Die Serie ''Ratched'' auf Netflix

In der gegangenen Woche fühlte ich mich wegen der Angst vor Prüfung gelangweilt und gestresst. Deshalb habe ich mich dafür entschieden, die Serie ''Ratched'' zu schauen. Da auch American Horror Story mir gefallen hat. Seitdem folge ich die Hauptschauspielerin, Sarah Paulson, und den Regisseur mit großen Neugier.

Es handelt sich um eine Protagonistin, die mysteriöserweise in eine Stadt einzieht und sich für eine Arbeitsstelle als Krankenschwester bewerbt. Am Anfang an hat man das Mitgefühl mit dieser klugen Frau. Da sie wirkt, als ob sie für jede Charaktere einen guten nachgedenkten Plan vorhaben würde.

Die Kostümen und Schminken aus 1960er Jahren bespiegeln damaligen Kleidungsstil mit Erfolg.
Der Schauspielkunst der Schauspielerin und anderen Schauspielern sind anspruchsvoll. Obwohl die Serie nicht abwechslungsreich ist, verliert man sich beim Vorgehen der Szenen.

Beim Schauen habe ich bemerkt, dass einige psychische Behandlungsmethoden und Eingriffen in der Geschichte der Medizin wirklich passiert sind. Dadurch habe ich mich plötzlich an der Film erinnert, in dem Jack Nicholson die Rolle einem Patienten gespielt hat. Nach kurzem Suchen auf Google habe ich herausgefunden, dass die beiden Verfilmungen aus demselben Buch stammen. Dieser süße Zufall hat mich erleichtert bis es mir eingefallen hat, dass ich eine Prüfung ablegen muss.

If I had 10% better memory, I could gain more knowledge.

I think, good memory one of the important parts of learning. For learn languages, you need to have a constant vocabulary. If you have 10% better memory you can understand 10% information more. For one sentence 10 % equal approximately to one word. Sometimes one word is not enoung to understand sentence more clearly. I think we can improve our memory if we will be training it. I think leaning something by heart is a good approach to improve your memory.
When I had enough time, it was before the birthday of my son I was memorizing at home a song and repeating it when I was driving a car. It was a good experience to memorizing new words and training of pronunciation. I interrupted this practice but, I think, I will continue it in the near future.

My experience of using Coursera

After a short dive into the Coursera, I’d like to share my opinion. Coursera is extremely easy to use. I like how I can access the courses for free, and learn a new knowledge. They offer certificates, but you should pay for it. Most of the courses is general and the topics are common. On this site I didn’t found deeper and narrower topics for me. I took a part of The Science of Gastronomy course and found it to be informative for common users. The sections were easy to understand. But frankly, this course was very easy for me. I just consolidated the knowledge I already had. There was little new information for me. Maybe I should try other more advanced courses.

Hot English Magazine as a resource to learn English

I've engaged with different English learning materials for quite some time and have seen many things. I wish I had discovered Hot English Magazine earlier. Due to its fun, engaging, and very often educational content this magazine is now at the top of my learning list materials.

Today, I've opened the issue number 196 and read about Sylvester Stallone and was surprised to find out that the script for Rocky for written by him personally. The article was full of interesting vocabulary and very from being dull to read.

I enjoyed it very much.

How about you? I understand that you are a native and probably don't engage with ESL learning materials, yet, I guess that you have had enough communication with people from other cultures who shared with you their findings. If that's the case, do you care to share?

Wie hat die Einschließung Ihre beeinflusst? Für mich hat sie
die Grenze zwischen den verschidenen Bereiche verwischen. Wochenende oder Wochentage existieren nicht mehr. Ein Tag mischt mit anderen Tag. Ich kochte während arbeiten und arbeitete während essen. Ich habe mir das Rapunzel-Syndrom gelassen haben. Dieser Ennui führt zu komische Vorfälle.

