Today I met a long-time no-see friendwith a friend whom I hadn't seen in a long time.

I know what you mean but this is more how'd we say it in the US.

He is really good at joking andso I laughed.

Though I have metd a bad thingexperience yesterday, I doidn't talk about it.

I think maybe yesterday I needed to do more preparation tofor meet my friending BB.

Maybe I just lost my boundaryies and stiuck to him too much...I need to stop recalling those memories.

Back to today's experience ...

We haved a great lunch in an Italyian restaurant.

He doid some research about iton the menu and selected fantastic dishes.

What a good friend!

The chef did a great skilljob with the pork and I really liked it (though it iwas a bit too salty, I really dream to so I ended up dreaming of haveing a bowl of Chinese rice to eat the cuisinewith it).

That's what I would end up doing, too!

PThe pasta with lamb soup iwas great, too.

Yesterday I cried and I chose to stewmake my favorite flavor of udon for myself.

Then we decided to go to NY.

We waited for the bus and talked about what happened to us thishow our winter holiday was.

He came back tofrom China and was confused about what happened toin NY which made me feel afraid to take the subway.

We thought it iwas a complex question and that safety is the priority.

But the moment we arrived in NY, we lost every word aboutforgot about all of our worries in thise hustle and bustle cof the City.

In our schedule, we mayWe walked along with High Line Park, but we spent too much time at a Japanese grocery store (MUJI), and we missed the entry time of the museum.

andSo we continued talking about food on the bus trip, Chinatown becomes the dest heading to Chinatiown.

I miss NYC!

It iwas my first time arriving in Chinatown.

It looksed like a vivid county in China.

The light lights and stores closed, ands were turning off and the stores were closing so when we continued walking into the heart of the town, I felt terrible because there awere fewer lights therenow and people began to look at us up and down with noout smilesing.

Worse, before we arrived thein Chinatown, I shared a book I have read with him, t. The book's name is Sneakhead—— it's a story about the dark history of the Chinatown underworld.

So it makesde us more nervous.

Then we decided to go back to WTC and finish today's experience.

However, it iIt was a wonderful trip and I feel really relaxed after spending time with him though I would say that the vibe was more like typical Chinese heterosexual dating haha.

Today he paysid the bills by himself, and so next Thursday we wouldhen we go to Flushing to enjoy Chinese food, I decided to pay for that meal too.

This sounds like today you met him for the first time ever, and you plan to see him rarely. Do you mean a friend you haven’t seen in a long time? If so, “I got together with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time” would be more natural.

This sounds like BB is another friend, not the “long-time-no-see” friend you mentioned earlier. If these are the same person, it would be easier to understand if you would say so explicitly.
