La flor y nata de su país: un hilo de Reddit
¡Se aplica la regla de tres! ¿Cuáles son el libro, la serie y la canción que tienen el poder de hacer que un estudiante/hablante no nativo se enamore perdidamente de su variedad del castellano?
Disculpen, quizás sea exagerado, es lo primero que se me viene a la mente, pero ¡espero que sepan lo que quiero decir! Si tuvieran que elegir, ¿cuáles serían? ¡Se aceptan obras de todo género y estilo! No tienen que ser sofisticadas para nada, ¡solo tienen que lucir y cautivar de alguna manera u otra, en su opinión!
Les agradeceríamos a los comentaristas que fueran tan amables de agregar un pequeño por qué, es decir, algo de lo que podríamos nosotros los estudiantes (y todos los demás, qué sé yo) "ampliar nuestros horizontes", pero claro que no hace falta, de verdad. Tengo una auténtica curiosidad: ¿Qué opinan? ¡Saludos y muchas gracias de antemano!
Por ejemplo: EE. UU. (Hay mejores ejemplos, pero bueno):
Libro: "La casa en Mango Street", escrito por Sandra Cisneros, porque está bien escrito, de estilo sencillo, con viñetas interesantes narradas con una voz llena de gracia y tragedia en partes iguales.
Serie: "Los graduados", un documental de dos partes que trata sobre la lucha contra el abandono escolar, muestra las historias de varios latinos en los EE. UU.
Canción: "La copa de la vida" de Ricky Martin, es un sencillo pegajoso con un mensaje positivo, en aquel entonces causó sensación después de su lanzamiento, convirtiéndose en todo un éxito mundial.
Edición: Y si cuando les preguntan "¿De dónde eres?" es más probable que ustedes contesten "De Morelos" o "De Jinotega", de modo que les interese más compartir la flor y nata de entidades más chicas que la nación, ¡hagan lo suyo!

2001 Space Odyssey (containing spoiler)
A while ago I watched that famous movie, 2001 Space Odyssey on Netflix. I occasionally watch movies both to learn English and to talk about it later. It was such a weird movie with too few conversations, but the visual was so ahead of time, stunning, and beautiful.
The movie was divided into four parts, but all of them are in some ways connected to a mysterious object, “monolith.”
The first part is about a conflict between two groups of primitive humans. They fight over a pond for drinking water and one group loses the fight. After fleeing, when they sleep and then wake up, they find a huge monolith placed near them. They don’t know who did this, but after that, they learn to use tools for fighting and then they take back the pond.
The second part is weird and I didn’t understand what was happening. I think the second part exists to just show off the visual effects of space ships. Scientist teams find the monolith on the moon and at the end of the second part, they hear grinding noise coming from it.
The third part is about spaceship clews and flawless AI. They are on a mission to first reach Jupiter. However, during the journey, this flawless AI makes a mistake for the first time. Only two awake clews (because others have to hibernate to reserve resources) decide to turn off this AI, but this AI finds out about that and then kills one of two awake clews and all the hibernating clews. The only remaining clew is almost killed, but he manages to turn off the AI in the end. This part is the most “catchy” part and easy to follow, and most of the conversations in this movie are in this part. I guess the monolith makes the AI faulty, and makes it more human-like.
The fourth part is about the remaining clew, and this is the weirdest part of this movie. The visual is so trippy and psychedelic. It is like a fever dream, and this visual effect continues for five to ten minutes with no speech. After that, the last clew finds himself in a closed chamber furnished with a table, bathroom, and bed. He realizes he is looking at an old man, and the next moment, he is that old man. The old man is his future self. Then this old man finds a older man lying on the bed, and of course this older man is also him. Lastly, while he is lying on the bed, he finds a monolith situated at the center of the room. When he touches, he goes back to earth and he is a big, bizarre looking baby inside a mysterious sphere. Then the movie ends.
Overall, I enjoyed the movie a lot. I like the visual and mysteriousness of the movie. I think it is really hard to make such movies nowadays, because movies nowadays are so much commercialized and movie companies cannot risk themselves by producing such progressive movies. I think this movie was possible because at that time beautiful movies were rare so the visual itself had its own value. These days, due to the technology advancement, we can watch any movies with a high resolution, so we start to take it for granted that we can watch beautiful cinemas. So if this movie were to be released now, I wouldn’t be sure if it would become a hit. Maybe one of the reasons that the movie is so famous is the timing of its release.

