我在年初時開始寫日記這個習慣。除了紀錄那天做的事情，我還會寫下自己的想法與感受。如果寫下了煩惱，我再不會胡思亂想，心情就自然輕鬆了多。而且我的記憶挺差，做了的事很快就不記得，有許多事情就是這樣完全忘記了，感到遺憾。雖然忘掉的記憶無可補救，但現在開始紀錄也行了。剛開始時，我每週寫一次，每次寫一段左右。現在我每週會寫幾次，每次都寫幾頁。我上個月開始用中文寫日記，比我用英文寫的簡單多。但我知道，如果繼續努力練習，一定會進步。總有一天，我能清楚地用中文表達我的感受。

I started journaling at the beginning of the year. Other than recording what I did, I also write down my thoughts and feelings. When I write down things that are bothering me, they don't trouble me as much and my mood instantly gets better. Another reason why I like journaling is because I have a terrible memory. I forget what I did very quickly, which is how I forgot a lot of things that I actually want to remember. I regret not writing them down, but there's nothing I can do about that now. As long as I start now, it's okay. When I first started, I write once a week. I write a short paragraph every time. Nowadays, I write multiple times a week and several pages at a time. Last month, I started journaling in Chinese as well. The entries I write in Chinese are very simple compared to the ones I write in English. However, I know that I'll definitely improve if I continue to practice. One day, I'll be able to express my thoughts in Chinese as clearly as I do in English.
