Day 23: Urbanism

The speech, that the urban planning graduates gave yesterday, opened my mind to a new world.
The urbanist can design the distribution of the buildings and how to make easier the transportation for people by designing better pavements, roundabouts, cycle paths and roads. This career unlike architecture is focused on designing better cities. For example, if the goverment want to build a new city, urbanist would design the metro lines to connect the keypoints of the city and find the better distribution to make faster, easier and safer the transportation of the future citizens, the same is true for the roads and pavements. Architects would design the buildings to make them more recistents to earthquakes, make them more aesthetic and space-optimised as well. I wanted to study architecture because I want to design a better and ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and give more space to nature. But now I have big doubts which are: Should I keep my decision to study architecture? Or should I change to Urbanism?
Something that I like of architecture is that you need to use your creativity to design better buildings, like in any other art. But in Urbanism is more technical and less creative.
I'm going to think very well these two options.
Changing the subject, I'm going to try to find a new language partner, wish me luck!

I think "that they gave yesterday" is a necessary and limiting qualifier to "the speech", and so shouldn't be separated from it by a comma.

Yours was not wrong, but I am suggesting what I think sounds more natural. "Make easier" sounds awkward to me.

This career uUnlike architecture, this career is focused on designing better cities. Unlike architecture, this career is focused on designing better cities.

Your version is not wrong, but I suggest that it is easier for the reader if you rearrange it so "unlike architecture" doesn't interrupt the main statement. You could also put "unlike architecture" at the end instead of the beginning to accomplish this.

This career, unlike architecture, is focused on designing better cities. This career, unlike architecture, is focused on designing better cities.

For example, if the goverment want to build a new city, urbanist would design the metro lines to connect the keypoints of the city and find the better distribution to make faster, easier and safer the transportation of the future citizens, the same is true for the roads and pavements.

For example, if the government wants to build a new city, the urbanist would design the metro lines to connect the key points of the city and find the bestter distribution to make faster, easier and safer the transportation of the future citizens, the same is tru faster, easier and safer, and the same for the roads and pavementhighways. For example, if the government wants to build a new city, the urbanist would design the metro lines to connect the key points of the city and find the best distribution to make the transportation of the future citizens faster, easier and safer, and the same for roads and highways.

We don't say "roads and pavements"--I don't even understand that phrase. But we do say "road and highways", meaning both smaller roads and larger ones.

I wanted to study architecture because I want to design a better and more ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and give more space to nature. I wanted to study architecture because I want to design better and more ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and give more space to nature.

I don't know what "pollution on the street" means. Do you mean "garbage on the street"? Do you mean "pollution from the streets"? This would be a slightly metaphorical way to phrase that, because I'm sure the pollution "from the streets" is mostly from the vehicles traversing the streets rather than from the actual streets themselves.

I wanted to study architecture because I want to design a better and ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and to give more space to nature. I wanted to study architecture because I want to design better and ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and to give more space to nature.

"a better and ecological city" would be correct, but since "cities" is plural, you need to remove the "a".

I wanted to study architecture because I want to design a better and more ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and give more space to nature. I wanted to study architecture because I want to design better and more ecological cities to reduce the pollution on the street and give more space to nature.

But now I have a big doubt which is: Should I keep my decision to study architecture?

In written English, it is probably more common to say "as in any other art" rather than "like in any other art". I don't know why.

Since you are choosing between two options (i.e. "Architecture" and "Urbanism"), using the word "carefully" sounds more natural than "very well".

But now I have biga major doubts which areis: Should I keep my decision to study architecture? But now I have a major doubt which is: Should I keep my decision to study architecture?

You only gave one doubt, so I changed it to singular. "Big doubt" is not incorrect, but in writing and formal use, we tend to avoid the word "big". (I don't know why.)

But now I have big doubtsome big concerns which are: Should I keep my decision to study aArchitecture? But now I have some big concerns which are: Should I keep my decision to study Architecture?

For a sentence like this, using the word "concerns" sounds more natural than "doubts". I capitalized "Architecture" here because you have "Urbanized" capitalized in the subsequent sentence.

But nowNow, however, I have big doubts which are the following: Should I keepstay with my decision to study architecture? Now, however, I have big doubts which are the following: Should I stay with my decision to study architecture?
