I'm already in the weekend mode

Today is Friday, the last day to work in the week. This morning, I was daydreaming thinking about the weekend, then made a mistake in my work. I got a complaint from a customer and I'm bummed out now😭

I got a complaint from a customer andbecause of that, and now I'm bummed out now😭

i added "because of that" to make the sentence connect better to the previous one about you making a mistake at work. It makes sense either way, though!

I gotreceived a complaint (from a customer and) because of that, and now I'm bummed out now😭 I received a complaint (from a customer) because of that, and now I'm bummed out 😭

"I got a complaint" is fine, but I think "I received" has better flow and sounds more natural in writing. Alternatively, you can also say, "A customer complained because of that, and now I'm bummed out 😭"
