A Kitty Counting Expert
A new vacancy called "A kitty counting expert" has been created on the HeadHunter.ru hiring platform. The Urban Animals Protection Charity Foundation which is acting as the employer has launched a project called "Zoo-monitoring" in a collaboration with A.N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution.
The initiative is dedicated to the counting of stray cats in the Moscow city area.
The goal of the project is to find out the population of the Moscow stray cats, their typical coat color, and the density in the different city districts depending on the kind of their habitat.
The duties coming with the job are to carry out surveys and detect guardians who is taking care of the animals, photo and video shooting and placing photo traps when it is necessary.
