Jestem okropnym kucharzem. Jeśli mój mąż nie ugotowałby, zjadłbym tylko mrożone obiady i sałatki. On lubi probować nowego przepisy. Dzisiaj ugotował wieprzowina i szparagi. Trochę pomogłam bo piekłam chelb.
I am a terrible cook. If my husband didn't cook, I would eat only frozen dinners and salads. He likes to try new recipes. Today he made pork and asparagus. I helped a little by baking some bread.

"Jestem okropnym kucharzem" would be fine in case of a male narrator.
Jeśli mój mąż nie ugotowałby, zjadłabym tylko mrożone obiady i sałatki.
I have corrected the verbs from "finished" to "unfinished", repetitive actions. I guess that was your intention.
On lubi wyproóbowywać nowego przepisy.
Dzisiaj ugotował wieprzowinaę i szparagi.
Trochę pomogłam, bo upiekłam cheleb.
"Upiekłam" is a "finished" action, which is more logical here.

Good job! Everything is comprehensible. Just some problems with cases (there are seven of them in Polish) and "finished"/"unfinished" forms of verbs.

Thank you for the corrections. I have been learning the cases slowly, but the grammar is all still very new. I didn't know about finished vs unfinished verbs.

I should have said "finished/unfinished actions". Here you have the term mentioned as well:
