So, 'hugely conflicted' doesn't make sense at all or just in this sentence?
Just a style change, hugely is grammatically correct but a lot less common than greatly. I looked up the frequency at https://books.google.com/ngrams/graph?content=hugely%2C+greatly&year_start=1900 and it looks like hugely is becoming more popular so maybe I'm just old school.

"She's hardly ever left her bunker bristling with weapons" could mean that she often leaves with no weapons. The initial word oder by OP makes it easier to tell that the BUNKER is bristling with weapons, rather than HER
