*Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki never stops producing tracks. He has teased his surprise collab with the legendary musician, George Benson.

The “Mambo” producer shared an old picture of his family and George Benson together on his Instagram today. He added that he transformed George Benson’s “Give Me The Night” into a dance floor burner, and it will be out tomorrow. The caption says:

“Before the facial hair before my hair grew out my dad tossed me in this photo with my brother and his pal the legend George Benson. Decades later we came together and we spent time on this one making it just right. George recut his vocals and allowed me to reimagine a 2021 version of one of the classic Quincy Jones productions and my favorite Benson record Give Me The Night. I’m so happy We are finally unleashing this one! It will be dropping tomorrow Friday on our new label (A Good One).”

Released in 1980, “Give Me The Night” is George Benson’s signature track that boasts funky Moog synth bass sounds.

Stay tuned for these two legend’s unexpected team-up!

*Yubin

Yubin has performed “Perfume Remix” with the indie artists, Hwang Se Young and DINT.

The former member of Wonder Girls said on her Instagram last night that the video of her performance with the artists was uploaded on a YouTube channel called “Iro Project” yesterday. The channel uploads covers of various artists and promotes collaborations between original and cover singers.

Last month, Yubin released the Europop-style track “Perfume” whose fascinating retro synths take hold. Then it was flipped into a modern hip-hop/future bass track by Hwang Se Young and DINT the same month, which gained positive feedback from music fans.

Watch their epic performance below, and tell us which version of Yubin’s “Perfume” is in your wheelhouse.

Since the journal is about Steve Aoki and Yubin, it should really use a more descriptive title
