《汉字就是这么来的1》

我今天看完了《汉字就是这么来的1》。虽然我很多时候看不懂很东西，但我学了不少。这本书是为儿童写的。因为我在学中文，我也算是儿童吧😅。书里的词很简单，也有很多笑话。

据说简体的变化太多，然而会很难了解中文字的意思，因为简体有点抽象，所以有些人说学繁体比较好。但是在作者说0.26%简体是被改变的。大部分的改变是从旧字来的。

如果你想学汉字的来历，我推荐这本书。不过，作者的写法可能对母语者太简单了。

Today I finished reading 'This Is How Chinese Characters Came to Be (Volume 1)'. Although there were many times I couldn’t understand things, I still learned a lot. This book is written for children. Since I am learning Chinese, I guess I count as a child too 😅. The vocabulary in the book is very simple, and there are many jokes.

​It is said that Simplified Chinese changed too much, making it harder to understand the meaning of Chinese characters because simplified characters are a bit abstract, which is why some people say it’s better to learn Traditional Chinese. However, the author mentions that only 0.26% of simplified characters were drastically altered. Most of the changes actually came from ancient calligraphy and old variants.

​If you want to learn the origins of Chinese characters, I highly recommend this book. However, the author’s writing style might be a bit too simple for native speakers.