Immer wenn koche ich indische Essen, benutze ich den Senfsamen wie ein Gewürz. Ich gebe den Senfsamen im heißen Öl hinzu. Heute, sechs Monate später, als fülle ich den Besser des Senfsamens nach, ich erkenne , dass ich bis jetzt die Ragihirse nicht den Senfsamens benutzte. Die Ragihirse und der Senfsamen schauen ähnlich mit geringen Unterschied in der Farbe, aber sie schmecken ganz anders. Ich habe für sechs Monate das Essen mit dem Ragihirse-popcorn garniert, ohne es zu realisieren.

Ja, das ist was, der Ennui der Einschließung führte mich dazu.

My City Americana

About my city, its name is Americana.
Americana is in the state of São Paulo, in southwestern Brazil.
And there is a curiosity about his name.
First it was called Vila dos Americanos, because around 1870 there was a large number of American immigrants from the southern United States after the Civil War who came to start a new life here.

Then came the American Cemetery, where every year the descendants gather to have a confederate party.
Another curiosity was in 1972, the ex-president Jimmy Carter, then governor of the state of Georgia at the time, came to Brazil to visit this cemetery and meet the descendants.
The foundation of Americana is not credited to the Confederates, but their contribution to the progress of the city and the region is indisputable.

旅行时关注什么

我旅行的时候喜欢关注交通与风景。除了出差、留学、探亲访友的原因以外，我觉得观光风景就是旅行的主要原因。而交通之所以很重要，是因为理解本地的交通才能到达最美丽的地点欣赏风景。

然而本地的风俗与饮食完全不值得我的关注。不同文化的风俗都还是人类的风俗，因此没有太大的区别。饮食呢，吃、喝后的味道总是一小时内消失。饮食短享受不如美丽风景的长久的回忆。

Eating

If I didn't eat at home, I would prefer to eat box lunch or Chinese fast food. The same stuff of these two kinds of food is that there are rice, steamed bread, small portion dishes, and porridge or soup. If I choose a box lunch, I usually choose the eight Cny one, two small portion vegetables, one small portion of meat and a portion of rice or steamed bread. The soup or porridge is free. If I ate Chinese fast food, I would pick steamed bread or a small bowl of rice, a small plate of vegetables, and a small bowl of porridge or a small bowl of soup. That would cost me ten Cny. Es ist eine lange Zeit gewesen...

Ich habe wirklich die Arbeitsbelastung der Uni unterschätzt, und jetzt habe ich endlich Zeit, um dieser Eintritt zu schreiben. Jetzt ist es halb nach Mitternacht; entschuldigung im Voraus für meine Fehler, weil es hier sehr spät ist.

Dieses Semester besuche ich sechs online Kurse für die Universität. Drei sind für meine Hauptfächer und drei sind für meine Allgemeinbildung-Anforderungen. Ich finde sie sehr interessant und bin wirklich froh, dass ich keinen Mathematikunterricht besuchen muss. Meine Hauptfächer sind Internationale Beziehungen und Chinesisch.

Ich habe für eine Weile kein Deutsch geübt; darin fühle ich mich sehr schuldig. Ich besuche keinen Deutschunterricht dieses Semester, und ich glaube, dass mein Deutsch schlechter wird. Ich weiß schon, dass ich meinen (relativ guten deutschen) Akzent verlore. Hoffentlich werde ich einen Sprachenaustauschpartner finden.

Reviewing last semester

Today, I have got all of my grades last semester, so I want to review classes and give my simple impression. Last semester was really tough for me because all of the classes were changed online suddenly and I took too many classes.
One of the hardest classes is "Strength of materials". In that class, I had to take 6 exams in total and I got a not good grade even though I did well in the last exam. However, other engineering classes are pretty good and my most favorite was "Applied mathematics and informatics", which is the practice of using Octave, a programming language for scientific computing. Its contents of the lecture were useful for other classes.
Concerning general education, I took literature, sociology, psychology, etc. English and Chinese were both pleasant because these are not as complicated or frustrating as linear algebra or fluid mechanics.
Anyway, it seems that I can go to the aerospace course thanks to my grade, so I am very happy and I make up my mind to study harder next semester.

