Our daily work is: going to work at 8 am and getting off work at 11:30 am; going to work at 2:30 pm and getting off work at 5:30 pm. Apart from this, we get two days off once a week. Even during work time, there is not necessarily a job to do. In China, when people get a job funded by government finance, they all worked this way years to years until they retired. After getting a similar job, people usually don't study hard or stop learning because they have gotten a life long career-the job will support them for the rest of their lives. Thus, many people hang out with friends, playing cards, chatting and drinking as long as they have time. But this kind of life I hate the most. I can't get joy from it. I still want to do meaningful things, for example, making money, learning and so on. I think life is too short to waste, we should do meaningful things as much as possible, and only by doing so won't we regret our lives when we leave the world.

Our daily work is: going to work at 8 am and getting off work at 11:30 am; going to work at 2:30 pm and getting off work at 5:30 pm.

Apart from this, we get two days off once a week.

Apart from this, we get two days off once aeach week. Apart from this, we get two days off each week.

The original "two days off once a week" makes sense, but "each week" is more natural.

Even during work time, there is not necessarily a job to do.

Even during work timethe workday, there is not necessarily a jobwork to do. Even during the workday, there is not necessarily work to do.

You could also say, "Even during working hours, there is not..." But "workday" sounds more natural.

In China, when people get a job funded by government finance, they all worked this way years to years until they retired.

When getting such a job, people usually don't study hard and stop learning because they have got a life long career. The job will support them for the rest of their lives.

Thus, many people hang out with friends, playing cards, chatting and drinking as long as they have time.

But this kind of life I hate the most.

But thisI hate that kind of life I hate the most. But I hate that kind of life.

Since hate is already a strong word, you don't need "the most."

I can't get joy from it.

I can't getfind joy fromin it. I can't find joy in it.

I still want to do meaningful things, for example, making money, learning and so on.

I think life is too short to waste, we should do meaningful things as much as possible, and only by doing so won't we regret our lives when we leave the world.

I think life is too short to waste, we should do meaningful things as much as possible, and o. Only by doing so won't we regreill we have no regrets about our lives when we leave theis world. I think life is too short to waste, we should do meaningful things as much as possible. Only by doing so will we have no regrets about our lives when we leave this world.

Please forgive me for making this two sentences. I am a professional editor, I can't help it :) I also changed "leave the world" to "leave this world" because, for some reason, when people talk about death, they talk about it with "this world" rather than "the world."
