暮らしや家事など日常生活についての言葉の練習
今年中に日本語能力試験N2を受けようと思って、語彙力を伸ばすために、「初めての日本語能力試験N3単語2000」という教科書を使って語彙を勉強していきます。正直、この本の言葉はほぼ知っていますが、練習のためにもN3から始めようと思います。今日は、第２章の言葉をつかって、作文を書いてみよう。
金曜日は掃除の日です。朝から家をきれいにしていました。子供たちはリビングにおもちゃを散らかしたので、片づけました。それに、数日前の砂嵐のせいで、ほこりがあちこちに積もっていて、床を掃く前に机の上をきちんと雑巾で拭きました。ほうきで玄関を掃きましたが、家の中には掃除機を使いました。掃いたごみはちりとりに集めて、ごみ箱に捨てました。そして、バケツに水を入れたあと、水に洗剤を入れてまぜました。雑巾をしぼって床やまどをピカピカに磨きました。お風呂のカビを取るためにブラシで洗いました。
掃除していた間、夫は洗濯物をしていました。外で遊ぶので、幼児の服は特に汚いです。汚れを落とすために、洗濯機に強い洗剤を入れて、服を洗いました。きれいになった服を乾燥機で乾燥させました。そのあと、汚れた雑巾を太陽の下に外で干しました。
乾いた洗濯物は長女と一緒にたたんで、クローゼットに入れました。仕事の服はアイロンをかけました。最後にベッドに清潔なシーツを敷きました。

La nice cream (alias la crème glacée à la banane)
La nice cream est un délicieux dessert, et une de mes gâteries préférées. Elle est faite de banane congelée et d'aromatisant (par exemple, la poudre de cacao, l’essence de vanille, des feuilles de menthe, des fraises, etc). C’est à l’origine un dessert végan. En fait, le nom anglais est un jeu de mots : c’est comme « ice cream », mais c’est « nice » pour les animaux. Mais je pense que tout le monde peut en profiter. J'adore ça principalement parce qu’elle est tellement simple et saine. J'achète quelques bananes et les congèle. Ensuite, chaque fois que je veux un petit plaisir, je peux faire une portion de nice cream. De plus, elle est saine parce qu’elle n’est que des fruits. Il n’y a pas de sucre ajouté. Elle est aussi très personnalisable : on peut choisir n’importe quel parfum. Ironiquement, c’est difficile d’utiliser la saveur banane, parce qu’elle est dérivée d’un produit chimique artificiel. Mais ce n’est pas grave. La nice cream est froide, douce et onctueuse, et je peux vous recommander. Pour le faire, commencez par une banane congelée. Passez-le au micro-onde pendant 30 secondes. Ensuite, écrasez-le à la fourchette. Elle devrait encore être en grande partie congelée, et juste un peu adouci. Enfin, ajoutez un aromatisant et mélangez. Bon appétit !

Meine Pläne dieses Wochenende
Dieses Wochenende habe ich geplant, an einer App zu arbeiten. Ich bin nämlich Informatiker. Derzeit suche ich nach einem Masterstudiengang. Deswegen will ich verschiedene solche Optionen vergleichen. Meine Idee ist, eine Seite, in der man nach einem Masterstudiengang suchen kann und mehrere Optionen sehen. Vielleicht gibt es schon eine solche Seite. Allerdings erlauben mir diese Art von Projekten, mit neuer Technologie zu experimentieren. Außerdem habe ich vor, zu lesen und spazieren zu gehen.