Nützliche Sprachen

Deutsch ist ziemlich nützlich, wenn es um die Naturwissenschaften geht. Einer hat die Ingenieurwissenschaften schon erwähnt. Die Sprachwissenschaften, Erdkunde und die Bodenwissenschaften fallen mir auch ein. Außerdem eignet sich Deutsch für Literaturkritik, Kunstgeschichte und Musiktheorie.

Chinesisch hilft bei der Logistik. Hierbei kann man jede Sprache gut gebrauchen, aber China gehört zu den größten Exportnationen, und die Lieferanten können manchmal nur ein wenig Englisch.

To support people who have a problem requires to be imaginative, because every person has their personality and all the problems are different. Therefore, what is important is to think about what they are thinking of and how they feel. If you do not do that, no matter how many books and papers you read, you cannot understand what they really want you to do.

Concuerdo contigo excepto esta frase: “Entonces la situación es exactamente igual.” No creo que cueste mucho entender la típica película en inglés comparado con la típica película en español porque las dos provienen de industrias muy distintas.

En el caso de las películas en inglés, la mayoría viene de los Estados Unidos, es muy común encontrarlas con una entonación neutra, el “Hollywood estándar,” y además, en general, no son dobladas.

En contraposición, si hablamos de las películas en español, es decir, no dobladas, es mucho más común estar en contacto con acentos que revelan la gran diversidad de los países hispanohablantes, así que la probabilidad de ponerte una película que te resulte difícil entender es considerablemente más alta.

私は3ヶ国語で手紙の文通しています。お父さんとは英語、お母さんとはスペイン語、あきこ先生とは日本語です。3ヶ国語のせいで、たまに頭は混乱中です。特に、スペイン語を書くのは難しいです。毎日英語と日本語を練習しています。でも、スペイン語は1週間の間に一回だけ書きます。スペイン語を書けば、言葉を探すのは大変です。日本語の言葉は先に浮かんで、考えが乱れになります。時々やめたいですが。手紙が好きなので、頑張ります。手紙は電子メールより楽しくて有意義です。具体的な形は特別な感じがすると思います。さらに、掃除や整理などのとき過去の手紙をみつけるのは喜んで、懐かしいです。最後の理由はそれぞれの言語が上達します。

Liebe durch das Internet

Ich bin dankbar, dass ich in einer Zeit mit Internet aufgewachsen bin. Wenn es kein Internet gegeben hätte, als ich 19 Jahre alt war, wäre es noch schwieriger gewesen, einen festen Freund zu finden.

Heutzutage ist es ganz schön einfach, jemanden kennenzulernen. Man braucht nicht das Haus zu verlassen, um mit neuen Menschen in Kontakt zu treten. Auch wenn deine Freunde dir jemanden nicht vorstellen, kann man allein im Internet jemandem begegnen.

Im Jahr 2000 gab es keine Smartphones mit Dating-Apps. Alles war viel schwieriger, aber es gab ein oder zwei Seiten, wo man mit anderen Menschen chatten konnte.

Warum aber war das Internet für dich so notwendig oder hilfreich?

Also, ich hatte fast keine Freunde während meiner Kindheit. Ich will hier keine traurige Geschichte erzählen, aber ich war ein sehr einsamer Junge. Als ich außerdem herausgefunden habe, dass ich schwul bin, ist alles noch komplizierter geworden.

Ich war 15 Jahre alt, als ich zum ersten Mal jemandem gesagt habe, dass ich schwul bin. Dass ich mich eher zu Männern hingezogen fühle, war mir schon seit 12 oder 13 bewusst. Es war schrecklich. Ich konnte es nicht akzeptieren. Ich konnte nicht glauben, dass es mir passiert ist. Ich hatte Angst, dass ich zur Hölle geschickt werden würde, nachdem ich sterbe. Und ich wollte nicht zur Hölle gehen. Der Grund dafür war, dass ich katholisch erzogen wurde.

Ich erinnere mich daran, dass ich am Boden lag, als ich 13 Jahre alt war. Ich lag auf dem Boden und weinte. Ich fragte mich: Warum ich? Warum ich?

Es mag vielleicht sehr dramatisch klingen, aber das ist genau, was passiert ist.

