I think both videos and pictures have their pros and cons, but you can combine them. The pictures were beautiful. It's a pity I cannot save the pictures.

"Message" usually means text, and uploading to YouTube involves videos. Since there are pictures, I'd just say you posted some pictures.

This sentence except it sounds a little stiff and overly formal, even for writing. More natural phrasing would be "...does this post let you experience my hike more vividly?"

BTW, until I saw your post, I wasn’t even aware that we could post photos on YouTube. 😀 Do you know if this is a new feature, or has it been there for a while?