Une nouvelle approche
Salut ! Ça fait un bail que j'ai écrit en français, mais je suis là ! J'ai arreté écrire à cause de devoirs d'université comme la projet de recherche et mes cours d'espagnol. C'est trop à charger, mais je ne veux pas ralentir mes progrès, ni empêcher un élan que j'ai bati les dernières semaines. Je voudrais reprendre mon pratique d'ecriture par mélanger cinq mots que j'ai appris de mes flashcards. Ensuite je les incorporerai dans la publication. Je pourrai apprendre la langue plus efficacement en cette mode et, peut-être, résoudre le plateau que je me sentais récemment. Je crois que ça m'aiderai retrouver la motivation pour accomplir mes objectifs d'apprentissage. Croiser mes doigts que cette approche mène à l'avancement. (Au fait, j'ai utilisé les cinq nouveux mots là-dedans. 😊)

Dogs and Vipers
One of the representative poisonous snakes in Japan is mamushi (Gloydius blomhoffii). Mamushi lives in mountains all over the country, and not a few people are bitten and died. The poison is blood poison that affects bleeding and the cardiovascular system. However, dogs don't die by the poison. That being said, the dogs bitten by mamushi are swelled on their face. The appearance looks regretting and it's funny. You can watch these kinds of dogs on YouTube. The most famous one is "The name of a dog bitten by a poisonous snake is Lucky."

나는 할 일이 많이 있을 때 스트레스를 잘 받는 편이다. 그 일들은 쉽고 빨리 마칠 수 있는데도 해야 할 일들만 생각하면 스트레스가 쌓인다. 그래서 효율적으로 일을 마치고 싶을 때 우선적으로 해야 할 일의 목록을 적성하고 제일 조용한 일부터 시작한다. 그 데다가 스트레스를 풀려면 잠깐 쉬거나 무언가를 먹으러 간다. 나는 피곤하면 일을 마치는 것이 더 시간 걸리기 때문에 잠을 푹 자는 것도 조용하다. 해야 할 일이 쌓이지 않도록 마지막 순간까지 안 미루려고 노력하는데 가끔 하기 귀찮아서 할 일이 쌓이게 된다. 근데 이러한 나쁜 습관을 고치고 좋은 습관을 키우려고 한다.

Es necesario que los alumnos pasen más tiempo en la escuela
Los estudiantes deberían pasar más tiempo en la escuela para asegurar que obtengan una buena educación. Sin embargo, esto no es totalmente verdad ya que el temario es muy importante para proporcionar a los niños el conocimiento que necesitan. Lo importante es la calidad del trabajo que los niños reciben, no solamente el tiempo que pasan en la escuela. Para procurar que los niños aprendan más, hay que alargar el tiempo que pasan en la escuela y mejorar el temario.
Para comenzar, si los niños pasan más tiempo en la escuela, los prefesores tendrán más tiempo para enseñarlos. Un problema común en Trinidad es que algunos profesores no completan el temario debido a poco tiempo y por eso, los estudiantes no están totalmente preparados para los exámenes. Por ende, si los niños pasan más tiempo en la escuela apenderán más y estarán más preparados para los exámenes.
Más aún, hay que mejorar la calidad de trabajo que los niños reciben para que aprendan más. Si el trabajo está formado de una manera fácil de entender es más fácil probable que los niños aprendan más. El temario debería incluir no solo la teoría, sino también el aprendizaje práctico. Para muchos estudiantes, escribir no es suficiente para recordar el trabajo y en consecuencia, es necesario implementar el material audiovisual. ¿Qué haces si encuentras un huevo de dragón ...
Si encuentro un huevo de dragón... me lo guardaría por supuesto! Imagino que el huevo es muy grand entonces tengo que busco especio para ponerlo. Sería atenta cerca del huevo porque no quería lo romper accidentalmente; soy una persona cariñosa entonces cuido por el huevo como un niño. Pensaría de nombres por el dragón mientras que crece en el huevo. Tal vez ello se llamaría "Igneous" o "Comet"—algo relacionado con el fuego. Querría volar con el dragón en el cielo junto. Después de eclosione, estaríamos amigos mejores.

