Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
People today spend too much time on personal enjoyment-doing things they like to do-rather than doing things they should do.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
I disagree this statement which is people spend time on personal enjoyment-doing things rather than they should do. The main reasons is the world are changing.
At the first is what is the main that people should do, i roughly divide it into work or study.
During the world to be changed, there are more facilities for people to enjoy than the previous world. It is normal for people spend more time on enjoyment. Because modern people have this condition. People in the past didn't have this facilities, even though they want to spend too much time to enjoy it, they can't do it so that they can only go to work or study.However, the modern people have much choice.Once people have more choice, their energy and time distribution is also different.
The development of the word not only bring more facilities to enjoy for people, but also bring more pressure. If people just added pressure, but ignoring the enjoyment. this situation will cause low efficiency, because people need to rest. The body will bad if work and rest are not balance. Maybe the task only need to ten minutes can be done, but now, it will take half an hour. However, if people take a enough enjoy, the inefficiency will not happen.
Besides, people in the past they have much time to sleep generally. Because they lacked way to enjoy. According to scientific research，people's average sleep time gradually decrease. But it is suit social development. And the less sleep time is better for the human body now. In that case, people enjoy more time expect same work or study time. these enjoyment time will not delay people doing what they should do.
so i object this statement. Because this is in line with the development of society.

这两只猫让我疯了！
我邻居的两只猫固然特别可爱，可是它们已彻底打乱了我的生活。今天凌晨2点至3点，精力旺盛的猫在我的房间里跑来跑去了，彼此追求。那时候我想上厕所，我不想它们跑出去房间而打扰我的房东。猫睡觉时，我还不想打醒它们。因此，今天早上我睡懒觉，以至于直到10点半才起床了。我在房间里用电脑时，猫爱坐在键盘上，不让我学习。我吃以谷物片和牛奶为早餐时，猫想喝碗里的牛奶。
中午它们想吃点东西，不过我那时只有剩下的一包牛肉干。网友说了牛肉干含有的盐不善于猫的健康，不过我没办法，它们已经吃光了所有的猫粮。我从京东买的猫粮很相似我邻居买的猫粮，不过还没到。据京东APP上发给我的通信，今天凌晨猫粮的包裹已经离开郑州开往北京。我在预测明天中午之前这个包裹会到达我的家。今天我可以再买几罐金枪鱼，应该行了。
老实说，这两只猫不是我的责任。我因为具体的原因不拥有猫。有一年，我处于天津的一个朋友送给了我一颗植物，一个星期之后，植物已经死亡了。也许猫还活着是一个小的奇迹，不过跟植物不同，饥饿的猫会向我求吃的。
最近让我担忧的是，春节快到了：我的邻居回家时会不会把猫带走还是跟现在一样凭我整春节养猫？无知所做的我有一天会不会竟然收到个短信说：“我在别的城市了，你照顾猫吧，好不好？”除了我，没人会给猫水和吃的，所以我没有其他的选择。我虽然会想念这两可爱的猫，但是我想要追求自己的目的，而不是养别人的猫。

My favorite movie
I am gonna talk about my favourite movie named Three Idiots, which is a famous Indian movie by a renowned director. After this movie was relaxed out, it became an immediate box-office hit, playing to full houses worldwide. I have watched this movie three times, but it never failed to fascinate me. This movie talked about the lives of three male leads. At that time in India, people believed that only if one can become the top of his class and ace every test, can he find a decent job in his later life, especially engineering. In this case, parents want their children to perform well in academia, and don’t allow their children to develop their hobbies like sport and photography. One of the things that fascinates me most about this movie is that it is really transformative and educational, which has revolutionised the way people think. The reason why I die from this movie is that it tells us that parents should not make every decision for their children. Maybe they are not good at studying, but they are talented in other fields. Every walk of life deserves our engagement. So we should support our children and respect them. Maybe we will be amazed by their crowing achievement in the domain they are interested in. On top of that, this movie is really funny. The main characters in this movie always do some stupid and funny things to make people burst out of laughter. I highly recommend this movie.

Stranger Things
Recently I watched season 1&2 of "Stranger Things", which is a Netflix original SF drama series. I like such kind of mysterious scientific movies and can't help but staying up late to watch the next episode. However, the plot got increasingly boring as the movie went by because stranger things happened in the story were easily turned to be monsters in the different world. (..because you could easily find even in the first series that stranger things happened in the story are derived from monsters in the different world.)
If you lived in or are familiar with 80's American culture, you would find 80's lifestyles and musics in the story, and then feel nostalgic for your old memories. Anyway, I was a bit disappointed that strangers things are nothing more than strange monsters.

El segundo día del año nuevo
Ayer, el día primero del año 2021, decidí que voy a intentar escribir por lo menos una vez al día durante todo el año. También hice una resolución pequeña de intentar sumergirme en la lengua castellana durante el mes de enero. Normalmente no me gustan nada las resoluciones del año nuevo, pero como no he tenido mucho qué hacer de último, hay que aprovecharme del tiempo.
Este año pasado empecé a estudiar portugués, y por eso creo que mi habilidad en español ha sufrido un poco. No quiero decir que estudiar otro idioma sea algo malo, sino que tengo que enfocarme de nuevo en español para mejorar esa habilidad y para evitar que sufra más. Dado que ahora vivo en los EEUU, me sirve mejor tener un nivel de español bastante avanzado como muchas empresas lo requieren.
Para lograr mejorarlo, he decidido que todas las series, películas, y otros vídeos que veo durante este mes, tienen que utilizar español de una forma u otra. Ya he visto una serie española, que realmente fue una telenovela de alta calidad, y voy a seguir leyendo un libro que compré cuando estaba en España. No me puedo mejorar el acento, ni arreglar toda mi gramática en un día solo, pero poco a poco voy.
Vamos adelante.

