When I first heard people call dog owners 铲屎官, I was really confused because I was not able to figure out the connection between the two things. Later on, I found out that the pet owners were supposed to clean their pets’ poo when they walk their pets in public places. I really admire the person who invented the word 铲屎官, and I think he or she must be a genius.