Things about Languages (1)
It's so lucky for us that we have numerous materials and opportunities to learn languages in this century. I was born and raised in a small city in Guangdong Province, and I naturally speak the local mainstream dialect, which belongs to the broader Cantonese dialect family. Here, "Cantonese" refers to the broader sense of the term, including many branches. In the narrower sense, Cantonese refers to the standard Cantonese accent (commonly used in Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and other places)—yet even within that, there are many subtle differences.
The mainstream dialect in my hometown, along with other dialects in western Guangdong, is quite different from the standard Cantonese accent in terms of pronunciation. Back in the days when everyone loved watching TV, I learned the standard Cantonese accent from TV dramas, and I used it when traveling to Guangzhou for the first time as a university student. Those pronunciations, like a precious gift, have been stored in my mind for years.
Sometimes people online discuss whether Cantonese is a language or a dialect. In academia, it seems to be a language rather than a dialect, since it differs from Putonghua in many aspects. However, in a general sense, it is a dialect of Chinese, or rather a variety of Chinese. Some may think this kind of problem is troublesome or annoying—are these people from Guangdong showing off their culture or intentionally differentiating themselves from others?
Just the other day, a lady expressed her confusion about today's children's attitude towards Cantonese in her post, because children are not willing to learn or use Cantonese, or even watch Cantonese TV dramas anymore. The phenomenon extends beyond standard Cantonese—other dialects of Cantonese, and even other dialects of Chinese, are facing the fact that the younger generation tends to use Putonghua only, lacking the motivation to know their own dialects. As a result, parents and grandparents start to talk with their kids in Putonghua rather than dialects.
This is one of the influences of the popularization of Putonghua. Years ago, when I was a primary school student, we were encouraged to speak Putonghua, and there was a sign promoting it on the wall at school. Now, young people from Guangdong no longer speak Putonghua as badly as their parents did; many of us are able to speak it fluently. Some people from other provinces praised my Putonghua, saying, "You don't have an accent." I'm proud of myself, but at the same time, I'm aware of the importance of preserving our own dialects.
In recent years, Sichuan dialect and Shanghai dialect have become more common in movies. I'm glad that people are trying to express themselves in their own dialects. By understanding people through their own dialects, we can actually learn and feel more parts of our national culture. The use of dialects and languages should be flexible, diverse, and tolerant, depending on the specific situation, so that we can all enjoy communication. It's necessary that we all learn a universal language to make things smoother, but maintaining our dialects is also meaningful and significant.

学生の時に、少しフランス語とドイツ語を勉強しました。上達するために、２０１９年の夏にデュオリンゴというスマホアプリをダウンロードして使い始めました。ストリーク機能がありますから、毎日使っていました。でも、やがて学ぶことよりストリークを伸びることに集中してしまいました。だから、初めに言語学習をしたかったんですけど、かえって毎日何も学ばないで、ストリークを伸びるためにできるだけ早くアプリで何かをしました。日本語を勉強し始めたとき、デュオリングで日本語も学び始めました。今も使っていますけど、毎日同じレッスンをします。それは「一、二、三」の書き方についてです。全然役に立ちませんけど、十秒ぐらいかかるし、今のストリークは２１６３日間ですから、なんとなく続けたいです。ちょっとおかしいですね。

Der Karolingische Zyklus
Der Karolingische Zyklus ist ein literarischer Zyklus, der drei Hauptsammlungen von Liedern umfasst. Diese Sammlungen heißen „geste“. Dieses Wort (hier ein Femininum) ist als „Heldentat“ zu verstehen. Im literarischen Sinne bezeichnet „geste“ ein bestimmtes versifiziertes Lied, das solche Heldentaten erzählt, oder eine Sammlung von verschiedenen Liedern, die sich mit den Abenteuern einer gleichen Familie oder Gesellschaft beschäftigen. Immer erzählen sie militärische Leistungen, also könnte das man das Wort als „Heldensang“ übersetzen, nach dem Muster von „Minnesang“. Viele Mediävisten wären sicher einer anderen Meinung, aber „Heldensang“ gefällt mir!
Es gibt im Karolingischen Zyklus drei „gestes“. „La Geste du roi“ („Die Heldensänge des Königs“) umfasst Lieder über das heldenhafte Leben Figuren der französischen königlichen Familien, vor allem von Karl dem Großen. „La Chanson de Roland“ („Rolandslied“), die berühmteste Erzählung des Karolingischen Zyklus, gehört zu jener ersten Gruppe. In der zweiten, „La Geste de Guillaume d’Orange“ („Die Heldensänge Wilhelms von Orange“), geht es meistens um die Kriege gegen die Sarazenen in Südfrankreich zur Zeit Ludwigs des Frommen. Die dritte, „La Geste de Doon de Mayence“ („Die Heldensänge Doons des Mainzer“) stellt die Kämpfe einer Familie empörter Freiherrn gegen den König vor.
Die drei „gestes“ bilden zusammen die so-genannte „matière de France“, im Gegensatz zu der „matière de Bretagne“ (die Romane der Artuslegende) und zu der „matière de Rome“ (die von der römischen und griechischen Mythologie inspirierten Werke).

