Rearranging My IPhone's Storage
My phone is running out of storage space， so I need to rearrange the pictures and videos on it.
I like to capture the images when I see something beautiful, but after that, I don't have enough time to edit or upload them.
When I watched those videos from months ago, I felt a bit sorry for them if I just deleted them. So I decided to edit them into some new videos and dub them in English.

“Rearrange” might not be the best verb here. When you rearrange something, you move things around, like rearranging books on a shelf or items on a desk. Since it sounds like you’re deleting things from your phone, “clean out” might be more apt.

I also cleared out my iPhone storage recently. All the hiking videos I took this summer & fall were taking up too much space. I had already uploaded the ones I liked best to YouTube, so I deleted all the originals. I might regret this someday, when Google (alphabet) eventually decides to shut down YouTube, like they’ve done with so many other nice services over the years. 😬
Lately I’ve also been very disciplined about reviewing my photos after each hike or photo session and ruthlessly deleting all but the best images. I know I’m probably deleting some “good” ones, because photos that don’t look that great on a tiny phone screen sometimes look stunning on a large monitor, but I know I’ll never get around to transferring them to my PC, so I delete, delete, delete….
