1.Today I continued to pratice the zong"uptown funk". I found there were some parts too difficlut for me. Then I watched some short vedios on line. Different player played different style. But they all enjoyed their playing. Then I realised that what the most important was pleasure. The only requirement is that you play the rhythm correctly. You can play whatever you want. I remembered that my drum teacher taught me how to play freely. He played bass when I played drums. It was too hard for me. I couldn't get the music and I was nervous. So, if I want to play freely, I need to practice more. Only if I know a lot of styles of rhythm, can I have my freestyle. It's just the same as my English writing. Only if I understand many words exactly, including its meaning and spelling, can I use them properly.

2.I went to ride a bike today. I passed by my grandparents' home, which in Chinese it was described as"old home". Since they died, I have never been there. I didn't like the people of the small village since I was a kid. Most of them were selfish. I didn't stay long at the village so I didn't have friends there.
In Chinese cultrure, old home means a lot. But to me, it means nothing.

The "player played" is a bit confusing. Either word would be fine on its own, but with them both there together, it is better to find an alternate word choice for one of them.

Then I realiszed that what ~~the~~was most important was ~~pleasure.~~having fun.
