Lieblingssendung
Es scheint, dass ich keinen Lieblingsfilm oder eine Lieblingsserie habe. Also lasst mich über meinen Lieblingsanime sprechen! Astro Boy! Ich habe ihn zum ersten Mal gesehen, als ich in der Grundschule oder im Kindergarten war, und das war die Version von 1980, und ich habe ihn im letzten Jahr noch einmal gesehen! Die Version von 2005 hat mir nicht gefallen, und ich habe vor, mir die Version von 1963 noch einmal anzusehen, wenn ich Zeit habe! Ich mochte die Handlung, in der die Bösewichte nicht mehr besiegt wurden, sondern die Bösewichte lernten zu lieben und wählten schließlich die Selbstaufopferung. Die Roboter-Mensch-Beziehung ist eines der Themen dieses Animes, und sie passt gut in die Gegenwart. Und Astro Boys Geburtstag ist der gleiche Tag wie meiner!

Est-il toujours ensoleillé à Philadelphie ?
Je n'ai aucun doute que ma série préférée est « C'est toujours ensoleillé à Philadelphie », une série américaine créée par Rob McElhenney. Cependant, je suis conscient qu'elle ne plairait pas à tous ; elle aborde des sujets risqués et controverses, et pas d'une manière légère. Parmi eux, il y avait des episodes sur le racisme, avortement, le droit de port des armes, toxicomanie, transsexualite, presque tous les issues sensibles à une audience occidentale. Dans la série, il y a cinq personnages principaux, qui bossent dans un bar irlandaise à Philadelphie duquel ils sont aussi les propriétaires. Pourtant l'histoire a peu à voir avec cette entreprise : ils passent leur temps en effectuant des schèmes et complots pour arnaquer n'importe qui aurait de malchance de croiser « le gang », comme ils sont souvent appelles. Toutefois, ils n'agissent pas toujours d'une manière collective : souvent, le cible d'un complot serait un autre membre de la groupe.
Il est très intéressant que tous les personnages soient extrêmement imparfaits, et n'évoquent pas de sympathie. Le gang est compris des narcissistes, fréquemment violents, pour qui il paraît qu'il n'y ait aucune limite. Pour exemple, dans un épisode, un parmi eux, Charlie, fait semblant d'avoir cancer pour gagner les graces d'une femme dont il était amoreux. Comme vous pouvez voir donc, l'humour est souvent noir et lourd : mais ça marche, et me fait riré toujours, même après 14 saisons.
Il faut néanmoins dire que les premiers étaient les meilleurs; malheureusement il paraît un peu qu'ils soient un peu à court d’idées, et il y avait quelques épisodes dans les derniers saisons lesquels n'étaient pas de qualité auquel j'avais été accoutumé. Quand même, j'attends les prochaines avec impatience.

Dia 5: O meu filme preferido
O meu filme perferido é feito dum actor e productor muito conhecido aqui na Alemanha: Matthias Schweighöfer. O filme se chama "Schlussmacher" e se trata de um homen que trabalha por uma agência que excuta separações e divóricios. Todo vai come previsto até o protagonista traz conhecimento com Toto. Toto é o genro del chefe da agência e o chefe pensa que Toto não fui uma boa decisão pela sua filha, então engarrega o protagonista de separar ambos. Depois da separação, Toto não sei o que fazer, perdi completamente o sentido de vida e tentou de se suicider. O protagonista consegue evitâ-lo e se vê obrigado de cuidar dele. Com o tempo desenvolveu uma amizada entre eles e o protagonista nota o que provoca com seu trabalho...

Haidilao Hotpot
In order to let my granddaughter eat Haidilao hotpot, we went to the Haidilao restaurant again this morning. Because Haidilao usually needs to wait in line in advance, I tried to make a reservation on my phone when it was just a little bit past 10 am. But I failed to book a table, and the front table receptionist told me on the phone that we had to go to the restaurant to see if there were available tables. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was only a little past 11, but there were no tables available, so we had to wait in line. Until 1:30 pm we could have a table to eat.
During lunch we met two interesting things. One was some staff of the restaurant celebrating a child's birthday. They sang and danced, and the birthday atmosphere was very warm. The other was a staff member who hand pulled noodles on the spot, and he pulled the noodles like a dancer with beautiful posture. When we finished our lunch, it was already 3 pm. As always, the waiters gave us a few toys, some snacks and candies. The service quality of Haidilao is really good, but the price of all the food there was also very high. I feel like I won't go there in the future, unless it's necessary.

