Doyi Lee is back with "JUST REMEMBER." So, let me talk about this track today.

First things first, for those who don't know her, Doyi Lee is an up-and-coming Korean singer-songwriter who debuted with the widely loved r&b track "sorry I'm not in the mood" last year. Recently, she was even featured on the compilation album released by Converse, continuing her momentum.

Moving back to "JUST REMEMBER," it’s a dreamy synth pop (bubble pop) track reminiscent of the pop sensation Charli XCX and her frequent collaborator PC Music, a British music label. Its beat is decent, and the melodies are hypnotizing. I particularly enjoyed the catchy melodies and Doyi Lee's unique, peachey vocals.

However, the drop didn't give me the impression that it did its job. It sounded a bit thinner and emptier than she had probably intended and failed to spruce up the well-composed top line. I think that the kicks didn't have to be the typical "EDM" kicks that hit listeners right in the chest, but adding a bit more punchiness would've definitely helped the track do its justice.

Listen to Doyi Lee's "JUST REMEMBER" and share your thoughts!

Doyi Lee is back with "JUST REMEMBER."

So, let me talk about this track today.

It feels excessive in that the sentence isn't required to flow or understand the following sentences. In other words, this sentence can be cut out without any change to the message of what you are saying.

Recently, she was even featured on the compilation album released by Converse, which caused a rise in popularity.

I don't think that the highlighted part makes sense. What does 'continuing her momentum' mean? I tried to rewrite what I thought you were trying to say so that it could better explain the message. If I misinterpreted it please let me know.

Moving back toAnother example of her music is "JUST REMEMBER," it’s a dreamy synth pop (bubble pop) track reminiscent of the pop sensational artist Charli XCX and her frequent collaborator PC Music, a British music label.

I believe the issue was the immediate repetition of the word 'pop' right after using it in the same sentence, and that 'Moving back' doesn't made sense in this context. Moving back to what?

Its beat is decent, and the melodies are hypnotizing.

I particularly enjoyed the catchy melodies and Doyi Lee's unique, peachey vocals.

I am not sure where Doyi Lee came from, it feels out of place. If you had introduced her, it would've made more sense, and in that case reusing her name again would not be necessary.

However, the drop didn't give me the impression that it did its job.

I am not sure which song you are talking about at this point. Your topic of conversation tends to jump back and forth from one thing to another.

It is important for the reader to know what topic you are referring to when you are using a word like 'it', so it sometimes needs to be introduced especially if it is not clear in context.

Thank you very much! :)

Just to answer your questions:

1) I tried to use the "continue the momentum" expression since I saw people using it in many news articles. :)

"Her momentum continued into the next year, as she won gold medals"
"Technology stocks are continuing their momentum"
"Wickmayer's win continued the momentum"
"Woods continued his momentum"

2) I guess I can understand how you get confused, but I also have a feeling that you didn't really read carefully either? :)

I think that I said clearly in the beginning,
"Doyi Lee is back with "@JUST REMEMBER."So, let me talk about this track today."

And then I talked briefly about who she is.

Following that, I mentioned in a new paragraph, "Moving back to "@JUST REMEMBER,"(which you misunderstood considering you changed this sentence to "Another example of her music is...) it’s a dreamy synth pop (bubble pop) track. ~~. Its beat is decent and blah blah...However, its drop didn't do its job well."

But thanks for your suggestions :)
