Fortunately, the training will end by 4:30 this afternoon, and I can go home immediately afterwards. I feel very happy now.

Day 54 of My English Challenge
I think that I have an addiction to listenening to music. I listen to music even when I'm not ejoying it at all, itmakes me less productive and makes me more and more even more procrastinator. This habit of listening to music in every moment it needs to be fixed. So I'm going to stop listening to music for two weeks but I'll make an exeption if I'm practicing dancing.

Les vieilles technologies sont énervantes !
Lundi, j'avais besoin d'imprimer un script pour une évaluation. La nuit avant, j'avais essayé d'imprimer à la maison, avec une imprinante agée de plusieurs années. Elle a toujours des problèmes de raccord, alors je la réinitialiserais si elle ne pouvais pas se connecter à l'internet. Ce fois, j'avais réinitialisé quelques fois avant d'avoir abandonné. J'ai dépensé trois dollars pour imprimer mon script à la bibliothèque pendant le matin, et j'étais presque en retard pour l'évaluation à cause du besoin d'imprimer à la dernière minute.
Aujourd'hui, mon ordinateur portable, qui est aussi vieux, avait du mal à se connecter à l'internet, alors je l'ai réinitialisé. Mais après, la imprinante a commencé à imprimer mon script ! Le probléme, c'était à cause de l'ordinateur protable, pas l'imprinante. J'étais très soulagée que l'imprinante fonctionne encore, mais amusée en mauvais état que mon ordinateur ne soit plus fiable.

Un petite erreur change tout
Je viens de finir mes études et je vais finir avec diplôme avec mention. J'ai obtenu 8.9 pas mal n'est pas ?
Je devais être contente n'est pas ?
En fait, j'étais heureuse, je pensais que j'avais bien fait.
Mais il y a une chose que ne me peux pas pardonner.
Je ne serai pas membre de les personnes avec les meilleures scores. Ça sera seulement pour 3 de mes camarades.
Ça est seulement pour des étudiants qui ont 9 et plus.
J'ai bien travaillé pendant tout ma carrière mais au final pendant le dernier semestre.
J'étais distrait par un problème avec un camarade de classe.
Que nous étions des amis, nous étions très proches, on parlait toujours et il avait une petite amie donc je me sentais à l'aise avec lui. Il a une petite amie il ne va pas tomber amoureux de moi et moi non de lui. Ou ce que je pensais.
Avec le temps je me suis senti attiré par lui mais j'ai rien fait parce il avait une blonde mais lui me faisait des invitations. J'ai toujours refusé mais malheureusement j'avais déjà pris de sentiments pour lui.
Comme j'avais toujours refusé sa proposition il était énerve avec moi.
Avant un exam il était avec autre camarade en riant et en bragant.
Je ne voulais pas l'admettre mais j'étais jalouse. Il savait que j'étais jalouse et il avait continue.
À cause de ça j'ai raté l'exam. (oui, je sais que chose plus pathétique !!)
Si j'avais bien passé cet examen, j'aurais eu 9.0 et je serais parte de dès meilleures !
Je sens que j'ai tout perdu.
Maintenant je me déteste, pour avoir été faible. Un petit erreur m'a quitté un de mes rêves. D'être aux premiers places.
Je ne hais mon ex amie, je suis responsable de ne bien pas gérer mes émotions.
Je ne peux pas dire que nous avons quitté parce que nous ne étions jamais en couplé. Nous ne nous sommes même embrassé jamais.
Et quel bien que ça n'avait jamais passé.
J'ai perdu un amitié des ans et mon rêve tout à cause d'un petite erreur.

Des petites vacances à Melbourne
Demain, nous allons aller à Melbourne et je suis super excitée. Melbourne est la capitale de l’état de Victoria et c’est une ville très intéressante. La ville est surnommée la ville culturelle et sportive et elle déborde des galeries, de bons restaurants et des activités. En plus, j’ai beaucoup d’amis qu’y habitent.
Nous allons prendre notre voiture et ça va être un trajet assez longue : de Canberra à Melbourne, il y a environ 650 km. Même si les routes sont excellentes, le voyage va durer au moins 7 heures : plus si nous nous arrêterons souvent. D’habitude, mon mari et moi nous partageons la conduite. Mon mari aime conduire vite, pas moi. Bien que les autoroutes sont bonnes, il y a souvent la police attendant pour attraper les automobilistes en excès de vitesse. Bien entendu, c’est comme ça dans tous les pays, même en France. Cependant, je suis certaine que contrairement à la France, ici en Australie, nous avons des kangourous et des wombats sur la route : beaucoup plus dangereux que la police.
Alors, nous sommes prêts. Mon mari a nettoyé la voiture, rempli le réservoir d’essence et nos valises sont faites. J’ai même préparé un petit pique-nique avec des sandwichs, des gâteaux et du chocolat.

