Rose Garden
We went to a rose garden, because my father likes roses.
The garden is a private house, though, it is very beautiful and also open to the public.
My father said that it is good season for roses now, so I went to there together, however they hadn't bloomed much yet, perhaps because of the garden might be in among mountains and about half a month early.
There were a lot of trees and seedlings, so I thought it would be really beautiful when it was in full bloom.
After that we had a lunch near there, and came back home.
Then, the roses in our garden were in full bloom and were much more beautiful than the rose garden.
Our garden is small, so my mother, who wants to grow vegetables, and my father, who wants to grow roses, always compete for a sunny spot, though.
父がバラが好きなので、あるバラ園に行ってきた。
そこは個人の家なのだが、きれいなので一般公開もしているところだ。
父が今バラが見頃だというので付いて行ったのだが、山間にあるからか半月ほど早かったらしく、まだあまり咲いてなかった。
沢山の木や苗があったので、満開のになったらすごくきれいだろうなと思った。
近くのカフェでランチをして、家に帰ってきた。
そしたら、バラ園よりよほど我が家の庭の方がバラが満開で綺麗だった。
我が家の庭は狭いので、野菜を育てたい母と、バラを育てたい父といつも日当たりの良い場所を取り合っているんですけどね。