Menschen sagen, dass schwul sein etwas ist, wofür man sich entscheidet. Das stimmt gar nicht. Ich habe mir nicht ausgesucht, dass ich zu Männern hingezogen bin. Ich habe mich niemals entschieden: Ok, ich mag Männer. Wenn ich einen hübschen Mann sehe, träume ich nicht absichtlich davon, dass wir einander küssen. Das ergibt keinen Sinn.

Niemand sucht es sich aus. Männer, die nicht schwul sind, haben sich nicht ausgesucht, Frauen zu mögen. Menschen sind so, wie sie sind, weil sie eben so sind. Es gibt keine Erklärung dafür.

Warum sind einige Menschen groß und andere klein? Warum sind nicht alle Menschen 1,75 m? Warum gibt es verschiedene Augenfarben?

Mir gefällt es nicht, wenn ich Theorien lese oder höre, die versuchen zu erklären, warum einige Menschen schwul sind. Ist es nicht richtig, schwul zu sein? Wenn es kein Problem darstellt, warum braucht man eine Erklärung?

Es gibt auch etwas sehr Interessantes, worüber man nachdenken sollte: Wenn man sich wirklich aussuchen könnte, wen man mag, warum würde es sich jemand aussuchen, schwul zu sein? Was sind die Vorteile? Man leidet zu viel. Alle Gesellschaften ermutigen dich von klein an, heterosexuell zu sein. Warum würde ich mir aussuchen, schwul zu sein, wenn so viele Menschen mich dann verletzen würden? Es ergibt keinen Sinn, oder?

Und noch etwas sehr Dummes: Menschen denken, dass Kinder beeinflusst werden können, wenn sie jemanden sehen, der schwul oder lesbisch ist.

Ich habe nur Heterosexuelle gesehen. Mein ganzes Leben. Das hat mich nicht heterosexuell gemacht. lol

Man ist homo- oder heterosexuell nicht wegen jemandem, der einen beeinflusst, sondern weil man mit dieser persönlichen Neigung geboren wurde.

Dies sind nur ein paar Beispiele, warum es so schwierig ist, schwul zu sein. Vieles hat sich mittlerweile geändert, aber noch nicht genug und nicht überall. Das ist aber ein sehr großes Thema und ich schreibe morgen mehr darüber. Vielen Dank für's Lesen!

Estos días he querido pasar mas tiempo afuera haciendo deporte en vez de estar sentada todo el día. También me gustaría acostumbrarme de nuevo al ejercicio cardiovascular. Lo hice mucho al inicio de la cuarentena, pero paré cuando los días empezaban a ser más largos y calurosos. He ido a correr las dos últimas tardes para conseguir este deseo.

Quiero compartir contigo algunas cosas bonitas de mi ruta:
1. En el parque cerca de mi casa hay arbustos de enebro que huelen muy bien. Me recuerdan a los bosques de pino.
2. Algunos de mis vecinos tienen plantas con flores azules o hojas rojas. No sé si es por la calidad de la luz durante la puesta del sol, pero los colores son muy brillantes y me gustan mucho.
3. Esto no es bonito pero me parece interesante: hoy vi un monopatín escondido entre los arbustos y el transformador. Me pregunto quien lo dejó allí (y en el fondo me encantaría intentar montarlo).

Recuerdo que te gusta mucho explorar tu ciudad de noche en bicicleta. ¿Tienes alguna zona favorita de la ciudad o algún recuerdo bonito que te gustaría compartir?

If I am allowed to do some business, I prefer choosing the following two types of it.
The first one would be education training. I think it is a valuable cause to do, because it can change a person, change a nation, and make the world beautiful. The second one is starting up a lawyer's office to help people who are in need. No matter which one I can do, the main goal is to help people step out of difficulty and become better. As for money, it doesn't matter, as long as it can afford our lives. The rule in choosing team workers is that they must have the same values. If you want to be rich, let's say goodbye. There are things we can do, and can make ends meet in our lives, and it is very meaningful. That is what I am dreaming about. However, dreams are always dreams. Maybe I can only dream. It will never come true.
