Attitude to subjects
When I was at middle school, I liked geography the most. We learnt something like how many big mountains, rivers, deserts and so on in China. Our geography teacher Chen loved to draw a big China map on blackboard then told us above things. The reason why I liked geography the most was because it was visible and touchable. Because I had a good grades in geography, teacher Chen always let me revised our classmate's geography test paper with a few other students after every test. I thought this should be the most glorious thing I had do in middle school. But things didn't always go well like this, in my impression, I had got a score just overing forty in a mathematics quiz and I don't even know what's going on until now. History was the subject I hated the most because I thought it was very boring and I had to remember a lot of contents about it. Physical was the subject we loved the most; we regarded it just as a playing activity. It means we don't have to take textbook and just do some playing games; If you don't want to do it, you can just relax you self at will. The other subjects are fine, and I can't say I like it or dislike it. These are my attitudes toward the all subjects when I was in middle school.

Obesity in Modern Life
All over the world, societies are facing a growing problem with obesity. This problem affects both children and adults. What are the reasons for this rise in obesity? How could it be tackled?
Over the last few years, population of many countries have become overweight and obese. Today, this issue concerns adults and children alike. In Russia, 40 per cent of adult population is overweight. In this essay I will look at the main reasons for growing of obesity and propose some solutions.
One of the reasons is eating junk food. People often don’t have time to cook proper meal, therefore they make do with pre-prepared meals from grocery stores and supermarkets. In my city, every store offers a variety of snacks, burgers and other fast-food for customers. The solution is for the government to bring a law that will increase a tax fees for fast-food. As a result, people choose to buy healthier food for the same price.
Secondly, another reason is a poor eating culture in general. That is to say, many of us pick snacks on the run, dine in front of the television and eat too frequently during the day. For example, in yoga, it is recommended to have at least a eight- or 16-hour gap between meals. To tackle this problem, each individual must be aware of their eating habits. If it happens, we will have a society of healthier and more conscious people.
The last important reason is the lack of movement in our daily lives. It is common in modern world that most of the work requires people to sit on their chair. To compare, during evolution of man, our ancestors spend most of the time on feet hunting, looking for food and migrating. This difference in modern life consequently makes human body suffer from bunch of diseases, including obese as well. Addressing this issue involves people to make effort to add a bit physical activity. A short, 20-minute walk, gymnastics or yoga will be enough and hopefully is going to solve this problem.
To sum up, obesity is great problem of modern societies. Junk food and immoderate eating, along with the lack of activity in daily life, pose risks of gaining weight for many people. Unless people start to look after their diet, most of the population is going to become obese. I believe that peoples’ health in their hand and everyone should take steps to solve issue for themselves.
PS. When I finished, I realized that I didn't mention children in the essay at all...

この番組では他の知識が必要なので、説明する。
日本語では「つ」は時々、「っ」になる。「つ」次字は声はない子音（か）であれば、多分「っ」になると思う。
（ドン）
三の読み方は「さん」と「みつ」だ。
前の数字の同じく、普通の漢字の読み方の様子が違うけど、前の数字を比べて、三の読み方の様子がちょっと推測することができる。結婚した形（音読み）は「さん」ので、三日、三つ、三日月では訓読みが表れる。残り様子では「さん」が表れる。一つ結婚した様子では「みつ」が表れる。例えば、三枚と、三人と、三月の「三」の読み方は「さん」だ。数はそなに難しくない！ぜひ、「三」がある言葉があれば、読み方を推測してください。

Segeln auf dem Meer
Heute ware ich auf dem Meer mit meiner Tochter segeln.
Es war ihre erstes Mal in einem Segelboot. Wir waren mit meinem Schwiegervater.
Für mich ist segeln fantastisch. Aber es hat ihr nicht so gut gefallen. Sie hat Angst gehabt und sie wollte zu Hause zurückgehen. Sie hat gesagt dass, es wirklich schrecklich ist, im Boot zu sein.
Es war ganz ruhig, kein hohes Wasser und die Sonne scheint. Ich fühlte mich sehr glücklich, um diese Erfahrung mit meiner Tochter zu Teilen. Aber meine Tochter war ganz traurig und sie hat es furchtbar gefunden.
Ich hoffe dass, meine Tochter in der Zukunft segeln probieren wird.

