President Trump’s tariff policies have caused chaos around the globe. For Japan, exports of automobiles and other related goods are of concern. In addition, we will be forced to import even more American agricultural products, creating problems for Japan's agricultural sector. Personally, our family doesn't buy many American products, but we cannot avoid further inflation. In particular, Apple, Google and amazon are indispensable in my life, so my first thought was that I had to buy a new iPhone right away before the prices went up. However, yesterday, the U.S. announced that tariffs on smartphones and PCs will be excluded. I understand that Americans will also be affected by these tariffs, because iPhones are made in China. Trump is such a selfish and opportunistic man.