Textbooks
The spring semester will start in a week, so I have to buy textbooks for my classes. Usually, the professor assigns a textbook in one class, and I spend a lot of money on buying them every semester because these textbooks (especially about specialized subjects) are expensive. It made me nuts that even though a professor said "you should get a textbook of the syllabus.", he hardly used it in his class.

スワヒリ語を学びたいと思っているが、日本語がまだ理想のレベルに達していないため先送りにしている。
スワヒリ語は東アフリカの共通語として知られている。僕の家族は元々東アフリカの出身で、当時、国の情勢が安定していなかったためにイギリスへの移住を余儀なくされた。 家族の中で英語以外の東アフリカの言語を話せないのは僕だけである。そこにルーツがありながらもスワヒリ語を知らない今の僕は、ケニアやタンザニアに行っても、他の外国人観光客と同じように扱われるだろう。親戚で集まるときでさえ、コミュニケーションの取りづらさを感じ、文化から切り離されたような疎外感を覚える。
自分のアイデンティティーをより深く知るために家族の文化や言語を学ぶことは、重要である。スワヒリ語を学ぶことによって、自分の新たな一面を見つけることができるかもしれない。

春の時、天気が暖かくなりますけど時々涼しいです。ですから夫が料理してくれるキムチチゲが一番おいしいです。

Meine letzte Woche
Meine letzte Woche war sehr anstrengend, weil ich an einer katholischen Kirche arbeite.
Die Karwoche ist am kräftigtest Woche fürs Christentum. Wir erinnern uns an die letzte Tage von Jesus, von seiner Verurteilung und Kreuzigung bis zu seinem Tod und seiner Auferstehung.
Bei uns in Brasilien darf man wegen die Pandemie nicht zur Kirche gehen. So, in der Kirche waren nur die Musikern (04 Sänger*innen und ich), Menschen die in der Messe helfen, und selbstverständlich der Priester. Eine Gruppe trägt alles auf Instagram und YouTube über.
Ich vermisse die Chor, die nicht erlaubt um die Messe zu singen ist. Aber alles ändert, und eines Tages können wir zusammen Musik wieder mitmachen.l

Je préfère vivre en grande ville.
Je préfère vivre en grande ville.
D’abord, grâce au nombre d’entreprises, la grande ville possède beaucoup plus de chances pour procurer un emploi que la campagne, elle est vraiment un endroit où les gens poursuivent leur rêve et peuvent probablement( la possibilité est très grande?) réussir enfin.
Dans un deuxième temps, la grande ville a endroits variés et nombreux( les endroits plusieurs, riches et variés? Quel mot qu’on pourrait utiliser ?) qui nous offre plusieurs manières à jouer et se relaxer, comme le cinéma, les musées ou l’exposition d’art...
Dans un troisième temps, je trouve le transport de ville est plus pratique que la compagne. Pour les transports en commun, on a le métro, l’autobus, le taxi etc, cela ne nous fait pas beaucoup de temps d’aller d’une part à une autre, y compris le déplacement entre deux villes. Mais en village, la situation décentralisée des bâtiments et des populations n’y permet pas d’avoir le transport en commun.
Finalement, la grande ville est plein de jeunes, qui rend la ville animée et énergique, cela nous motivera à avoir plus de force à travailler dur et vivre mieux en passant des journées riches.

Ma Nourriture Préférée
Ma nourriture préféré est la soupe. C'est une polyvalente nourriture. On peut ajouter n'importe quelle combinaison de légumes, de viandes, et d'épices.
Je n'ai pas une recette préférée. J'ajoute généralement ce qui me sent bien. Par exemple, la recette précédent que j'ai cuisiné, j'ai ajouté de la courge, du poulet, du lait de coco, et plusieurs épices. La prochaine fois, je peut ajouter des carottes ou des épinards au lieu de la courge et je peut aussi changer les épices je choisis.

Stell mir niemanden vor, bitte!
Eine sehr gute Freundin von mir hat mir geschrieben, dass eine ihrer Freundinnen mit einem Jungen die Wohnung teilt. Er ist auch schwul und sie will ihn mir vorstellen. Nein, bitte! Das funktioniert meistens nicht.
Es gibt zu viel Druck, wenn eine Freundin oder ein Freund von dir dir jemanden vorstellt.

Hat er dir nicht gefallen? Warum?
Ich denke, dass ihr sehr gut zusammen passt!