Momentos Inolvidables
A lo largo del largo camino que es aprender otra idioma, hay momentos inolvidables, momentos que te hacen sentir lleno de vida con la conexión humana que ocurre. Te voy a contar uno de ellos que pasó a mí pareja la que también está aprendiendo español.
Hace unos años, mí pareja, Emily, llegó al aeropuerto de Newark, fuera de Nueva York, tras de un viaje de trabajo. Cuando alcanzó la salida para pedir un taxi fuera del aeropuerto, su mirada se cruzó con la del un viejito que estaba esperando nerviosamente. Él se vistió de lino blanco con una maleta a su lado. Emily podía sentir la preocupación en la cara de él y supongo que él pudiera sentir la dulzura de ella. Después de unos momentos, el viejito le preguntó con humildad a ella si hablaba español a la que Emily respondió que sí pero poco. Al decir esas palabras, la tensión en su cara se echó a relajar. Él le explicó a Emily con un mezcla de emociones fuertes que era su primera vez en EEUU y había llegado desde Cuba para vivir con su hija quien es médica pero no habías visto durante décadas, y resultaba que su móvil no funciona como había esperado y no tenía nada para comunicar con ella. Hablando en español, Emily le ofreció su móvil y habló con la hija para explicar donde estuvieron. El viejito cubano se echó a llorar, y le dió lo que imagino es un gran señal de respeto y gratitud en su época, un beso a la mano de Emily.

The Man Who Wasn't There - Una Buena Película
Acabo de mirar The Man Who Wasn't There, una película desde 2001, dirigido por Joel Coen y producido por su hermano Ethan Coen.
Esta película es una de mis favoritas de los hermanos.
En la película, un peluquero, Ed Crain, descubre que su esposa lo está engañando con un orto hombre. Crain mata al otro hombre, pero primero trata de chantajearlo. Entonces Crain se atraído hacia muchas actividades criminales para evitar la policía.
Es un film noir pero hay elementos de ciencia ficción.
Se me encanta y la recomiendo mucho!

Une coupure d’internet
Aujourd’hui, à midi dans l’Ontario, l’internet arrêtait de marcher. Personne ne pouvait envoyer des e-mails n’utilisait l’internet du tout. Parce qu’il faut que j’utilise l’internet pour mon travail et je ne pouvait pas l’utiliser, j’ai décidé d’aller au supermarché pour acheter la nourriture pour dîner. Après ça, je suis aller à rendre visite au soudeur parce que j’ai eu un devoir pour lui. Pour le reste de la journée, j’ai pris un congé. Je ne pouvais pas travailler et il y avait des autres chose chez moi que je devais faire.

Would people be happier if they could live forever?
These days, you can live much longer than those in the past, and many of you seem to be happy about that. However, when it comes to living forever, I believe you would not be happy any more. Living forever means you would never die, and it means you can try anything over and over again, no matter how many times you fail. This repetitions might not be fun or exciting for you, since in most of the cases, it is the fact that life is short and limited, which makes your lives thrilling.
In addition, the longer you live, the more stress you have. It is true that you would be able to enjoy a lot of fun things if you could live permanently. However, this could not make up for many bad things that would happen to you.

Wie viel Wasser trinkt ihr jeden Tag?
Wir wissen, dass das Wasser ziemlich wichtig für unsere Gesundheit ist. Ernährungswissenschaftler erklären, dass man jeden Tag mindestens zwei Liter Wasser trinken sollte. Trotzdem trinken manche Menschen weniger als zwei Liter Wasser. Besonders ist das Wasser-Trinken wichtig in diesen Zeiten, da es das Immunsystem verstärkt.
Deshalb versuche ich jeden Tag, zwei Liter Wasser zu trinken. Allerdings ist es eine Herausforderung für mich, jeden Tag zwei Liter Wasser zu trinken.

Pourquoi veux-je apprendre le français?
Il y a un peu de raisons que je veux apprendre le français.
Première, j'ai appris le français à l'école mais j'ai oublié tout! J'éspere que je peux faire mieux ce temps.
Deuxième, ma copine est française et elle peux parler l'anglais et l'italien parfaits aussi! Je veux apprendre le français pour parle le français avec elle et elle impressionner.
Troisième, le français est une matière très différente que ma matière d'université, et j'aime faire quelque chose différent.
Je sias que il y a beaucoup d'erreurs, mais j'éspere vous pouvez m'aider.