The No-English-Rule
A few weeks ago, I saw a Tedx Talk about language learning. The host was Scott Young and his friend. They went to Brazil, China, South Korea and Spain to learn a language in three months, respectively.
Their method consists, basically in one simple rule: not speaking English, but it can be applied to any language by using only your target language.
Scott Young tells us an anecdote: he went to France hoping to speak French but he only used English and when he came back, his French didn't improve as expected.
These are three steps to use the no-English-method:
1. Find someone to talk with, but only using your target language.
It can be another language learner or a native speaker.
2. Commit to talk to him/her in your target language.
3. Speak!
It's ok to make mistakes, you see, we all are humans and we do make mistakes by nature. Ask your partner to correct you when you make a mistake. Otherwise, you'll make the same mistake over and over again.

Octavo día de mi reto de español: “Siendo una voluntaria”
¡Hola a todos! Espero que les vaya bien. Empezaré la universidad en tres días. Tengo muchas cosas por hacer. Es un poco estresante aunque estoy emocionada de volver a la rutina diaria similar de cole. Por la mañana tengo que ser voluntario por un anciano. Pienso que he escrito de mi trabajando como voluntaria.
Suelo conducir a su casa y allí el hombre y yo pasamos tiempo hablándonos. Cuando lo conocí por la primera vez, me sentía muy estresada porque no soy muy habladora. Ahora, me siento feliz porque sé que habla mucho, y suele empezar las conversaciones. No me importa si las empiece o no, siempre he sido oyente.
Me ha dicho la historia de su vida y la es muy triste. Me disfrutó escucharla porque me interesa mucho cómo el mundo estaba en los dios anteriores.
La semana pasada fuimos al café local juntos y era muy amable. Creo que es su restaurante favorito que solía ir con su marida.
Originalmente, deseé que ser una voluntaria por una anciana, porque los hombres me dan nervios. Ahora que lo he conocido, no me arrepiento de nada. Él es un hombre muy agradable que le merezca la amistad de alguna persona.

Un intento blando de recordar fechas
Mi profesor me recomendó que debo escribir algo en español y creo que es un buena idea. Escuché de una característica de italki, se llama italki Notebooks. Pero parece que esta característica existe nada mas. Busqué una alternativa y encontré LangCorrect.
No me recuerdo exactamente cuando comencé estudiar español seriamente. Pero compré una suscripción de Pimsleur en fin de julio. Asi que creo que comencé entonces. Y comencé estudiar tarjetas de apredizaje seriamente en fin de octubre.
Asi que estudio español hace siete meses. Pense que fue nueve meses, desde junio. Tambien tenía una suscripción de Pimsleur de enero a fin de abril dos mil veintidos. No me recuerdo si usaba lo mucho entonces. Supongo que lo usé un mes entonces.
Eso no fue muy interesante leer. Quise escribir cosas que encontré interesante en Mexico y español, pero no tengo tiempo ahora. Proxima entrada.

Question
“I had a cute cat watch me play the drums.”
This sentence was written by a native English teacher while he corrected a Chinese person’s English writing.
I have two questions about this sentence: 1, as “had” is in past tense, why is “watch” in present simple tense? 2, according to my knowledge in English, shouldn’t “watch” be “to watch”，or “watching?” I don’t dare doubt a native English speaker’s English, but I can’t understand this English sentence. I am really confused.

