Environment issues

In my eyes, the biggest problems now is the environmental degradation. There are three triggers for this issue. First of all, it is air pollution. The exhausts of the combustion from fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes the rising sea levels and the increase in greenhouse gases due to global warming. Second, it is noise pollution. Nowadays we can hear the noise from everywhere like the constant roar of the traffic outside, the machine hummed in the background and the excessive antisocial noise after 10pm. Finally, it is water pollution. Because of the emerging industries like manufacturing industry, many factories have been built in the outskirts of cities. The emission from these factories end into the river, which brings pollution to rivers. We must accept we have seriously depleted the ozone layer in the last few decades by our selfish actions. Embracing green politics may be our best hope in the long term, but we need urgent short-term measures too, which require the local government to introduce some laws to preserve the environment or launch campaigns to increase the awareness of the public about the significance of environmental preservation for ourselves as well as for our next generation.

This sentence has been marked as perfect!

Environment iIssues Environment Issues

In English, the first letter of the verbs, nouns, adverbs, pronouns, adjectives, etc., are all capitalized.

There are three triggers for this issue.

There are three triggers forcauses of this issue. There are three causes of this issue.

There are three triggers formain causes of this issue. There are three main causes of this issue.

First of all, it is air pollution.

First of all, itOne example is air pollution. One example is air pollution.

If you were writing it as an essay you might write "(1) Air pollution. ..." (or write "Air pollution." in bold) as a kind of paragraph heading.

First of all, iand foremost is air pollution. First and foremost is air pollution.

The exhausts of the combustion from fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes the rising sea levels and the increase in greenhouse gases due to global warming.

The exhausts ofgreenhouse gases emitted from the combustion ofrom fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes the rising sea levels and the increase in greenhouse gases due to global warming. The greenhouse gases emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes rising sea levels and global warming.

The last part is illogical "increase in greenhouse gases due to global warming". It's the other way around: global warming is due to greenhouse gases. So I reorganized the sentence.

The exhausts of the combustion from fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes the rising sea levels to rise and thean increase inof greenhouse gases due to global warming. The exhausts from fossil fuels trap heat from the sun, which causes the sea levels to rise and an increase of greenhouse gases due to global warming.

The end of this sentence doesn't really make sense even though it's grammatically correct. Do you mean to say, "...which causes the sea levels to rise due to an increase of greenhouse gases which cause global warming"?

Second, it is noise pollution.

SA second, it example is noise pollution. A second example is noise pollution.

I wouldn't consider this an example of "environmental degradation".

Second, itThe second problem is noise pollution. The second problem is noise pollution.

Nowadays we can hear the noise from everywhere like the constant roar of the traffic outside, the machine hummed in the background and the excessive antisocial noise after 10pm.

Nowadays we can hear noise from everywhere, like the constant roar of the traffic outside, machines humming in the background and the excessive antisocial noise after 10pm.

"excessive antisocial noise after 10pm" is grammatically correct, but a rather rapid change of topic.

Nowadays, we can hear the noise from everywhere, like the constant roar of the traffic outside, the machine hummeding in the background, and the excessive antisocial noise after 10pm. Nowadays, we can hear noise everywhere, like the constant roar of the traffic outside, the machine humming in the background, and the excessive antisocial noise after 10pm.

I don't know what you mean by "antisocial noise".

Finally, it is water pollution.

The emission from these factories end into the river, which brings pollution to rivers.

The emissions from these factories end into thes up in rivers, which brings pollution topollutes these rivers. The emissions from these factories ends up in rivers, which pollutes these rivers.

The emissions from these factories endgo into the river, which brings pollution to riverspolluting them. The emissions from these factories go into the river, polluting them.

If you wanted to use "end up" instead of "go into" you could just exchange the two in this sentence.

We must accept we have seriously depleted the ozone layer in the last few decades by our selfish actions.

We must accept we have seriousignificantly depleted the ozone layer in the last few decades by our selfish actions. We must accept we have significantly depleted the ozone layer in the last few decades by our selfish actions.

I find "seriously" better for describing human behavior. ("He seriously has no idea." "You should take this matter seriously.") "significantly" is more objective and scientific.

We must accept that we have seriously depleted the ozone layer significantly within the last few decades by ourthrough our own selfish actions. We must accept that we have depleted the ozone layer significantly within the last few decades through our own selfish actions.

"We have" is commonly written/said as "We've".
