I went back and read the Japanese to fix this; a story cannot really be quiet per say but you could saying quieting but this feels like too many words with -ing in English so the sentence just doesn't sound as good. I would say the story has a "calming and soothing nature to it" or something to that effect

I might describe the "scenery" as beautiful, though. A painting can be "beautiful" as can a "view," though we use "beautiful" less often to describe art outside of classic art. I would put these two sentences as one: The story is quite, soothing, calming, and the scenery is very beautiful.
