In Australia, most houses don't have air conditioners or even heaters either. While our winters are mild, most houses are built with little to no insulation, so it can still become dangerously cold inside, and then in summer it's regularly over 45°C. Public schools usually don't have air conditioners either. It's really terrible. We all need to adapt to a new world where temperatures will only get more extreme.
