我經常去一條位於海邊的人行道散步。當天氣好時，很多人會在那裏釣魚。一直以來，我對釣魚這個的興趣感到渺茫，因為它看起來非常無聊。雖然我喜歡自己一個人呆著，但我通常會用那些時間來看書或者聽音樂。對我來說，坐著等事發生感覺很痛苦。

乾等 means to sit around and wait in vain. It is subjective. People who enjoy fishing probably don't think they wait in vain. :)

Nice job!
I don't understand why go fishing is interesting, either. But I've heard some fishing enthusiasts says it is interesting because you need to use strategies to catch fish. Does it make sense? :D