Ach du meine Güte! Ich brauche das nicht!
Es wäre etwas anderes, wenn wir auf einer Party oder so was wären und zufällig uns treffen würden. Aber diese Sache mit der Idee "Ich möchte dir einen sehr tollen Freund von mir vorstellen"... Nein, das kann nur schiefgehen.
Ich weiß es zu schätzen, dass diese Freund von mir mir jemanden tollen vorstellen will, aber ich würde lieber jemanden durch meine eigenen Methoden kennenlernen. Dann gäbe es wenig Enttäuschung, wenn nichts Besonderes passieren würde, und zwar nur meine. Ich werde lieber allein enttäuscht als mehrere Menschen enttäuscht werden zu lassen.
Außerdem ist Mensch nicht gleich Mensch. Diese Freundin hat von Anfang an geschrieben, dass ich und dieser Junge zusammen passen, ohne sogar zu wissen, ob er mir gefallen hat (oder ob ich dem Jungen gefallen habe). Natürlich spreche ich jetzt über das Aussehen. Das ist auch wichtig, weil ich niemanden küssen werde, wenn ich keine Lust darauf habe. Und um Lust darauf zu haben, muss ich den Junge als attraktiv empfinden. Was attraktiv für mich bedeutet, weiß nur ich. Aber ich brauche auch die physische Chemie, um mit jemandem kuscheln zu wollen, egal wie gut, klug oder was auch immer er ist. Damit möchte ich auf keinen Fall sagen, dass das Aussehen am wichtigsten ist. Es spielt aber eine große Rolle für mich und es gibt keinen Grund, warum ich mich dafür schämen sollte.

Traumhaus
Traumhaus? Das ist vielleicht die interessanteste Frage, die man mir vor langem gestellt hat.
Mein Traumhaus hat einen riesigen Garten. Er ist voller Blumen, Gebüsch, Palmen und eine Fontäne. Da kann ich Sonnenblumen pflanzen, mich entspannen und Freunden zum einen BBQ einladen. Mein Traumhaus wäre wahrscheinlich eigentlich ein Schloss, aber die Schlösser können auch zu viel groß sein. Es muss nur die genügenden Räume haben. Oft sehe ich die Häuser der Millionäre und finde sie zu groß und hässlich. Andererseits wäre ein Cottagehaus auch passend für mich. Ich denke, eine große Küche ist auch wichtig und während wir dabei sind, warum nicht auch ein Schwimmbecken? Mein Traumhaus konnte weit von der Stadt sein, aber nicht weit vom Meer, es beruhigt mich und die Ruhe ist mir am wichtigsten.
Nun finde ich, dass ein Traumhaus kann extravagant klingen, aber mein Traumhaus ist nur voller Liebe, so kann ich immer zufrieden sein, womit ich habe.

GRE Issue 'greatness of individuals'

Prompt
The greatness of individuals can be decided only by those who live after them, not by their contemporaries.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
Essay
The assessment of a great person is not a trivial one. The prompt suggests that people's greatness can be decided only by those who live after them and I mostly agree with the idea for three reasons.
To begin with, whatever greatness a person has shown, he or she may do something wrong during the rest of his or her life. It is the person's death when he or she will have no more direct influence on society. Hence, no one can make a complete judgment until he or she dies. For instance, Yang Jian, an emperor of the Sui dynasty, had done multiple great works during his youth. He constructed the Great Canal and eliminate the starvation in China. However, he insisted on attacking Korea, which was hugely against people's will. Many insurgencies broke out during his late years. Therefore, Yang Jian eventually left a bad reputation in China's history, despite the greatness in his early life.
Second, a person's reputation can affect the person itself. If a person enjoys a wonderful reputation, he or she may consequently become complacent, which harms his or her personality. On the other hand, a too good reputation can later cause negative assessments. For instance, Chen Kaige, a director famous for his very first movie, has never produced a movie comparable with his first and greatest one. Although his other movies aren't too bad, he suffers a bad reputation since people always keep a high expectation of him. Therefore, we cannot too focus on the temporary reputation of one person, especially when it's a good one.
Moreover, contemporaries may be shortsighted, cannot foresee the long-term influence of a person. For instance, The doctor who invented an operation, in which he cut off a part of the patient's brain, was rewarded a Nobel prize. Since his contemporaries believe this can cure any mental disease. However, people later realized that such an operation often wipe out a person's personality. Therefore, he gets enormously negative judgment nowadays.
However, the feedback from contemporaries is also significant. A person must listen to other's assessments to be aware of his or her disadvantages. In conclusion, a person's greatness can be better judged by people who live after them. Since not everyone can keep his or her greatness till death, a person's good reputation may rather end in a bad reputation, and contemporaries cannot foresee the long-term influence of a person. However, we shouldn't overlook contemporaries' opinions too.