Movie review "The Whale"
Yesterday I watched the movie "The whale" and I know that this movie was nominated for Oscar, but in my opinion, just one thing can be nominated for Oscar, its actor's play, that's it. I spent almost two hours watching it and felt just fury. The main character wastes his life... I know he loses his partner and it's a big distress, but all people in whole the world have big problems and every minute somebody loses a close partner. If all these people will try to kill themselves in different ways (for example eating junk food) then just animals will stay alive. I read reviews where were a lot of sorry to the main character, in my opinion, it's not fair. We must be sorry for people who have no opportunity to enjoy their life but not for people who don't want to use their chances. He did not appreciate his friend, it was his big mistake (maybe his mind was so blind that he didn't see how she could help him make his life happier). Of course, I will remember this movie because I felt a lot of emotions spectra. If the main director's target was waking up viewers' emotions so this work was done well.

Le talon d’Achille
C’est une expression utilisée pour indiquer le point faible d’une chose ou d’une personne. Le terme vient de la littérature classique. Achille était le plus fort guerrier de la Grèce antique grâce à son invulnérabilité. Il était invulnérable parce que sa mère, Thétis, l’avait plongé dans le fleuve Styx, mais son talon n’avait pas touché l’eau. À la fin de l’Iliade le prince troyen Pâris l’a tué avec une flèche empoisonnée dans le talon, désolée du spoiler.
Au début des années 2000, la téléréalité Big Brother était vraiment populaire en Italie, après sa diffusion une émission pour commenter les événements les plus drôles a été créée, elle s’appelait « Mai dire Grande Fratello » (traduction : ne jamais dire Big Brother). Le segment le plus populaire a été celui des auditions, où l’audience pouvait voir des personnages bizarres.
Une fois il y avait des personnes qui ne savent pas le sens de la question : « Quel est ton talon d’Achille ? » et qui donnent des réponses absurdes. Un jeune a dit une phrase iconique « Mon talon de tueur ? », qu’en italien est « Il mio tallone da killer? », la prononciation est similaire ! À partir de ce jour cette expression est entrée dans mon vocabulaire et je l’utilise beaucoup, aussi parce que mon vrai talon d’Achille est éternellement enflammé.

任天堂の『ポケットモンスター』シリーズは、この25年に渡って数多くのファンを集めてきた大人気の育成ロールプレイングゲーム（RPG）です。その最新作、ポケットモンスタースカーレット・バイオレット（ポケモンSV）は、2022年11月18日に発売されました。ポケモンの新作はいつも話題になりますが、今作に加わったシリーズ初の要素、特にオープンワールド形式により、大きな注目を集めています。この大胆な変更はだいぶ前からファンに望まれていたのですが、SVはその期待に応えたのか、それとも外れたのか？バイオレットを25時間弱くらいプレイした上で、レビューをしていきたいと思います。
舞台となるのは、人間と「ポケモン」という不思議な生き物が共存している世界に存在するパルデア地方です。パルデア地方は現実のスペインがモデルであり、荒野や山、湖など、豊かな自然で溢れています。主人公は有名なポケモン学校に在籍している生徒で、ストーリの始まりは、主人公が「宝探し」という課外授業として初めての冒険へ旅立つところです。ゲームのシステムは、オーソドックスなRPGで、プレーヤーはポケモンと組んで、ポケモントレーナーと野生ポケモンとのバトルを通して強くなります。ゲームの目的は、ポケモン博士に貰ったポケモン図鑑を完成させたり、「ジム」を巡り最も強い「ポケモンチャンピオン」というトレーナーになったりすることです。手持ちのポケモンを6匹までしか持てない制限があるため、ゲームの根本的な攻略は数百のポケモンの中でどのように６匹を厳選し、効率よく育成するかということです。
これらの基本的な部分では、本作は過去作とだいぶ似ていますが、オープンワールド要素を導入することで、シリーズの醍醐味を継承しながら新しい魅力を生み出しています。従来の作品では、ストーリーの進行に制限がかなり多く、プレーヤーはあらかじめ決められた道で進むしかなかったのですが、本作では、どのような道を選んでストーリーをクリアさせるかはプレーヤー次第です。ジムから始めるか、いきなり東北の山を探索するかなど、数多くの選択肢によりプレーヤーの自由度がぐっと高くなりました。それだけではなく、ストーリーの展開も面白く、登場する悪の組織「スター団」という不良グループにもキャラが立つ人物は驚くほど多いです。
とはいっても、本作にはファンが魅力を感じる要素があるにもかかわらず、どうしてもお粗末な点も多く、課題も残る作品だと言わざるを得ません。結論から言いますと、ファンであればあるほど楽しいですが、逆にポケモンファンではなく「話題になっているから買おうかな？」と迷っている方は少し待った方がいいかもしれません。後半では、本作の悪い点を挙げて詳しく説明していきたいと思います。

