The advantages and disadvantages of buying brand names

Many people of all ages are interested in buying brand name products currently, specifically clothing. Despite their gigantic price difference with others, not everyone view this as an issue.

On the one hand, there are customers who cannot afford them. They don't have enough money and also think that there is no need to spend so much money on a single product, just because it is a branded clothing. This type of customers don't see clothing as a sign identity, but they buy clothes whenever they need them. For this reason, they rarely follow any fashion. They are more interested in the price, the quality and the utility of them. For example, when winter is coming, the first thing that these families think isn't what is the fashion of the moment, but what material the clothes are made of and whether they are suitable for the cold.

On the other hand, following a trend or fashion can be fun. Those in favour of buying brand name products, view this as a hobby. It is true that they are more expensive; however, they are normally made of with better quality materials. For this reason they are going to have a longer lifetime.

In conclusion, it's a fact that people are buying branded products more than ever and that it can make life more fun for some people, but i am not in favour of this. I strongly believe that people don't buy brand name products for their quality, but they view them as a kind of sign of status.
