3. 因为我是初学者, 有些时候我说的话可能不是很得体
4. 重述 should be the translation for paraphrase, but people may not undertand it without context as this word is not that commonly used.

谢谢你们! It's been around 12 years since the last time I spoke Mandarin. I used translators to find the Mandarin words for 血统, 初学者, etc. I will try to learn this language seriously! By the way, I have several questions:
1. "to master (skills, languages)" 中文怎么说?
2. Is there a more casual way to say "如果是这种情况"?
3. How do I say "I might say something impolite"? I wanted to say that in the " 因为我是初学者, 我可能..." sentence, but I didn't know how to say it, so I had to paraphrase.
4. Lastly, "to paraphrase" 中文怎么说?