The right choice
It is normal to get in trouble when we don't know the right way of doing something, but what happens when we know the right choice and still we choose the wrong way.
I truly do not understand why is this even an issue, you have right there what you need to do, but there's something inside of your mind that stops you.
I am not even talking about moral issues, the simply do not stay until late without a good reason.
Why is so difficult to do the right?
It often happens to me that I know perfectly why I must not do, but I struggle a lot for getting rid of the intrusive thoughts.
This is the nature of mankind, I guess.

Это может быть связано с тем, что, когда люди разговаривают с детьми, они говорят о простых понятиях и вещах, происходящих вокруг них, которые можно понять из контекста. Взрослые чаще имеют дело с абстрактными понятиями и мыслями. Вот почему видео, использующие «понятный ввод», полезны для взрослых учащихся, так как язык можно объяснить с помощью изображений и жестов так же, как они объясняются ребенку. При изучении любого нового навыка важно иметь мышление новичка.

Marta: Oye Juan, ¿qué fue lo último que compraste?
Juan: Pues, compré un libro sobre la historia de la moda. Me encanta la moda y siempre me gusta aprender más sobre ella.
Marta: ¡Qué interesante! A mí también me gusta mucho la moda. ¿Qué cosas nuevas aprendiste con el libro?
Juan: Aprendí muchas cosas interesantes, como por ejemplo la historia del vestido negro, que se hizo popular gracias a Coco Chanel. Y también aprendí sobre la evolución de los zapatos de tacón.
Marta: ¡Guau, qué interesante! A mí me encanta la moda, pero nunca he leído un libro sobre ella. La próxima vez que vayas a comprar un libro así, avísame y me lo prestas.
Juan: ¡Por supuesto! Pero cuéntame, ¿tú qué compraste últimamente?
Marta: Pues, compré una batidora nueva. La que tenía antes se descompuso y estaba haciendo unos ruidos raros.
Juan: Jajaja, entiendo. Una batidora nueva siempre es útil, sobre todo para hacer smoothies.
Marta: Sí, la verdad es que me gusta hacer smoothies y licuados en el desayuno. Y ahora con la batidora nueva puedo hacerlos más rápido.
Juan: ¡Qué bien! La verdad es que hay que aprovechar las herramientas que tenemos para hacer nuestra vida más fácil. ¿Qué sabor de smoothie te gusta más?
Marta: Me encanta hacer smoothies de frutas, como fresas, plátanos y mangos. Y a veces también le pongo un poco de espinaca para darle un toque saludable.
Juan: ¡Suena delicioso! Bueno, me alegro de que hayas encontrado una nueva batidora. Ahora solo queda probarla con un smoothie delicioso.

Qui est ton artiste de musique préféré ?

Jacques : Salut Emilie, mon artiste préféré est sans aucun doute Edith Piaf. Je ne peux pas me lasser de ses chansons poignantes.
Emilie : Edith Piaf ? Mais c'est un peu démodé, non ?
Jacques : Peut-être pour toi, mais pour moi, c'est la reine de la chanson française. Et puis, je suis sûr que tu préfères quelque chose de plus moderne comme... disons... DJ Snake ?
Emilie : DJ Snake ? Sérieusement ? Je préfère mille fois les Beatles !
Jacques : Les Beatles ? Mais ce n'est pas de la musique française !
Emilie : Ah oui, c'est vrai. Mais ils ont influencé la musique dans le monde entier. Et puis, tu ne peux pas nier que "Hey Jude" est l'une des plus grandes chansons de tous les temps.
Jacques : Je suppose que tu as raison. Mais pour moi, Edith Piaf reste la meilleure.
Emilie : Je te comprends, chacun ses goûts en musique. Et puis, c'est ce qui rend la musique si intéressante, non ? Il y a tellement de genres et d'artistes différents.
Jacques : Exactement ! C'est ce qui rend la vie si belle. Chacun peut trouver son propre style musical qui le touche.