Il y a une semaine depuis mon dernier texte
Je dois avouer que je n'ai rien écrit dans cette semaine parce que j'étais paresseux. Il y avait des jours où je rentrairais chez moi trop tard pour écrire quelque chose. C'est parce que, naturellement, il y a beaucoup de choses à faire près de la fin de l'année. Le 29 décembre c'était l'anniversaire de ma cousine, et le 31 décembre on a fête le nouveau an. Mais j'aurais pu écrire le 30 décembre ou le 1 janvier, mais j'étais paresseux. Je vais essayer d'être plus discipliné dès aujourd'hui.

Bonjour de quarantaine jour 8
Hier, quelqu’un dans le hotel a été trouver d’avoir le COVID-19. J’ai reçu un note sous le port. <<On ne peux jamais sortir de la chambre. Les zones en commune doivent avoir un nettoyage profond. >> Autant que j’aimerais aller dehors, je préfère rester en bon santé.
Maintenent tous le monde qui arrive ici, doit passer le test du COVID trois fois: le premier jour, le troisième jour et the onzième jour. Cette personne dans le note, a un résultat positive á son premiere jour.
Il y a maintenant de nombreux ajustements au système hôtelier a cause de COVID-19. Il y a le gel hydrologic partout, les boutons de les ascenseurs ont le plastique film sur eux, et les soldats sont partout pour assurer que les invités n’échappe jamais. Chaque jour, une infirmière tocker a la porte. Je doit porter un masque avant de ouvrir la porte. Chaque jour, elle me demande si j’ai les symptômes de COVID et elle prend mon temperature avec un thermometer que ne peux pas toucher ma front.
Il y avait vingt-cinq personnes qui sont mort de le COVID jusqu’a present en Nouvelle Zélande. C’est plus moins que beaucoup d’autre endroit dans le monde. Les autorités ici sont très strict.

TV programs and our society today
TV programs have been reducing their quality since ten or fifteen years ago - but on the past were not good neither. The only topics that they talk about are silly things, and provide doubtedly news.
So, I started to wonder: are there some other things which are worst than ever before? In fact there are some things: political speeches, for example, which are more and more focus on to appeal to feelings, rather than to the reason.

In Canada, people’s tastes are diverse. Because there are many different cultures and people in Canada, and everybody has different tastes. In my family, we eat Chinese food every day. My parents are from China, so I grew up eating Chinese food. The cooking method of Chinese dishes includes boiling, steam, deep frying, stew and braise. It’s easy to see, there are a lot of cooking ways. Our family’s eating habits are that we like eating together around a table. The dishes are placed on the center of the table and everyone eats the dishes by themselves. We like chatting while eating. This habit is very important for our family because we usually can’t see each other for half a day as we are busy with our respective jobs.

Mein Glücksbringer
Ich habe ein Armband als Glücksbringer, würde ich sagen. Es war ein Armband von meiner Mutter und als sie gestorben ist, habe ich es geholt. Es ist ein religiöses Armband aber ich trage es, weil es mich geschützt fühlen macht, als ob meine Mutter mich vor schlimmen Sachen beschützen würde.

Also, in meiner Heimat gibt es viele Glücksbringer zu Silvester. Beispielsweise glauben wir, dass man um zwölf Uhr, zwölf Weintrauben essen muss, weil das Glück bringt. Außerdem muss man rote Unterwäsche tragen, wenn man Liebe im neuen Jahr finden will. Gelbe Unterwäsche bringt mehr Geld und weiße Unterwäsche für ein gesundliches Leben. Sogar muss man unter einen Tisch um zwölf Uhr stecken, um Liebe im neuen Jahr zu finden.
Ja, es sind verrückte Sachen, aber die machen wir Spaß! Was sind die Glücksbringer zu Silvester in Ihrer Heimat?

Lebensgeschichte von Onkel Alfred
Onkel Alfred hatte wirklich ein langweiliges Leben. Er kam 1949 zur Welt. Mit einem Jahr lernte er zum Gehen. Er war ein sehr intelligentes Kind. Schon im Alter von 3 Jahren starb seine Mutter und er musste allein mit seinem Vater leben. Zwei Jahre später wird sein Vater Alkoholiker und deshalb zog er mit sechs Jahren bei seiner Tante ab. Trotz der Situation, war er ein optimistisches und seltsames Kind. Mit 17 Jahren machte er das Abitur und begann zu arbeiten. Er wollte nicht mehr studieren, sondern mit seinen Händen arbeiten. Er wollte Schreiner werden. Im alter von 20 Jahre lernte er eine schöne Frau namens Lisa kennen und heiratete er sie ein Jahr später. Mit 25 kam sein erstes Kind zur Welt und zwei Jahre später gebar seines Zweites. Im Alter von 30 Jahren fand er einen guten Job mit Versicherung und Altersvorsorge und arbeitete dort, bis er 60 war. Danach ging er in den Ruhestand. Zehn Jahre später, nach einem Untersuchung beim Arzt, wurde der Arzt ein Herzprobleme diagnostiziert. Onkel Alfred lässt sich nicht opererieren und starb das nächstes Jahr, wegen diese Probleme.
