Stuff and Things

Most of the time I can't keep the things I bought in their decent state. I'm a bad user in this sense. I think it's better to know how to treat your your belongings so you could sell them later. Of course, it's also a more ethical thing to do. Instead of throwing away a thing, and adding your garbage to the junkyards, which are already full. Unfortunately, in our country, we don't have garbage recycling system, so reselling stuff is the a good way to do. The most horrible story of ruining a thing is my electric guitar. I bought when I was at high school. I didn't know how to treat it well, and it ended up being broken and dirty, and I dropped playing it. I even broke the electronics. In the end, I sold it to my nephew almost for free. He was happy to get the guitar, and managed to fix it. Now he enjoys playing it. Eventually, I'm glad that my guitar now in good hands, and bringing entertainment to someone, rather than lying broken in the dust. If I buy a new guitar (I guess I would buy an acoustic one), I'd better to learn how to treat it better.

I don't know whether I should use "things", "stuff", or "belongings" for the things you buy and use in your everyday life.
Don't mention the title. It's a reference to an old meme from "The Walking Dead" show :D

I think "quit" is more natural, but "dropped" is also okay.

I even broke the electronics.