Do social media have more advantages or disadvantages?

Social media is a very powerful tool these days.
It allows to get in contact with almost the whole world. You can stay in contact with your friends, even if they're on the other side of the planet.
Also you can gain new friendships and even new work-relationships.
Some people find their dream job trough social media, for others social media is their dream job.
But social media platforms are not always as shiny as the may seems.
On social media everybody wants to impress, and so they just show the best sides of their lives, jobs, holidays or even of their bodies.
Especially the last point can be very dangerous for our younger users. Because if they compare each other with fake bodies, and fake faces they want to become like them. They get like a blindness if they're confronted with these pictures every day and that means that they're no longer able to recognize what is fake and what is real.
This can lead to conditions such as eating disorders or diabetes.

Breakfast
Usually I have no appetite in the morning, so I just eat some fruit or yogurt. If I need to do physical work, I prefer to eat some bread with jam (I like orange jam with orange peel in it). When I was a kid, my grandpa would prepare hot milk and a kind of special biscuits for my breakfast. The biscuits are dry when eaten on their own, but they taste delicious when soaked in milk. I used to love it, but...after eating them for breakfast for three years, I got tired of them. To be honest, now I miss them, because I can't buy them in the city I live.

I Carpentieri
Di recente stavo da un amico perché mi ha chiesto aiuto per costruire una casetta da giardino. La sua vecchia era diventata marcia e alla fine è crollata e pensava di creare la nuova da solo. A quanto pare, non avendo mai costruito prima neanche la più semplice cosa, voleva buttarsi con l'incarico di fare una casetta intera! Quando gli ho chiesto "Ma come lo facciamo, cosa sarebbe il piano?" Mi ha risposto solo con: "Ho una sega, ho un martello e ho visto una casetta..."
Alla fine sono riuscito a convincerlo che dovessimo cominciare con qualcosa di meno impegnativo, credendo che saremmo stati poveri dilettanti allo sbaraglio, e abbiamo deciso invece di provare una piccola libreria autoportante (molto meglio per i principianti no?). C'è stata comunque un bel po da misurare, martellare, segare e anche forare ma, dato che eravamo in due, non c'abbiamo messo molto tempo e ce l'abbiamo fatta... ovviamente però, devo dirvi che il risultato non richiede un prezzo altissimo ma sarebbe adatta per mettere dentro questa "casetta" quando finalmente arriverà.

Des aventures
Il est difficile de donner une seule réponse à une question pareille. Cela s'applique d'une manière différente selon le contexte de la vie. Tout comme pour les peurs, il y a une grande portée de l'intensité en émotion et en réponse involontaire qu'on expérience pour chacun. J'essaie souvent de sortir de ma zone de confort, puisque je pense que cela est critique pour l’épanouissement personnel. Tout cela dit, il reste encore plusieurs zones dont je n’ai aucune intention de me sortir. En général, je prends en considération plusieurs aspects avant d'entreprendre une sortie. Parmi d'autres, voici aspects es plus importants : l'intensité de l'inconfort, l'utilité de l'activité, et l'effort exigé pour s'en sortir. Par exemple, j'ai peur de l'eau profonde, mais je ne m'attends jamais à être dans l'eau profonde, alors, il y a peu d'utilité là-dedans. En revanche, présenter devant les gens me fait peur et cela peut être utile dans la vie. Idéalement, je pourrais défier toutes mes craintes, mais il faut prioriser celles qui sont les plus importantes. Au fur et à mesure, je vais les affronter. Il me reste encore beaucoup de vie à vivre, au moins j'espère !
