A long time ago when I started learning Chinese, I naively bought a Chinese book, and I hope I can read it one day. I originally thought it was a Mandarin book, but with my Chinese level improving and I was aware that I was totally wrong. I started to be aware that the characters in this book have too many strokes. Does destiny call me to study traditional characters? As time passed, l learned that the book was written in Cantonese. Maybe I should learn Cantonese?
