A Drone Show
OLC announced that a drone show will be held at Tokyo Disneyland from July 1 to September 14. It is a special additional performance which celebrates the grand finale of "Reach for Stars", a projection mapping show projected onto Cinderella Castle.
The day before Fantasy Springs opened, a drone show was held without an audience at Tokyo DisneySea, and it was relayed on TV and YouTube. However, a drone show with an audience is the first attempt at Tokyo Disney Resort.

海外パークでは既にドローンショーが導入されていますが、日本は航空法による規制が厳しいため、パークへのドローン導入は非現実的だと今まで囁かれていました。
その為、ドローン導入はファンにとって嬉しいサプライズであると同時に、ゲストへの足枷も生じてしまいました。
ドローンショー実施25分前から、シンデレラ城背後にあるファンタジーランド全域に入場規制が課されました。
幸い、ファンタジーランド一番人気の『プーさんのハニーハント』だけは規制対象外ですが、複数アトラクションの早期クローズによって他エリアの混雑度に影響を与えることになります。
実施期間中に東京ディズニーランドに行く予定がないため、状況をこの目で確かめることができませんが、ドローンショー存続危機に陥るようなトラブルが生じないことを祈ります。

Nice writing. I didn't know the laws in Japan about drones were so strict. I know that the drone show is causing closures in some areas, but does Disneyland in Tokyo do a firework show? Because don't they have to close of certain areas for the firework show anyway? Because I think in California, Toontown closes an hour or so before everything else because that is where they set off the fireworks, and I think it has always been like that but I don't think it really affects the crowds in other areas too much.

Tokyo Disneyland does have a fireworks show.
However, unlike drone shows, fireworks are launched from outside the park, so they don’t usually require closing large areas inside.
Sometimes certain areas may be restricted for safety reasons, but it doesn’t affect the park as much as people might expect.

I've never been to any Disneyland parks. I don't like noise, crowds, or noisy crowds LOL. But it might be fun to go with friends. A drone show sounds spectacular, I've never seen one in person.