Una rutina
Hoy mi doctor y yo hablamos de la importancia de seguir una rutina en el día a día. Desde hace octubre he tenido mucha fatiga. Al inicio creí que solo sentía cansancio porque me estaba acostumbrando al trabajo, pero ahora creo que me encuentro así porque no hago mucho ejercicio y no voy a dormir hasta muy tarde. Primero, he decidido intentar levantarme a las 6:00 cada mañana, incluso cuando trabajo en la casa. Intentaré usar este tiempo para practicar yoga o comer un poco para tener más energía durante el día. Después del trabajo, sería una buena idea ir a correr, aunque no sé si puedo dedicarme a ello inmediatamente. A lo mejor tendré que empezar caminando y esforzarme a hacer más cada día hasta conseguir la meta. Finalmente, he de intentar comer la cena a la misma hora cada día o, si tenemos que esperar hasta más tarde, comer una pequeña merienda para no estar enfadada debido al hambre.

Ich bin so an das lange Warten leid geworden. Einem Teil von mir würde es nichts ausmachen, ein bisschen mehr in Brasilien zu bleiben, weil ich hier mit meiner Mutter zusammen bin und wir zusammen essen, fernsehen und reden können, und ich hier all meine Bücher habe, aber ein anderer Teil von mir will einfach aus diesem endlosen wiederholenden Alltag herauskommen und etwas Neues machen, nämlich den Führerschein machen und einen neuen Job in Portugal finden, wenn ich Glück habe. Hoffentlich werde ich dir an meinen nächsten Briefen gute Neuigkeiten mitteilen. Lass mich wissen, was dir an den letzten Tagen passiert ist. Ich hoffe, du bist gesund und hast Spaß :)

Today's trade
I bought 7 companies in early session while paring parts of hedge with taking profit when DJIA was lower by 500 -300 from previous close, 1 of which I already sold later today before I was going out for the walk along with for some food in a convenience store. After I returned, market was just closed far off from the session lows. But I think this looks again overbought. But in light of the degree of monthly correction of Russel and Nasdaq, I had to drop my hedge to the weight of 47.8 percent of active hedge, 20 percent of passive hedge, and add good stocks and a little bit penny stock as a charm for not a good day in normal and broad stocks, somewhat bracing for potential upswing over the next few weeks. According to our training schedule this year, today we began to start our new type of professional farmer training. Usually we rent a meeting room in a hotel and hire local teachers. If you had all the money in the world (4)
I want to continue my story about what I would do if I had all the money in the world. My idea was to start a publishing house to publish textbooks. But not a traditional company, but something different. In the last post, I wrote that the first step was to create a platform where teachers could uplaad theirs resources for a little of money.
Nowdays there are many platforms to education (classroom, Moodle, etc), but they are platform designed to work with teachers and students. Now we need a place different. Obviously there are many ways to upload something to the cloud, but the challenge is to have all these resources organiced according the learning standards. The idea is that the teacher could download several specific resources and build their own texbook.

Zu viele Tabs!
Ich habe bemerkt, dass in den letzten Tagen habe ich zu viele Tabs in meinem Browser geöffnet. Es gibt schon einfach mehr als zwanzig und ich glaube, es wird sogar mehr bis das Wochenende geben. Es passiert, weil zu oft muss ich etwas schnell google wahrend ich schreibe oder lerne, und dann bin ich mir nicht sicher ob ich fertig mit dem Tab bin oder werde ich noch später es verwenden und so weiter. Ich dachte, dass nur ich dieses Problem hatte, aber kürzlich hat ein Professor seinen Bildschirm im Unterricht geteilt und man konnte viele und viele geöffnete Tabs sehen, alle mit dem gleichen arXiv logo. Wissenschaftler sind manchmal sehr ähnlich.

Fikan
Idag skön solen och det inte fanns mycket moln. Vi tog en fika hos min partners mormor. Det var trevligt och jag pratade lite på svenska.
När vi gick hem började jag läsa en bok. Jag försöker att läsa minst en bok i veckan men det är svårt att hitta böcker som intresserar mig nog för att jag ska läsa klart dem. Jag avslutade den boken och började den andra boken av serien. Det kallas "jordens barnen" och det handlar om människor som levde under den förhistoriska tiden.
