#8 journal: "How I'm learning the English language"

I missed to write journal yesturday. I have to write my journal twice today. What do I want to tell you today? Maybe about new iPhone.
I have the iPhone XR. This phone are arranges me. I don't understand why people buy new iPhone every year. It was look like rat race. I know it is not my business. I think OK if you buy iPhone 15 when you had iPhone 13 and early. iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 was same. Oh, the new iPhone have connector type-C and little bit better camera than the iPhone 14 and Apple said you can play Resident Evil 4 on the new iPhone. How many people need this able? I don't know. But I like Apple products. They are very comfortable for user and I think beautiful.

Thank you for read my journal.

Corrections

I missed to writeing a journal yestuerday.

In English, we use the word "missed" followed by the action itself (in this case, "writing", rather than "to write"). "I forgot to write..." would be correct too.

In English, we also have to include "a" before "journal" when talking about a journal that isn't exact.

"Yesterday" was also spelled wrong.

Maybe about the new iPhone.

"new iPhone" is the object, but since it is known what a "new iPhone" refers to, you would say "the new iPhone".

This phone are arrangefits me.

"Arrange" means to change the order of things. If you are trying to say your phone is good for you, you can say "suits" or "fits".

I don't understand why people buy a new iPhone every year.

either "a" or "the" can be used here.

It was looked like a rat race.

The past tense of "look" is "looked", and "rat race" needs "a" since it refers to the idea of a "rat race".

I think it is OK if you buy an iPhone 15 when you hadve an iPhone 13 and earlyier.

"it is OK" or "it is okay" refers to the rest of the sentence. "an" needs to be included before the "iPhone". "Earlier" has to be used when comparing to something, for example, "John wakes up early, but Tim wakes up EARLIER".

iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 wasere the same.

"were" is the plural form of "was". Since you are comparing two things, we need the plural form.

"same" needs "the" to be a proper adjective phrase.

Oh, the new iPhones have connector type-C, and a little bit better camera than the iPhone 14, and Apple said you can play Resident Evil 4 on ithe new iPhone.

We can use "it" instead of "the new iPhone" once it is clear that is what the sentence is about.

For lists like this, it helps to separate the ideas with a comma (,).

"the new iPhone have connector type-C" is wrong because "the new iPhone" is a single iPhone, but "have" is plural.

How many people need this cable?

Spelling.

They are very comfortable for users and I think they are beautiful.

"I think beautiful" needs something that you think is "beautiful", since "beautiful" is just an adjective.

"user" -> "users" since "they" is plural.

Thank you for reading my journal.

"reading" is the past participle form.

I also don't really understand the hype of having to get the latest models when they're released! I feel like many people have FOMO (fear of missing out).

This phone are arranges me.

I think they were saying "these types of phones enrage me". I think "enrage" is too strong of a word (unless you're really passionate about the topic). I think "these kinds of phones/phone models (piss me off)/(irritate me)."

Thank you for read my journal.