Update on the Bats
On the weekend, I have written a journal about the bats that had flown into my bedroom.
I received four corrections on it, plus some encouragement. Thank you for that.
As you have asked for an update, here it is.
First, I tried to convince the bats not because I was worried, but because I was not sure how my wife would react to them. I know that she has a panic when she sees a toad, but about bats, I didn't know. When she came back from work (she works on weekends, her job is one of those people applauded to recently), everything was fine. She found the bats cute and gave them names.
When I checked at dawn, they were gone. They seem to be considerate animals: they made no noise and left no bat poop on the floor.
I have also found out what species the two belong to. It's the most common species of bats in here, and in summer, they look for a new place to sleep every morning. So, they haven't come back.
Maybe I will invest into bat houses this autumn. While it's easy and cheap to buy them, it's hard to install them on the outside wall of the house. If they are not high enough above ground, the bats don't find them. Climbing up really high on the ladder and drilling holes up there is, on the other side, a bit dangerous.

Question - Night Activity
Could you tell me any recommendations for activities that would help us learn English, like the 20 questions game? (https://www.englishhints.com/question-game.html)
In the English training I am currently participating in, I need to plan and hold a simple activity that will help the participants learn English.
In detail:
* Activities will be held for about an hour after the training.
* Since the activity is held online using ZOOM, it is preferable only conversation without using any tools.
* Although the number of participants is 18, we can divide it into several groups by using the ZOOM function.
* I've already done Shiritori. Shiritori is a word game in Japan in which one player has to say a word starting with the last syllable of the word given by the previous player.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai lu sur le passé composé. Je suis impatient d'apprendre plus de grammaire. Je pense que ça va m'aider à mieux comprendre le français. Hier, j'ai regardé un film intitulé « Viva Las Vegas ». C'est une comédie musicale de 1964. J'adore Elvis Presley et j'aime regarder les films avec lui. Je pense il est le plus grand musicien. Je prevois de lire sa biographie parce que je pense il est trés fascinant.

Corona-Demo in Berlin
Ich habe kürzlich ein Video einer Demonstration von Menschen gesehen, die nicht an das Corona-Virus glauben, das letzten Samstag in Berlin stattgefunden hat.
Ich war schockiert und angewidert zu sehen, wie dumm und gewalttätig Menschen sind.
Eine Reporterin wurde von den Demonstranten verflucht und bedroht, da sie die einzige Person war, die eine Schutzmaske trug.
Für mich ist es etwas völlig Absurdes und Unglaubliches, dass es immer noch Menschen gibt, die so idiotisch sind, dass sie die Existenz einer Pandemie leugnen, der wir leben.
Es ist absurd für mich zu sehen, wie sich Menschen ohne Schutzmasken treffen, um absurde Verschwörungstheorien zu verteidigen, die von rechtsextremen Parteien durchgeführt werden. Dies kann das Leben des Virus verlängern und auch mehr Menschen infizieren und töten. Es ist zu verantwortungslos!
Viele sagten, sie verletzten ihre Rechte als Bürger, aber das Virus kennt oder respektiert keine Gesetze oder Barrieren.
Ich dachte, dass es nur hier in Brasilien solche Leute gibt, aber ich sehe, dass sie überall existieren.
Benutzen die ignoranten Leute noch ignorantere Leute als sie.

Der Rennfahrer
Als ich ein Kind war, wollte ich Rennfahrer werden. Immer habe ich mich für Autos und Rennen interessiert. Als ich ein Junge war, konnte ich fast jedes Auto, das ich auf die Straße sah, identifizieren. Rennfahrer war für mich mein Traumjob, obwohl ich wusste, dass es sehr teuer war, in die Welt der Rennen zu beginnen. Heute nehme ich teile an Kart-Rennen, aber das ist für mich kein Job, sondern ein Hobby. Es macht trotzdem viel Spaß, und obwohl ich nicht an meinem Traumjob arbeite, kann ich an die Motorsport-Welt teilnehmen und genießen.

the standards of a president
In 2016, a bleak year of some, it is the last year of Obama's term-end. And a new president, Donald Trump, will strut on the world stage. I still remember the second day when Trump won in the election, people fell in bleak mood in my school. Through my teachers' eyes, I knew they cried overnight and didn't accept the truth that Trump became the new president. In my English class, my teacher choked and looked upset. She required to write a short essay for the personal review of Trump. As an only international student in the class, I hard to understand why they had a heavy-reaction. For this result, I can't write down anything. On my way, as a Chinese who grow up in a dictatorship system, I believe that President Trump enables make America great again. On the other side, I don't want my fatherland to face a restarting America. so that, I also disappointed Trump's won. Under the reaction of Trump's won in my school, I was inspired and started thinking about what are the standards of a president and why the majority don't like Trump until now.
