Believe It Or Not, It’s Up To You.

「Will the day come when an extraterrestrial life is revealed? 」

If it were suddenly announced on TV, "This is an extraterrestrial life", we would be confused.
Because that might be completely different from what we’re imagining.
As for an Urban legend, they have very advanced intelligence and a dimension might be different.
I think it said we live in third dimension that we can't look at them.
Of course, their language is completely different.
Huh!!! Maybe we’ll have to learn an alien language in the future
It sounds like SF, but maybe When it becomes reality.

Believe it or not, it’s up to you.

1) If it is a the headline or the news anchor is beginning with an introduction, they might say "Extraterrestrial life has been found". Then when they are showing the 宇宙人, they will likely just say "This is an alien (that we are seeing right now)".
2) "might" is closer to かもしれない than "would"

BecauseAfter all, thatey might be completely different from what we’re imagining.

As for an Uccording to urban legends, they have very advanced intelligence and a dimension might be different.since they are from a different dimension and possess advanced intelligence,

I totally believe we are not alone in this vast universe. The more we know, the more we discover that we know so little. I also highly doubt the aliens would just let us "introduce" them on TV like a specimen. 😂 But assuming they are friendly, maybe one day we can write in Alien-ese on LangCorrect and they will be correcting our writings. Maybe I will meet an alien Leah-san. 😆

P.S. I have a post about alien some time ago https://langcorrect.com/journals/jczb8dmi/%E5%AE%87%E5%AE%99%E4%BA%BA/

Actually, I was torn between using "alien" and "extraterrestrial life".
I was not sure, I guess using "extraterrestrial life".

I think believe we are not alone in this vast universe too.
Space begins at an altitude of 100 Km.
The stratosphere starts at around 30 Km.
It's about the distance to a neighboring prefecture, so Now that I think about it, it's closer than I thought.
If I ever turn alien, I hope I'll be a cute alien. But even if I end up looking terrifying, I'll still walk proudly in the city—so you might run into me. 😆

Thank you for sending me your post URL, but the last part URL was so garbled, I could not read it. 😢

I hope you don't have an appetite for humans, or I may become food if I run into you! 😱

That's strange, I am able to copy and paste it onto my browser address bar and visit the post myself. See if this one works: https://tinyurl.com/4u3jre7e
It is just a short boring post with lots of mistakes though. 🤣

Don't worry!! I'll try not to eat humans. 🤤

Thank you for sending me another URL.
I couldn't see it even with this shortened URL. 😢

I looked back your past posts, but I'm afraid, I could only see up to February 8th, 2026.

The garbled part is actually 宇宙人, as in https://langcorrect.com/journals/jczb8dmi/宇宙人/

I think there may be some kind of URL encoding that happened when copy and pasting it. It's okay though, it isn't anything interesting haha. Just happened to be a similar topic is all.

I haven't been able to do it after my co-worker quit.
If I run into aliens, thinking of doing a roundhouse kick with the aliens. 🤭

"Will the day come when an extraterrestrial life is revealed?"

English uses " quotation marks

If it were suddenly announced on TV, "This is an extraterrestrial lifeform", we would be confused.

Life is uncountable, so would not take "an". "This is an extraterrestrial lifeform" gives images of someone pointing to a single specimen by the way.

A more natural way someone might phrase it is "We have discovered extraterrestrial life"

Also in general, "extraterrestrial lifeform" is a bit of a broad term, and could count things like.... bacteria or moss if we found it on another planet. If you're thinking of an intelligent, human scale creature, people would probably use alien in this example.

BThat's because thate extraterrestrial lifeform might be completely different from what we’re imagining.

As for aIn Uurban legends, they have very advanced intelligence and atheir dimension might be different.

I think it was said that because we live in thirdree dimensions that we can't look at're not able to see them.

"look" is an intentional action, but since in this case the idea is that you just can't see them ever (even unintentionally) it's better to use "see".

Of course, their language iswill be completely different.

Since we're still in a hypothetical situation, "will be" is more natural than "is" here.

It sounds like SF, but maybe Whensome day it becomes reality.

You can also go closer to your Japanese construction: "Maybe there will be a day when it comes true"

Thank you for checking my writing and your comments.

Believe It Or Not, It’s Up To You.

Will the day come when an extraterrestrial life is revealed?

An extraterrestrial life (form) = a specific alien
Extraterrestrial life = the existence of aliens in general

We don't use「」in English at all. You could use " " for quotes though.

If it were suddenly announced on TV, "This is an eExtraterrestrial life has been discovered", we would be confused.

I think "have been discovered" is much more natural. If you phrased it as "there is extraterrestrial life", people might be confused and want more details.

"Aliens have been discovered" would sound even more natural, as extraterrestrial life is a bit scientific.

Because thait might be completely different from what we’re imagining.

Extraterrestrial life = it
Aliens = they

As for an Uccording to urban legends, they have very advanced intelligence and a dimension might be differentmight come from a different dimension.

According to = as stated by, as reported by

I think it said we, who live in third dimension that we can't look at, are unable to perceive them.

You could also say: "we, who live in only three dimensions..."

Of course, their language iswould be completely different.

This is a hypothetical, so you say "would".
If you say "is", you're talking about a specific language we already know about.

Huh!!!

Maybe we’ll have to learn an alien language in the future.

It sounds like SF, but maybe When itscience fiction, but maybe one day it will becomes a reality.

SF works, but science fiction sounds better, as it is clearer what you mean.

BWhere you believe it or not, it’s up to you.

Your original sentence makes it sound like it's up to us whether it happens at all, not whether we believe it or not.

Excellent work! And a very interesting topic. I guess we can only hope the aliens are nice when we meet them - more Star Trek than Independence Day.

Thank you for checking my writing.
That makes sense.
I wanted to say "an extraterrestrial life" isn't but "Extraterrestrial life".

I think there are many types of aliens, so maybe some of them are kind, maybe some aren't.
If there are scary aliens, what should I do?
I might be eaten by aliens. 🙄

Because that might be completely different from what we’re imagining.
